The community in this game is a disgusting pile of trash. Incredibly toxic. And the devs do not do anything about it. So they are supporting the most toxic community in video game history. The average player ive come across sits in the corner and drools on their math test and writes on in "2+2=72925". With this little iq in players even simple boss mechanics are unplayable. Dont touch this piece of toxic trash!

Damn you Blizzard. Let me play the game the way I want and with the addons I want.

Assassin's Creed Shadows3

A generally good game with a lot of downsides. While this game on its own would deserve a rateing of 8 or even 9 there is a reason, why I am only ranking it at 3/10 anyways.
First of all the graphics look good if you look away from floating trees or objects. The story is decent. Most of all the housing system is fun.
But: The world feels in many parts barren and empty. The fact that you cant climb mountains only extends the game artificially as you have to go around now to reach your destination - but this is maybe also to hide the empty spaces in between. The sneak gameplay is okay but amongst the worse of the series (enemies spawn out of nowhere, assassinations get shown to kill an enemy but dont work, and so on...). The housing system is very fun but I personally would have wished for some more decorations (benches, stalls, town objects, ...) and an expandable building space. Worst of all: The game is filled to the brim with bugs. While it is fun to play in wide stretches the bugs break the immersion and most of the time leave you behind frustrated and annoyed. If the big pile of bugs gets fixed (or at least most of them) I might come back and change my review. But for now its a game thats suffering with its lack of polish and is destroyed by bugs - which is incredibly frustrating as ubisoft postponed the launch twice to polish the game (which seemingly never happened)...

The game is a blast! Cleaning the scenes which all feel different and prove to be challenging was very fun.
I only wished the games was a bit longer. But the devs announced free updates with challenge modes and more maps (which are taking quite a while seemingly though...). If they actually get released and are good this game could be a 9/10.

Monster Hunter Wilds2
Mar 10, 2025
I was very hyped for this entry to the monster hunter series. But the hype did not live up to the reality. The game is less intuitive and clear in terms of mechanics (where to get supplies, spread out camps with different functions, ...) then previous games. This is not making the game better / more difficult but just rather tedious.
The overall difficulty in the game is dissappointingly low. Even tempered endgame hunts are just boring and easy.
The hit detection - both of players and monsters - is questionable.
Lastly for a game which has the only purpose of hunting monsters these monsters are designed poorly. Not in terms of visuals but in terms of movement. They spin around right on a spot, glide through areas, ... All in all the monsters dont feel like they are "actually there" and "have a body". If you watch bigger animals they need some space to turn around for example. These physical limitations of a body didnt make it to the game. For some monsters (lala bahrina for example) all of this is even worse then for other ones. Lala Bahrina also lacks proper hit feedback. Lastly I want to adress, what capcom did about a farm method that was initially in the game: Players could abuse a material and trade it in for weapon parts and gems. Sure this was an abuse and not intended and got nerfed. BUT: Lets think this through: The players who are actually "good" and quick with the story and dont struggle in the first place have fully kitted out characters now. The players who are slower, struggeling in general and who would get some progress out of this in the first place get punished because they cant use it. Its another case that shows you, the devs dont care for "casual" players anymore and actually kind of reward you for skipping the story (which was really bad and boring anyways). I got my weapon parts and gems like this after i finished all of the story and its just great to hunt now and not have to bother with rewards but actually being able to hunt the monsters I have fun in hunting. Its just the fact that stuff like this is happening in all games nowerdays. Either fix stuff like this >pre< Release or leave it in - but dont punish slower or more casual players. All in all I was very tempted to give the game just a 0 or 1 rating, but the graphics were okay and some monsters (rathian, rathalos, odogaron) were fun to hunt. On the other hand its very obvious, that only "repeat" monsters are actually enjoyable. The new ones dont feel nearly as polished and good.

Absoluter Trash-Release

Meh. The story is boring, the new masteries feel pointless. The maps are okay. A lot of the new stuff was bugged heavily from the beginning on. WhatI am most disappointed about is the bad take on a housing system. I was excited to build a homestead, but left quickly as its a huge material sink (which wouldnt even be bad) but its also heavily timegated. Plus the controls in the homestead are just horrible. I am sorry arenanet, Ive played the game for over 15k hours. But after the letdown with soto the next bad expension follows. I stopped playing - even though it breaks my heart to leave my characters behind.

What seemed strong in the patchnotes turned out to be bad. The expansion has a short and mediocer written storyline. The new class - as to be expected - is broken and totally overtuned. The reworks with the paragon system are both nice and still bad. Shared paragon levels make it more easy to play multiple characters but take away time that you would need to put in the game and that keeps you playing. Like this I reached paragon 300 in a week, equipped 3 characters - ancient gear, uber uniques, masterworks - and now what? There is nothing more to do until the next season starts. If the game keeps only delivering content, that keeps you playing for one week or a maximum of two weeks every few months with a new season its not worth playing at all. Season 8 edit:
The game gets worse and worse with every ongoing season. This season tops it all. Bosses nerfed so you need to put in 4 times the work for about the same loot you got before. Battlepasses contain about a third of the items from before for the same price... This game is really getting worse by the minute.

