LawBreakers is a very good online shooter that distinguishes itself with a couple of original, spot-on ideas. What makes it trail behind Overwatch are disappointingly forgettable characters. [10/2017, p.46]
LawBreakers' most important element is the strong, tight gameplay that conveys the feeling of a classic shooter in a modern package. But the rest of the game disappoints with uninteresting characters and maps, not a lot of options and just a few modes.

No matter what comes next, Lawbreakers is a success. It's proof, among other things, that veteran design talent really does mean something - and that the shooters of the late '90s still have something to teach the modern game industry. This is more than nostalgia: it's a paean to the genre's potential, performed by people who know it well. [Issue#311, p.104]

Call of Duty: Black Ops has more character than this joke ****. Playing this was a wast of time.

The game was fun while it lasted. Sadly it is dead now. I hate how Bosskey didn't listen to their userbase. It would still be alive if they did

Another good game ruined by the gaming media and "critics" If you're looking for reviews where the reviewer bashes the creators and call this an OW clone, then walk away you brainwashed . The death of this game came because of the undeserved praise and comparisons Overwatch gets to it so called "fun gameplay". I am the type of novice reviewer that atleast knows when a game is good or bad. And BOTH games are not bad and are VERY ...(wait for the plot twist) different. SHOCKING, I know. Let's review this shall we ? The vision behind game: Lawbreakers is a FPS CLASS (not HERO) based shooter mainly focused around skill and fast pace movement. There is little to none of back story for the game because it's entire investment was around.. well the GAMEplay. Execution: The gameplay is amazing. Fast pace and responsive. Each class can stand on it's own against any other class. The good thing about this game is that I never get killed easily by casuals. Skill is the key to enjoy this game, and that's what I like. However, this does make casuals, unisntall the game after ten minutes, making the player base much smaller compared to other games that try to be casual friendly. The only flaws to game is the objectives. They're simply not suitable for this type of game expect maybe one or two. Summary: A good game that probably should have gone F2P from start. If you try to maintain playerbase with hardcore gamers only, you should know that in era, we are not many. Most are average players and the huge amount of the gaming community are casuals. The typical consumer expects more than just 5 types of matches and fast paced movement (unless you're a big company....). Anywho , good game but much like Battleborn, it was born on the wrong era of gaming. Try this game if you're an average gamer, most players are in that same level too.

LawBreakers is an interesting mix of Tribes: Ascend and Overwatch. If you are tired of Blizzard's online shooter, you definitely need to try it.

A ton of players compare Owerwatch or other FPS to LawBreakers. You can't simply compare them since LawBreakers feels completely different and more intense than any shooter out there as far as I know. Developers seems very interested in community feedback since early Alpha through Beta till now. And it's seems they will do that in the future. What I like about this game the most is that every class or role in-game can actually heavy frag! Support that can actually get kills? Check. Fun game overall? Check Intense? Check Need's a LOT of skill? Check Team based game? Check Suitable for competitive scene? Check Spectator mode? Check I mean.. yeah. It is worth to at least try it!

Absolutely phenomenal game. Like a mix made in heaven between Overwatch and Unreal tournament. An fps that will undoubtedly change the landscape of gaming for the best. Thank you Cliff for such an amazing game

Given the unique demands of anti-gravity gameplay, the PC version's comprehensive yet concise tutorials turn out to be crucial for onboarding new users. That makes their puzzling omission from the PS4 version disappointing.

In its best game modes, LawBreakers manages to make simply moving around feel amazing. Learning how to fall with style in the most deadly way possible is a thrilling challenge. Getting stuck playing a weak mode and map thanks to the grab-bag matchmaking can be frustrating, but it doesn’t ruin an otherwise fast and tense shooter that lets you gleefully propel yourself through low-gravity with rocket boots and miniguns.

LawBreakers is a fun game, lacking in content certainly and no way near worth a full price tag, but good and even innovative in its own minor way. Hopefully with time players and content will come, because otherwise like Brink, it will just become another failed shooter you half remember.

LawBreakers is far from being a bad multiplayer FPS. It's a fun game with some good ideas, that can entertain you a lot. But there's nothing in it that feels really surprising or more appealing to players that already have plenty of choices in the genre.

This is the best competitive shooter i have ever played. The market is huge for these games so this got over looked hard and this game brings so much new **** to the table. LIST!!! lots of variations of movement in one game tight maps that force players to fight at all times and play objectives cool looking characters not cartoons extremely gratifying kills gravity amazing balance character so different it takes 60 + hours to get good with one the game forces strategy change constantly THE GREATEST MELEE COMBO SYSTEM EVER.....first shooter i have played were melee is needed each character has the power to destroy many and much more Even if this game gets buried in all the crap i sure hope they learn from it.

Not a bad game but not a great game either. It shows moments of brilliance when it comes to hero design like turning your hero into a fighterjet on the press of a button or swinging around on a energywip through the map. But between those moments of brilliance there is alot of downtime in form of mostly very boring and annoying gamemodes and really bad map design. In most gamemodes you have to camp most of the time in small rooms or small areas to charge up your objective, in order to win. There is, for example, some very bad thought out king of the hill variant where you have to stand literaly most of the round in a 5 meter big circle which spawns and despawns on different places on the map and arent allowed to leave this circle if you want to score **** you basically have to camp the whole round in a 5 meter big area of the map! In two other gamemodes called uplink and overcharge you have to bring the objective from the middle of the map into a small room (on every map its a small room!!) near your spawnarea and then protect it there as long as it charges up to 100 %. Who builds campy gamemodes like this where you have to play most of the time on the least interesting spots of the maps? I have nothing against games which have only objective based gamemodes. But those games should at least then make sure that their objective based gamemodes are actualy fun to play and not totaly unfun clusterf... like most of them are in this game. This game has 4 bad game modes and only 1 good gamemode (turf war), which actual is fun to play. 30 dollar sounds not much, but i would save my money as long as they refuse to fix their gamemodes, or at least let the player pick the gamemode they want to play and dont randomly spawn you into a mode you dont want to play.

Overwatch meets Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Everyone is Pharah, including Genji and Tracer. And Pharah. The gameplay is pretty solid but the whole low-gravity firefighting is just not fun.
