If anything, Bethesda games usually guarantee hundreds of hours of fun and exploration. Starfield is no exception and takes that to the next level by adding different planets and ship building to the mix. I have been playing it non stop since the release and still can't wait to hop back into it anytime I am occupied by something else. The insane scale of this game is something you really need to experience yourself. Even after playing it for over a hundred hours by now, I still keep on experiencing new things. The introduction is actually not as long as people say it is. In my opinion, the vast amount of distractions (as in things to do) is most likely what causes that. My advice is to just keep playing. The game really does get better and better everytime you do. Graphically it is hit or miss. Some things look amazing whilst others could use some more polish. But, I don't mind given how massive the game is. And.. honestly when you play, you barely even notice those things anyway. You will be too busy doing mission, exploring, mining, ship building, base building and a lot more. It is so hard to review this without spoilers since there is so many things going on in the game. All I can say is; believe me when I say that anyone rating this game 7 or lower has most likely not played the game much if at all. Don't let it scare you off. Buy the game, you won't regret it.

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life

In a world where feel good farm sims are not a niche anymore, A Wonderful Life doesn't do enough to stand out. I noticed from the beginning that there is no challenge at all to anything in the game. Farming speaks for itself, raising animals couldn't be more easy, fishing is nothing more than pressing a single button, mining is also nothing more than pressing a single button and there is barely anything to explore. The world is extremely small, even for these kinds of games. I really want to like this game but it sadly just bores me. For a beginner in this genre it might not be a bad start, but for experienced players this game offers nothing interesting. There are better options out there, even from the same franchise!

I will keep it short: This is basically Uncharted 2 or 3 with less action. The grapple hook is a useless addition that only works in specific areas and the swinging looks very iffy. Vehicles controls are terrible. Enemy encounters are incredibly predictable, so are the "oh the stone I am holding while climbing breaks off" moments. Most of the time you will be mindlessly walking around in a very linear level that feels devoid of life. The other 50 percent of the time you will be watching cut scenes. If you really want to experience Uncharted, go play part 2 or 3 on PS3. Graphically it is underwhelming too. The characters look great, but the world design is nothing special. Finally, the PC version keeps crashing about once an hour.

The game is a take back to the old school shooters like Doom and Quake. It definitely got a lot of inspiration from Doom itself. The shooting, level design and secrets could have easily been taken out of that game. One thing that I disliked is the graphical style. It might sound strange, but I prefer the original pixelated style of Doom over this. The levels and characters just look a bit bland as if they came straight from the early years of 3D gaming. Not sure if that is the style that the developer went for, just not really my thing. Other than that it is a fun little game to go through. Nothing special, just fun to play and easy to pick up.

Terrible Candy Crush ripoff that literally got stuck in the very first game I played. One of the gems got stuck in between 2 others and the whole field couldn't move anymore. Also absolutely horrible touchscreen response. I clearly swipe up and the game swipes left. Just avoid this one. If a developer can't even make a match 3 game, they are not worth your time.

This game might not be for everyone, but for the target audience it is aimed for it is a masterpiece. It's really hard to get my head around the fact that a single person made this whole game. It might be easy to judge the pixelated style these days with all the graphical violence that current day systems can produce but the game oddly drags you into it once you start playing. You won't even notice it's graphical style anymore since you are too busy farming, exploring and mining. I loved every second of playing this game and can only recommend others to do so too.

This game is a huge disappointment. Basically just Quantum Break with an arguably worse and vague story. Never managed to even spark my interest in the slightest and even after playing for 8+ hours the game hardly makes any sense at all. Characters are uninspired and boring to the point I didn't even bother remembering names. There is no option to change the difficulty and the game is filled with cheap deaths. You cannot save from the menu but need to go to 'control points'. And when you die you will be greeted with a long loading screen that usually spawns you back quite some distance from the point you need to be. The game has major texture loading issues and physics that go haywire from time to time. My advice would be to stay away from this game and enjoy Quantum Break. Better story, better gameplay, more settings and to my opinion looks better (on One X) too. Don't trust popular review websites on this one. It will probably burn you.

