The game itself is good, the bugs make it simply too frustrating to play after a while. i have a high end rig, brand new..this game has frozen on my multiple times, odd clipping in boss fights, strange camera glitches where it spins and spins and your character ends up **** last which just happened, the game froze and i could not stop it, i was unable to access my pc and had to hard restart it. wait for the bugs to be worked out before buying..oddly enough there are other games just as good with less bugs but had worse scores

Fun game..a nice break from the usual and wayyy over done souls formula..this js definitely worth the sticker price. No glitches, bugs etc

Not certain what all the neg press is about but 7 hours in and im loving **** a fun game, no system or tech issues, fun exploring but not overwhelming..interesting story...humans purged of emotions and subordinate to **** good...glad I gave it a try

Fun game but should be priced less...take it for what it is and enjoy..there are worse games out there that players have given better scores to. Have fun and enjoy

I think the most disappointing part of this game is the lost potential. At its core it's a good game but the lack up updates, glitches, and overall tech issues makes it hard to recommend. The glitches makes it too unpredictable to play. Too bad really...a few more dollars of investment and it would be a banger. The jank got so bad I had to stop playing which is disappointing cuz I was enjoying it despite the glaring flaws.

Ignore the **** game is solid. It invites other players into the fold and allows them an opportunity to experience this style of game. The devs have a good reputation and one that has shown a lot of innovation. The story is cool, game play is **** game provides a true customization experience. You can tweak pretty much everything to make the game how you want it..true freedom in game style...overall a lot of fun...took me close to 30 hours (farming included).

Ive had to edit my review..there is a game breaking bug that prevents processing an area with the qissa npc. Combat movement slow feels like im moving throw molasses. Weapons even the fast **** real way to level up your stamina...platforming sections are frustrating given the inconsistencies of the 2 main mechanics they give you making progression a chore...pass Oh, and a huge fan of the difficulty slider..props to the devs

$100...30fps, stuttering, popping, muted and blurred scenery and npcs. The more dense the worse it gets. Game breaking bug that prevents progression. Poor and confusing story, combat ok, exploration ok but weighed down due to what I mentioned above. Not worth $100.

Fun, an improvement on nioh 2 in every way...tons of quality of life improvements. Tons of content and systems to learn...only downside is farming isn't as easy as in 2 and things aren't explained well **** very enjoyable

To those who complain about bland environments Its a post-apocalyptic world..expect bland environments ****'s an ok game...combat is ok and varied enough to make it interesting...weapons and build variety is super **** overall its **** worh 100 that's foe sure

The new warped server is fun. Overal it's enjoyable but suffers from cohesion wirh respect to quests, menus, items, button controls when in menus...sigh...this stops jt from being a great game.

This is my first time playing a free **** is absolutely fire. Graphics are great, gameplay is fun combat is good, lots to do and there is absolutely no play to win just for cosmetics and what i love the most is there is no risk to trying it out cuz it be **** a game for gamers...love it

Ninja gaiden black by far more superior here is why...more diverse biomes, more diverse enemies, better story, better fighting, longer gameplay...ng4 lacks in these areas, has a repetitive game play loop with some flashy visuals meant to distract from its lack of depth. Also, wayyy to pricey foe the short gameplay. Wait till its on sale

I've never played a game like this before. I mostly play rpg and souls **** this is super fun and I love learning a whole new gaming ecosystem.

Gameplay loop is repetitive but doesn't feel that way at first given the open world. Too many similarities to ac shadows, combat is fun, scenery is nice but it gets boring given the lack of diverse enemy movements and enemies...missions are repetitive and lastly the lone wolf trope is wayyyy to overplayed..I only really enjoy playing female characters so nice to see that..wait till a sale i would say.

Look devs stop the predatory corrupt behavior...$100 for this mess LOL...ps3 graphics and **** know we are going to get fed up with all of you ripping us off and eventually walk away...like **** all will never get another penny from me.

