Funny. But rubbish. If i wanted to see a grown man act like a stupid kid, i would watch a video on youtube. Anyone who says this movie is the best movie they have ever seen, has obviously not seen good movies.

Take the movie Dude Where's My Car, remove the plot, cast and humor. Then add hire some idiots with no acting experience to play the main cast. Add a common prescription drug which people hardly know anything about. And then you get The Hangover... A bunch of guys completely forgot what happened last night and spent the entire movie trying to figure it out. Extremely dull and unoriginal.

The problem with people these days is that they think a movie where people take a benzodiazepine is the funniest thing ever. This movie was funny. I would put it up there with Hot Fuzz.

They took a great movie and added bad special effects, dialogue worthy of twilight, rubbish actors (except for Chloe Moretz and Richard Jenkins) and the annoying sound effects you see in movies like My Bloody Valentine. They then removed all creepiness in the movie to make it easier to watch. And in the end we are left with a mix of Twilight and Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Stick with the original, it did not need remaking. I watched this movie because the critic reviews seemed decent and Matt Reeves. Now i will never watch a movie with Matt in the credits. Also "a brief sexual situation." made me laugh so hard.

Jesus Christ! When will you people learn... This movie is rubbish. The plot is awful (see Biodome), the style of the movie is unoriginal (see Blur (PC Game)), the acting was obviously as bad as it will always be with Michael Cera (see Arrested Development). This movie does not succeed in any genre whether it be romantic comedy, drama or action. Scott Tobias has a habit of overrating movies, but he gives a good review with "So why, given its moment-to-moment surplus of visual imagination, does the film feel so hollow and unsatisfying?". Also to other amateur reviewers out there who say "I can definitely see how a critic or viewer would give it a low score, because they just don't get it. It doesn't interest them. It's ok! It won my heart". That's exactly what Twilight fans say on Metacritic. I went into this movie expecting something different and amazing like something from Charlie Kaufman, but instead i find a movie with no real plot just doing something random to keep the idiots watching from becoming bored. Oh and in case any of you are ageists, I'm 18 and i love playing video games.

It's hard to describe this movie without spoiling it, however i can say that if you only like serious movies then you might not like this. This movie is the worst of Kaufman's movies, but it is still better than most movies out there.

I think i was expecting too much from this movie. Christopher Nolan and Leonardo DiCaprio just sounded so awesome. The storyline was A LOT less confusing then i had hoped, but the average joe might have a bit of trouble with it. I would say this is his 4th best film and it's one of the best movies to come out this year.

Pathetic...Most of the user comments don't understand what a movie is meant to be. This movie is as good as any video that you can find on Youtube. Bad plot, a slightly funny joke every so often and easily forgotten after 5 minutes. I understand that the movie is only meant to be funny and that it's not meant to be amazing or something that anyone would recommend, but this movie fails at a comedy just like the parody movies that fail such as Meet The Spartans and Scary Movie. Both hated by anyone who knows anything about movies. Listen to the critics, they get paid for a reason.
