A good old school survival horror which pays tribute to RE1 and Silent Hill. Great atmosphere, and good horror action which can at times suffer from maintaining some of the old style elements such as limited inventory. Story is at times confusing and convoluted.
An average FPS modeled on the early survival horror games like Resident Evil. It has some solid foundations but most of the game feels quite clunky, better alternatives out there.
A good spin off from the main series. Fans of the RE series will enjoy this with some return characters and a good blend of survival and action. Worth a look.
A great addition to the series. While not doing anything to revolutionary, an incredibly enjoyable game and blends well with RE7. A must for series fans.
A Half-Life inspired game. It's ok, simple as that. Gunplay is decent and range of weapons is fun. The enemy AI can feel poor and also overpowered at times. Maps and environment feel similar to some Half-Life 2 maps but the overall gameplay and flow can feel frustrating at times.
Found it a grind. Combat is very clunky and I did not find it enjoyable at all. Lacks polish, which is easily forgivable when the core game play is good but this is not.
An interesting game with a strong story revolving around a house and preventing a disaster using time travel. Can feel a tad repetitive at times moving back and forth between events, but still very enjoyable. Worth your time.
A near perfect game. Fantastic world and atmosphere, matched by engaging combat and fantastic characters. An absolote must for fans of RPG and turn based combat.
Amazing story and setting. Looks beautiful and the story is fantastic. I felt the actual action at times was repetitive and the pacing at times was off. Overall an amazing game though.
It's a pretty good entry in to the series. It does feel a little repetitive, and I found after getting 30 odd hours of fun from it games felt a bit of a chore. It's pretty consistent with the series except a few changes, so fans of previous games will likely enjoy.
A good survival horror game taking plenty from RE. Gameplay is an older style, slow and at times a little repetitive. Atmosphere is good and gun play decent enough. Feels nostalgic. Quite short though which is a shame. Well worth it on special.
An interesting concept, you help a besieged army maintain supplies with a mix of building and stealth game play. While at times it's fun, can feel quite repetitive after a short while.
A very sold zombie survival game. Mechanics are solid and plenty of fun to be had to. Not a great deal of depth in terms of story and can feel repetitive after the first play through.
Overall a sold action game. Stunning visually, it has a good story and interesting setting. The action game play starts off fun but it fails to really evolve and can feel repetitive by the end. Worth getting cheap as it is quite short but still worth a play.
A decent game that has a few shortcomings. Becomes repetitive quickly, and once you gain a few skills becomes a bit easy. Interesting premise that just misses the mark.
Fantastic WW2 FPS. Realistic game play and intense combat, the realism puts you right in the moment. Squad tactics and communication a key part of the game, and patience required at times. Worth a play for fans of more realistic shooters.
A good addition to the series. A solid grid dungeon crawler with enjoyable action and some very tough puzzles. The puzzles at times can be frustrating and illogical but with some patience a doable. Combat is fun and multiple different approached. Nothing revolutionary but still worth checking out.
A great action adventure game set in a very interesting world and a strong story. The combat is very enjoyable and has multiple approaches on how to tackle enemies. Sadly some of those are not usable at times when they might be the most fun and the game side quests can feel repetitive. Still well worth playing.
Fantastic game. So simple yet addictive. Progression feels to always be occurring, plenty of secrets and little unlocks a long the way. Before you know you'll have been playing it all week. Nice and cheap too.
On the surface a pretty solid modern FPS. If you are fan of these type of games there is nothing wrong with it and has good enough gameplay. Where it falls down for me is the branding of it being a WW1 game when it's completely ahistorical and really just a WW2 game with some tweaking.
An absolute masterful experience. That being said, it won't be for everyone and do your research beforehand. A great concept, interesting setting and unique mechanics make this a must.
A solid action RPG from Obsidian. While impossible to live up to the hype and expectations from previous games, this is an enjoyable game while maybe missing some of the charm of similar games in the genre. Worth playing, but at times feels forgettable.
A great RPG experience set in an interesting world with a multitude of ways to play. Dialogue can get a little tedious at times but it draws you in and the way you choose to play feels like it can lead you down different paths of the game.
While in some areas showing its age with level design and repetitive areas, the FPS action holds up and story is great. Well worth playing as an introduction to the series.
First Halo game and started with this. Enjoyed the gameplay, short and sharp without feeling repetitive. Great storyline setting up the rest of the series.
Finally a game where your choices actually matter, Not For Broadcast is an FMV game that has a great story and overall is an interesting concept. The game lets you make choices which have impact and result in multiple different endings. The actual broadcast itself is fantastic and engrossing, however a lot of the "mini game" components drag on and at times can distract from the actual content. Still a great game and worth your time.
A solid entry to the series, but for me it falls a little flat. Feels like a chore at times, open world doesn't overall suit the series. Game seems to have a few bugs in the later chapters. Worth playing, but doesn't live up to the series previous entries.
A sold enough railroad simulation game. The actual track building portion of the game in probably the strength. However it feels a little "gamey" at times with a lot of things locked behind research and the overly annoying voice overs. Still worth a look for fans of these type of games.
I enjoyed the cardboard games aspects. Great flavour and atmosphere in that part and has some fun mechanics. Where it gets dragged down for me is the combat. After a little while it feels repetitive and clunky. Still worth playing.
Amazing game that will keep you occupied for hours. I only played Story mode which was a great experience. While at times it had some frustrating missions that felt like filler the amazing world and city built around this is fantastic and worth your time.
Brilliant game. Not everyone's cup of tea, but has plenty of depth for those looking and is basic enough on the top layer to not have to steep of a learning curve. Before you know it it's been 3 days. Well worth playing.
A great little sim city style game about developing a colony on Mars. Plenty of depth and replay ability. Well worth your time and has different challenges and scenarios to keep you interested.
Great game. Gameplay mechanics are innovative and interesting. With enough varied options to keep you interested and experimenting throughout. Story was a little confusing at times but interesting none the less. Well worth your time.
Having never played the original, and playing this right after RE2 Remake it fell a little short. Solid enough game play and settings, however didn't quite hit the mark as well as RE2
As mentioned by many, Papers Please style game in an interesting setting. Looks great if a fan of the style, gameplay is ok at the start as is the story but fast becomes repetitive and bit of a chore to get through.
A solid 4x game for those who have the time and can get in to the finer details of it. Some improvements on the first and for fans of space exploration, settling the galaxies and fighting aliens it's a good time.
Fantastic remake that sticks to the plot of the original, setting and story while making enough modern enhancements so it feels like a new game. This is how you recreate a classic. A must play for fans of the series.
Overall great rogue-lite game. You feel progress slowly unlocking new items and skills. Feels very difficult to start but once you start making progress in the game it feels great. Probably 20-30 hours until it starts to feel a little grindy but well worth playing.
Really enjoyed the story and setting. Not much to do gameplay wise, as people have said its kind of a walking simulator. However I still enjoyed the characters, relationships and story. Quite short and left me wanting more.
I found this to be an overall average game. Very repetitive with an overall uninteresting story. Combat is good enough but skill trees are fairly static. If you enjoy the grind might be worth trying.
Had a great time with this. Interesting story with a blend of intense and funny moments. Great action and enough varying mechanics to keep you interesting. Worth playing.
GTA very lite. Has solid basic mechanics but the missions feel very uninspired and boring. After a couple of hours felt like I had explored all the mechanics and had my fun. If you can get it dirt cheap still worth a little play.