Game play loop is fun...lots of loot but most isn't all that good or rare...difficulty levels need some fine tuning, and on my ps5 im getting frame drop rates, missing inventory, blank inventory slots...like the weapon is there but you can't see the Pic...ps5 is in need of some **** all the support, as usual, is going to pc..a game comes out they use steam to complain and the devs listen.. console players don't have a steam so we get the short end of the stick...maybe we should all stop buying their games if the pc audience is so important...

This game is straight ****...metroidvanias are bad in general but this one takes the cake.. the only move I have is to go fwd and backwards and limited **** bosses have several varied moves and one shots...there is no skill in going fwd and backwards. Perfect timing for platforming, and small hit boxes don't take into account controller latency or wear and tear...this makes it too frustrating. Devs have forgotten that in making a game high frustration and low reward make it unplayable for the vast majority. Turn it down a bit lads...this is a game.. its supposed to be fun and challenging. Always offer a difficulty slider and boss health bar makes it fair for the average player..stop making games foe all the joystick heroes who have nothing better to do and look to games for a sense of empty satisfaction.

Another poorly developed game by a dev team living in isolation feom the rest of the world. It is truly unbalanced. A survival game does not work if there are mobs of enemies that take multiple shots to kill and you have wayyy to limited **** sick and tired of wasting my money on poorly developed games that are horribly unbalanced. The gaming industry has forgotten that high frustration and low reward does not make a good **** done...save my money for books.

Platform puzzles hit boxes too small...enemies hit too hard...main currency resource too scarce and items too expensive...bosses are fine...save your money and frustration for something more deserving...game devs have forgotten that games are supposed to be fun and **** frustrating which take away the **** spend our hard earned money on these messes only to be frustrated for hours and quit...gaming industry has lost direction..another bad game, another disappointment.

Graphics are nice, no real concerns, story is just bad, acting is cheesy like a b movie lol, music bad, gameplay very very repetitive and boring unless you like repetitive simplistic hack n slash at AAA pricing...wait for a sale

Massive...massive balance issues.. never ever buy a game where they offer a skill check boss especially when the game does not offer any skills lol like a parry or block just dodge.. honglan boss is wayyy over tuned and it's like hitting a brick wall...i paid good money for this garbage...there is no reasonable way to overcome without sinking massive amounts of **** NOT BUY

With so many things wrong where to begin....match making only works with peer to peer they don't have independent servers...finding a match doesn't work at least for me. You can't communicate with other players, solo balancing is wayyy off, the day and night cycle moves too quick especially if u r single player. This needed way more time to bake.. they are now following the model of all other gaming studios and rushing a product out to market to turn a profit for that quarter...then ocne out spend months patching it. This game is unplayable unless you have friends willing to commit. It's a horrible ****'t buy

Great game overall...I'm not a huge platform/metroidvania fan but this game is lots of fun. They could tweak a few things like being able to upgrade the blacksmith and other npcs easier. allowing weapon upgrades to make them stronger. More wepaon variability would be nice. Overall it's worth the price tag and offers lots of playtime.

After over 100 hours of this game I've lowered my review and have the below thoughts. Overall game suffers from balancing issues 1. Too many crashes on ps5 usually at the crevice and around inventory management 2. Status **** too many enemies proc Status effects, they proc too quickly, deal too much damage. I spend most of my time managing Status effects especially in some boss fights. As you progress to harder levels the statuses become more frequent. I can only carry 10 of each with some areas or elites or enemies procing multiple **** when you are playing a fast weapon it's ok but playing the greatsword you are more stationary making my playthrough more about Status management rather than fighting challenging enemies. Status effect management is more frustrating rather than a challenge and dying because you ran out of a cure is not a challenge I don't learn anything from that. Plse reduce the amount of Status effects in areas, e enemies etc, or provide infinite cures for each Status. I mean some elites have high poise, high health, can regenerate health, have a shield and proc you with a Status LOL...that's not a challenge..making something hard doesn't mean putting every possible effect on an enemy lol. Great game otherwise plse consider my thoughts and deal with the statuses. It takes away from the enjoyment of the game.

Great game, lots of fun, good voice acting, doesn't take itself too seriously but as same time engaging with lots to explore.

This game is just overall bad. Acting, story, graphics, **** does very little well. Save your money.

