Pros: Graphics, story and music. The overall production design is fantastic and it's clear a lot of love went into this. Cons: Repetitive gameplay loop composed of distinct platforming sections broken up with distinct combat sections. Definitely worth playing on Gamepass.

These are the original games in all their glory and with all their flaws with a fresh coat of paint and some quality of life improvements. They were challenging, the controls could be maddening and very unforgiving. I played these back in the day and I'm so happy to have these remastered.

If you're a fan of the original trilogy of movies this fits right in nicely. Much more of a stealth game than I was expecting (and from what we saw in the promotional materials) but it works well. Indy was never a psycho with a huge body count. Everyone should try this out!

I loved it. In many ways it reminds me of Alan Wake 2. Yes there's a lot of walking and a somewhat slower pace, but Hellblade 2 has a fantastic story with fantastic graphics. I prefer a well crafted 6 hour experience to a 30 hour slog like TLOU2.

I really wanted to love this game. I played the original Alan Wake and have played Max Payne, Control and Quantum Break. I'm a fan of Remedy! This should be right up my alley. The pros are the story and graphics. It would make a great TV show. The cons are the game play. It's essentially a walking simulator with occasional combat and some uninteresting point and click nonsense you have to do in Saga's "mind room" and Alan Wake's writer's room. Really tedious.

Love it. The game is about exploration and discovery - it starts slow and the more you play the more the game reveals its secrets. The angry fanboys are tiresome, don't listen to them.

So frustrating. I raged quit tonight after putting in over 100 hours. Not even due to a boss fight. The game is unbalanced in its difficulty. This game is for a tiny subset of gamers. I have a stressful job, I look to games to blow off steam and this game achieved the opposite. I don't even feel accomplished after defeating a boss, just relief. Why would anyone subject themselves to this?

It's exactly what I wanted: Assassin's Creed set in feudal Japan. It's escapist and it's a power fantasy - perfect for these difficult times. And unlike another recent Sony exclusive, it doesn't push some gloomy political or social justice message on the gamer - just a fun and well-polished experience with beautiful graphics and sound design.

I admired the game maker's go for broke attitude in making something this aggressively unpleasant. On the other hand, it wasn't a lot of fun to play and I won't be revisiting it. Imagine Tomb Raider with all the fun drained out of it and with a rotten story piecing it all together and you get an idea of what this game is. Run from one level to the next solving puzzles, killing enemies and engaging in the occasional boss fight. Wash rinse and repeat.

While it sounds interesting on paper, in practice Fallout 76 as a shared universe with PvP combat just doesn't work. I loved Fallout 3 and 4 as well as New Vegas. I loved them in spite of their clunky graphics and less than great gunplay. I loved them because of the bleak, funny story and the chance to get lost in it. Well, Fallout 76 is the clunky gameplay with the great story stripped out and frankly, playing online with other people ****. I barely made it out of Vault 76 when there was some idiot standing their hitting me in the head with a pipe. Where's the fun in that?

I actually created an account just so I could post a review for this game. I can't even say how frustrated and disappointed I am with it. I loved the original Assassin's Creed, and Assassin'c Creed 2 and Brotherhood were masterpieces. Things started to go off the rails for me with Revelations, the game felt rushed and the character models (particularly for Desmond) were just plain weird. So when they announced this game I was a bit nervous since Revelations had seemed like such a rush job. Well, my fears were well founded. This game is a DISASTER. Ubisoft should be sued for releasing such a terrible, unfinished game and should seriously be ashamed to release something this broken and frustrating to play. Connor's story is disjointed and dull and Desmond's story, well, other people have commented what a letdown it was. But mostly it's just more frustrating than fun to play. Too many glitches, too much running around on a horse pressing the B button to get something done and hope you don't get shot. Even combat is grueling. I find myself restarting a checkpoint when I get into combat with a large number of redcoats because it's impossible to win. This game isn't so much a step back was it is a tumble down the cliff. I'll never buy another Assassin's Creed game again.
