New maps and new story. Get a full year of updates and none of that login fomo like the old living world seasons.

My least favorite Expansion so far. Mostly because of the smaller size of the package, new quarterly additions (which are hard to rate, since you forgot most of what happened before storywise) and the overall story direction. It seems quite newbie friendly, yet it can*t quite convice with the maps: they feel a little empty. Story of the main part was interesting at first but ended weak imo. This expansion brought a very good contentsystem: the convergences. Those are a strong addition to the game. Freedom of weapon choice is also useful. Yet this is not the expansion I would recommend to start with because of the weaker story pull and average maps. All in all an OK product, but low prio.

The initial content release was okay, story felt a little rushed but in general a decent experience. However, Playing this live through the post release patches was miserable.