What a buggy, boring repetive mess...I have never in all the years I've been gaming been locked in an area because of a bug preventing ****'t waste your money.. loot system **** random drops...overall bad

Overall an ok game. Nice graphics, fun gameplay, lots of loot, weapons etc. On the bad...games like these are made or broke by boss fights...this one has over simplistic boss movesets which they overcompensate for by allowing them to spam their attacks with little pause for the player to get an attack in...they don't do combos as much as spam attacks...u raise your weapon and they hit u 4 times...same goes with regular enemies making for a frustrating experience. Simulacra of Veltha is an optional boss and absolutely horrible for spamming constant attacks, massive aoes and a slow stagger bar build up...there is little break in between her attacks...this is unfortunately a recurring problem with most enemies. Heavy weapons and fast weapons move to slow, charge attacks too slow,no hyper armor for special attacks...game needs a ton of balancing

I'vechanged my review from a 6 to 2. There are a ton of balancing issues. The recent update does nothing to address this. Basics and elites hit way to hard, have to far of a reach, too quick, our attacks slower, healing slower. Bosses have way too many one shot skills, aoes that can one shot. The final boss you can even get into the arena without being one shot. Plse addres the horrible balancing issues. Other games have been skewered for doing this and way more receptive to fixing. You made elden ring to expand your market base, and the dlc to appeal to the guys who spend theirs days in their parents basements. Level 250..seasoned dark souls player

This is one of team ninjas best games. Great story, fun game play, not tedious like dragon's dogma 2...great mechanics...I didn't even mind the graphics. Slow to start but really picks up as you progress with more things unlocking as you progress. It's an easy 60 hour game if you take your time. Will be staring a new character now that I'vefinished it.

This game is **** a souls like they have it nailed...very well balanced, good fight mechanics, great level design, loot system, weapon damage is balanced well against enemy health, status don't proc too quickly. the shifting between axiom and umbral is an awesome and inventive mechanic. overall, it's such a pleasant game, not too hard, not too easy...accessible for everyone.

Overall a fun game, but they tried to merge too many souls elements from previous games and it feels messy. Like it doesn't know what it wants to be. Fighting mechanics need some real balancing. Heavier weapons need to swing faster given thr delay and that you can be staggered our of a swing. There is no poise which makes things unreasonable. The enemy status effects too strong, proc to easily and the mechanics to cure that too slow. So put all that together and you have an unbalanced game that needs some tuning. The green monster boss fight is a prime example about all this comes together in a massive mess. Plse stop putting in skill check bosses. It's unnecessary and most people who game don't have the time it takes to commit to that. Green monster needs some nerfing. Especially 2nd phase

We pay good money for your games...stop putting in OP skill check bosses..i dont play for **** not a joy stick hero..i hated sekiro and now i see it here..elden ring was big cause many could play and get good...balteus is way OP tone it down...Game play is repetitive, boring, story is forgettable and level design is meh. I have to admit I'm a bit sick and tired of the sekiro style format. Can we move on now plse. Maybe find a game mechanic other than a stagger bar LOL...anyways...difficulty scaling is wayyy unbalanced. Just tired of this style of game...i won't continue with it...maybe if story was more compelling, a loot system...otherwise it gets a solid meh

This is traditionally EA...i have experienced this from them multiple times. They force companies to rush products. We should all be concerned when a company brags about cutting corners and doing things in record time. We should not reward that by buying the game. I never listen or read professional reviews because they are not honest and are misleading. Our reviews are the real ones. Its not a good game or respectful to the users when this happens.

DO NOT BUY. I am not a person who writes reviews but this game warrants it...I would agree with most of the bad reviews but add that they got the formula for difficulty all wrong. Graphics are bad, game play repetitive, lack of any real customization, weapons and magic do minimal **** a parry button masher. Most bosses are passable and some fun but lu **** mounted warrior is a rip off from sekiro even same move set this boss is not passable. Full stop. Unless you are a pro gamer like many u see on you tube. They need go nerf boss damage and increase players damage and make npc summons a tad more useful. Overall just a bad game. Not any fun to spend hours ans hours on one boss.. I do have a life lol
