I have beaten this version front and back, and have over 400 hours on PS5, and 50 hours on PC. i Know this game inside out and really like this game. Now when i say this version is awful and you should avoid it, you REALLY should. The original Switch version looks awful, especially compared to the console versions, so we were exited for the Switch 2 release. Fidelity mode looks fine but has terrible frame pacing issues, and still noticeable lack of quality compared to PS4 AND PS5. And performance mode is laughably bad. it runs at a 60fps sure, but the visuals is not much better than Switch 1, which like i said, Looks AWFUL. click on the link to see the difference ****/r/SonicFrontiers/comments/1rvxvea/frontiers_really_needs_a_switch_2_version_cuz_the/ its a game key card meaning that the DLC has to be downloaded anyway, which it is Free anyway. and they have the AUDACITY to charge MORE for this version compared to the PS5 and PC versions TL:DR, it takes a good game, and makes it worse and charges more. Classic SEGA move. if you want Sonic Frontiers, get it on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC for the mods. If switch is all you got, man i feel bad.

Only, and I mean the ONLY issue: is that i wish on the hard mode you had 3 hearts instead of 4. Thats it. This game is next to perfection

Best boost sonic game before Shadow Generations and even then. The game is more slower paced yea, but has a bigger emphasis on platforming and exploration using the wisps which I like. The music is great, it looks beautiful especially on dolphin at 1440p and a 60fpa cheat, and the story is pretty good. It's funny but there were a couple of bad ones ngl, but the end game is super sick with the black hole chasing sonic. Only complaint is that it's too short, and some of the jokes low-key didn't land. And the boss fights **** but it's a sonic game, apart from Frontiers and Shadow gens bosses in sonic games ****.

The Sonic portion is good, but the physics have been slightly changed. Classic sonic is a little slower, but it does nake platforming easier l, but modern sonic can run into issues because of it, but other than that, Sonic portion is great And the shadow portion is flawless.only co plaint is that I wish he was a little faster, and I wish the game was longer

This game is the last big budget, and polished sonic we have gotten until now 14 years later with the latest Sonic game. But the game isn't for everyone. It has a notice difficulty spike to it, it's a very hard game, and the game dosent really tell you how to play the game. Like the werehog for instance, all the game tells you is how to fight amd how to grab onto ledges, that's it. They don't tell you gow the upgrade system work, leaving many people to just use the same combos for the entire game and then people come and say the game is **** other than that the story was great, the gameplay was great, the voice acting was great, only complaint is the it's a lil too long, but I'm just nitpicking
