Just as I expected, the most overrated game of all time. Absolutely broken in every single way, and is only playable on PC. This should destroy the reputation of cdpr! How can they possibly release it on consoles, and charge full price! It's straight robbery. DO NOT BUY THIS AND SUPPORT A TERRIBLE GAME PUBLISHER!!

Don't listen to the xbots trying so hard to review bomb this. It's an amazing game and shows why it's worth buying a ps5.. if you can lol

They've really outdone themselves. Again, the worst NHL game to date. DO NOT BUY!!! it's beyond terrible in every way.

Absolutely terrible again.. wow. The skating is slightly improved, but thsts about it. Goalies are beyond terrible. Literally letting in every single shot on both sides. Its just silly. And the ai is ridiculousky bad. Penaties are just stupid bad. 15 each team per gsme, and it doesnt matter what you do, itll be a penalty. I slowed down a replay, and watched my guy poke check about 3 feet away from someone, and he still "tripped". This gsme is a joke agaiin. I would avoid this game like the plague till ea decides to come out with a somewhat decent game

Quite possibly the WORST game i have ever played. Absilutrky terrible servers that are constantky timing out, and when it does work, the lag is ridiculous. Very terrible story thst seems like a high school wrote. Dome of the worst enemy AI youll ever find, and some of the eorst character models youll ever find. Its good for a laugh though, at the pure incompetemce. Stay away from this poor excuse ****

I originally had this game reviewed at a 4 out of ten, due to its terrible physics, bad connections, and bad community, but since the latest update, it has become nearly unplayable. Simply due to the physics They've somehow made is worse, with the ball or puck bouncing like a bat out of hell anytime two players touch the ball. I haven't had a fun game for a while now because of it, so I've finally decided to delete it. Wait for a patch to buy this game, if they ever do fix it

Without a doubt significantly worse than NHL 17. Terrible AI, and I mean veeeerry terrible. Broken, unresponsive controls. Constant glitches. Freezes too often. The only "new" thing in gameplay is one handed dekes (which we already had in previous game). We really need to come together and stop buying this over priced garbage, so maybe EA can actually try to pump out a half decent hockey game. They're relying on idiots buying this crap every year. So please, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.! It'll save you money, frustration, and disappointment

Simply put, this might be one of the worst games I've ever played. The clinch and ground game are literally broken. Weird unresponsive controls, and almost hilariously bad animations. Stand up fights sometimes feel ok, but very easily exploited. It's way too easy to spam one kick and beat absolutely anybody. Online is completely unplayable because of this. This is one you should definitely avoid buying if you haven't already. I bought it for 20 bucks, and I still feel completely ripped off

A great game if you're not looking to put any skill in a game. A good time waster, but not necessarily the best thing for most gamers. The biggest negative is the quick chat options, with most of them being negative, it really shows how terrible the community is. After many games, not one person hasn't complained, cried, or rage quit.

Honestly, this game is a really good game. Simply, it's just a bad port to console. Glitches aside, very great game. Don't listen to most of these people. make your own opinion. Ps. I'm gonna out a 10, even though I'd say it's about a 7 , just to even out the little baby scores

Such a disappointment ****. As a fan whose been playing since NHL 95, this is honestly the worst AI I've ever seen in any NHL game, or any game period. I've laughed pretty hard many times as I watch my own teammate skate half way across the ice to hit me off the puck and both fall down, just silly gameplay, and ridiculous AI. The passing is a joke. I don't know any other way to describe it. Many times I've been hold up on my analog and my pass goes 100% behind me, completely against what I'm pressing. Switching between teammates is completely random and horrible. I have to press R2 about 4 times before I can finally switch to someone whose relevant to the play, always switching between teammates that I can't even see on the screen and way out of the play. Completely random. The goalies are the worst I've seen since 95! And the only reason is because in NHL 95 you could do a wrap around and the goalie would get stuck behind the night, and the goalies in NHL 15 are literally just as bad. Jumping up to the hash marks during every breakaway or penalty shot, causing a laughably easy goal. Or simple shots hitting the goalie and bouncing over his head, spinning sround looking for it. The goalies are a comeplete game breaker and definitely one of the worst things about this cash grab game. The missing game modes and huge lack of content isn't as much a big deal for me, but easily understandably important for most gamers, so there's that. All I can say is if you haven't already gotten this game, the please save yourself the money and don't feed EA's pockets on this one. Do not buy this game! You WILL be disappointed. This is coming from a guy whose spent many many hours playing NHL 15 and is high ranked in HUT, so I'm just saying that I do know this game very well. I've yet to play a game where many, if not all, of these problems have occurred. Just a friendly warning about this game