Bugs without end... Some things could be fun but when you stumble from one bug to another... well... lets say this is not release quality but this is ****. Edit:I wanted to give it another shot and play a little - unlock weapon camos and what not. But at the current state most weapon camos are bugged and not counted. Activision should offer a refund for a game this bad!
Furthermore I must add a warning for potential scam in the ingame shop: It happend to me twice now, that I bough something in the ingame shop and did not recieve all items from the packages bought. Activision support does not even try to help with the issues but just closes the tickets after you send in video evidence and screenshots of the purchase as they want. SCAM WARNING - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING IN THE STORE

Guild Wars 2 : Secrets of the Obscure0
Aug 24, 2023
Soto is bland, short and boring... But lets go a little into details. First discuss, what I liked about the expansion: Good now that we talked about "all of that", lets talk about negatives: The expansion feels like a trial to how little arenanet has to put out for the same amount of money so players are still buying the expansion. The story was short and the storytelling mediocre. In the past where we got 4-5 zones + living world for our expansions money, we just get two zones (a third on the horizon) this time around. The new masteries feel pointless and unintuitive, the new metas and rifthunting are not rewarding at all so I guess they die out in a week or two. The new daily system could be ok, but being forced to do a set of objectives rather then being able to pick ruins that one as well for me. But hey at least the rewards are balanced: 5 Minutes work on each of my alt accounts and I was able to funnel more then 75 gold from each of them to my main account - nice! The zones are designwise... One is a reuse of old assets, the other bright as if you threw a flashbang through the monitor - so both just a pile of trash as well. The new strikes were so boring I almost fell asleep doing them... So to sum it up: Arenatnet made every possible mistake and made the expansion the worst possible experience. My advice: Wait if it ever goes on sale for like 10 bucks - thats really already more then the expansion is worth

Diablo IV3

I am really dissappointed by what the game turned out to be. From the first announcements of the new title to the diablo series onwards I was very hyped. Whatever we saw looked promising. Now we got our hands on the game and what is to say? The gameplay is slow and tedious - you dont get in a real "flow" with the characters as it was possible in diablo 3. Furthermore the game is very prone to bugs. I have not played for that long but I have seen it all: Horses run into invisible walls and are unable to move, movement skills bug you out of the map, enemies are bugged out of the map, in dungeons for "kill" objectives there are just not enough enemies in the dungeon... I could continue the list on and on and on. It feels almost like blizzard never playtested their own game. The further you get into the game the more bugs are there as well - so by the end of the story and while doing the endgame be ready to be frustrated. The open world aspect seemed promising, but is a real turnoff for me. I'd rather like to play on my own. Worldbosses and events are a nice idea, but given how many players are afk during these events and just scale them up... It's annoying - please just let me play on my own and cut this source of annoyment out. The shop... I dont even say much to this... 25 bucks for a skin in a game I already payed a full price for... No! This is common practice nowerdays, but players just should not accept this behaviour from developers... The story was okay. Nothing new but boring and really just stretched out in some parts... All in all d4 looked promising but is boring, slow, feels old and bugged. Maybe get it somewhen if it maybe drops to a price around 20 bucks - because its definetly not worth 70.

Mostly a fun game. Although the gluie-stick-arm feels really stupid as Links "superpower". In Addition 6 years waiting for this game is simply too long. The game is filled to the brim with bugs and just interruptive and bad enemy design. When playing you feel far more anger than fun. Riddles are nice but thats not the point **** of war game. The characters are bland and annoying. To justify a "part 2" the equipment gets stuffed with new "pseudo pieces" that feel just unneccessary. The game in of itself is a big step back from its awesome first part.

The story was somewhat enjoyable, but we are waiting for something new for so long now. Pretty much sure to say the game is dead. Even though they announced a new living world series and next addon right with the launch of this expansion, there is nothing to be seen of this promise. But well if the quality of ingame content keeps spiralling downwards - as it did since launch of the basegame - its for the better to let the game die out in peace. Want to love the game and cherish the roughly 15.000 hours I put into it but sadly cant anymore. Even as a long year veteran I need to say "stay away from Guildwars 2" at this point....

I want to hate the game solely for the amount of greed Blizzard has put into it - Battlepass, Skins costing 19 bucks... But I do not need to hate it for this reason because the game alone is enough reason to be hated. The balancing changed - a lot! Well lets not call it balancing. Because balancing is what Blizzard wrote on a piece of paper, burned it and shot its ashes to jupiter. And even that last bit of ashes on Jupiter is closer to balancing then the actual gameplay. The game is extremely bad coded - it crashes all the time. Thats a problem with screen resolution most likely but still. Can play in 16:9 with ultra settings but not on a widescreen with minimum settings because the game keeps crashing after roughly 15 seconds in game - and you guessed correctly: The crash is entirely my fault and I see why I should get a -75% exp punishment for that. Ohh lets talk a bit more about technical mistakes: The login queue... I've spent multiple rendititions of 30 minutes waittime, just to be greeted with an error message, about how the servers couldnt establish a connection and I would be put back at the end of queue... All in all: If this was an indie game it would maybe be a 3/10 - but from a multi-billion-dollar company I expect a little more. The gameplay is bland, the engine and technology implemented badly and worst of all in the eyes of Blizzard we are no more then "money-mules" that need to deposit their funds. All gamers should stand together here and no longer touch any product by Blizzard until the day, where Blizz actually puts out a good game with reasonable pricing!