What was supposed to give me a relaxing and laid back time quickly turned into a lot of frustration. The game is pretty basic which is fine. It tries to be Animal Crossing but is far from it. Even that I can forgive if the game would just be playable.. I started 2 games (saves) and had to quit both of them because the game just completely glitched out. The most random glitches keep happening at the most random moments in this game. Sometimes characters just glitch out and can't give you quests anymore (it literally says 'test' then), other times you just can't remove certain tree stumps but then you can after going in and out of your house, other times the game just randomly levels you up 3 times in a row, other times quests just don't complete... and the list goes on an on. They should be ashamed that they released the game in this state. It had potential but the bugs and glitches just completely ruin the fun. Don't waste your money on this garbage, unfinished product. This whole practice of releasing unfinished games should really stop and we should not buy crap like this. It could have been a nice and relaxing game if the developers actually bothered to finish it and test it for bugs. Now it's just a lottery every single time you play because you never know when the game will glitch out on you.

Absolute garbage collection. Nothing more than a quick cash grab that doesn't do much else but increase the resolution. Even on Xbox One X the textures are often very unsharp and muddy. Just play the original ones on pc for a similar experience but much cheaper. Oh and, you can't even take screenshots, screen recordings or stream the games on consoles. This is literally the only time I experienced that and even after all these years the developers still didn't bother to fix that. As stated before: just a quick cash grab, not worth your money.

For now I cannot rate this game higher than a 6 out of 10. The reasons for this are the bugs the game contains especially regarding the dog. Often the dog runs into a place where it gets stuck effectively killing the whole game. Either you need it to show you the way or show you were an enemy or object is which it then doesn't do anymore, resulting in you getting killed or getting stuck in that part of the level. Trying to pet your dog in those situations often results in the game locking your character into place. This all happened to me 5 times in one day while playing the game forcing me to restart from an earlier save. Aside from that the graphics on Xbox One X are far from great. Right from the start it kind of felt like I was playing an Xbox 360 game instead of an Xbox One X game. The world is littered with very low quality textures and low polygon models. That would be no problem if it had any kind of benefit on the games performance but it doesn't. The game still targets 30fps which it regularly fails to maintain. Framedrops are a common thing while playing making for an inconsistent experience. This is all a shame because the game has a lot of potential. Now it feels like one of those (many) games this generation that was released in an unfinished state. Once they patch the bugs out and give the game some visual optimizations, it can be a lot more pleasant to play through. The story is nice and the game has a nice (but sometimes predictable) horror atmosphere.

I bought this game with the idea that it would be the 3 original games with new graphics, sadly it is not. For whatever reason the developer found the need to completely change the games jumping mechanics, control sensitivity and hitbox detection making them frustratingly hard at times. Before this remake I used to enjoy Crash Bandicoot games, now after finishing all 3 of the remakes, the idea of playing them again gives me a headache. My rating would have been different if the developer actually listened to the feedback of fans and changed the N sane trilogy back to how the originals played, but they didn't and even defended these horrible controls. Yes, it is doable to beat the game but it is absolutely not fun at all and has been one of the most frustrating game experiences I had in my life. If you love Crash Bandicoot games and liked the originals, think twice before buying this.

This game came as a total surprise to me. I came across it in the Xbox Gamepass library and decided to give it a go. What I did not expect was this game to then go on and consume hours upon hours of my days. Once you start the game grabs you and continues to motivate you to keep on doing tasks and expand your 'home'. The social aspect of the game could have been a bit more fleshed out and a dozen or so hours into the game it might become a bit repetitive but not enough to ruin the fun. It is a nice and colorful world that is fun to explore. If there is anything to nag about it is probably the animal/monster design. Somehow it feels completely out of place. But for what it's worth, the loot they drop makes sense. Definitely a fun and addictive game to play!

After playing Fifa for quite some time a few years back I wanted to get back into a football game and stumbled across this game in Xbox Gamepass. After playing it for a short while I immediately noticed unresponsive controls, plain stupid team mates (AI), a horrible referee and on top of it all during the first 2 runs of the game it actually managed to crash my whole Xbox. Re-installing did not fix anything. If a developer can't even code a game to just work normally then I am not motivated to even try the rest of the game.
