Really liked the 3rd Jordan Peel movie, it might not be his best, but his standards are amazingly high. It has strange twist and turns all the way to the end. It reminded me most of Jaws and has a lot of elements from the classic shark movie.

Eggers is quickly becoming one of my favorite instructors. Northman picks up where the Lighthouse ended. And Northman is a visual bombardment of the senses and just stunning to look at. Story is fairly simple, but that does not stopping this rollercoaster ride. It is definitely not for everyone, but if you liked (loved) the Lighthouse and just great film making, this is a must see.

This is not a movie for everyone and I understand why some are finding it boring and nonsencical. It reminded me of the Lighthouse (which I loved). The Green Knight is not a good as the Lighthouse, but the setting and feeling and very similar. Green Knight is a very beautiful movie but it is also very "arty". Dev Patel does a great job playind Gawain and the rest of the cast are also good. A very unusual fantasy movie.

Not my cup of tea. The first 30-40 minutes are good, and really like how the future arrives in our present time. But the drafting of soldiers is nonsense, the last part is so predictable and Chris Pratt doesnt really seem interested. By the way alien design is cool.

I really enjoyed the first movie and it took me by surprise, so I was really looking forward to Peninsula. The trailer looked cool and I was hoping for an Carpenter - Escape from New York feeling to it, but that was not to be the case... In the first movie, there was a continous feeling of horror and that everything could go wrong in the next scene. This time that feeling is never present and i predicted every survivor and which character that would survive 30 minutes in. Action is plentiful but the use od cgi is underwhelming and especially the car chases are just plain stupid.

The cinematopgraphy is the only positive thing about “The Prom” it is at least 30 mins to long. It looks like Corden and Streep had a lot of fun making it, but I thought it is pretty dull. The story is almost nonexsistent and even the very 2021 theme of having the right to choose your own sexuality, is not very well used. If you need a musical, that is both funny, storydriven and a great watch, I recommend seeing “Everybody says I love you” instead.

I did not know what I was in for when I started to watch US. First I thought this might be a comedy, but that soon changed. I would highyly recommend that you know as little as possible about this movie, when you watch it. Actors are all brilliant and the pictures are beautifull. Jordan Peels attention to detail is what makes US in to an instant classic, and not far from being a masterpiece in the genre.

I grew up with the original 3 movies and they all blew me away. I had never seen anything like them. The 3 next, not so much. I had high hopes for the final 3, but they failed to deliver. Rise of Skywalker seems like a series of random encounters, and when the plot would not work, they just said "hey we can just get Leia og Lukes ghost to fill the plothole". Script / story is almost nonexsistent, and even though i dont expect SW to have the deepest og best plot, this is sometimes painful to watch. So i is SW dead... No I still have hope (in the force) and I think that the Mandalorian is a lot better than the new trilogy.

I absolutely loved all the funny references to other Marvel movies, and the jokes regarding time travel are hilarious. The plot is poor, effects are ok (but nothing more) and the overall impression is that this is just garbage. The first 30 minutes are irrelevant and could easyli have been edited out, without and effect on the movie. Many times they do not follow up on earlier scenes and things just happen for no reason what so ever. And without spoiling anything…. Are they afraid of sailing…. Netflix really needs to step up.
