This game is a work of art, the soundtrack fits well with the world war 2 setting and the sound design is magnificent. the guns sound like they pack a punch and are satisfying to use. The campaign was also really good and was action packed, i was barely bored for the entire thing. Not to mention the Easter eggs such as the ray gun you can get on one of the missions. Now for the multiplayer, it's incredibly fun, the maps are great and are designed in a way that makes them fun to pew pew on. Last but not least, the zombies mode, this was the beginning of something great. The maps they made were perfect for a creepy style of game mode. The detail in the maps is just ungodly, from the screaming noises on verruckt to ambiance in others they are great. The concept of shooting zombies and surviving waves upon waves of the undead on these 4 maps. Its amazing how something that started as a project for fun turned into something people craved playing. Thanks treyarch.

May 22, 2023
Call Of Duty: Black Ops has strongly taken the Call Of Duty Series to new heights and is a critically acclaimed successful video game that is indisputably unmatched by any first-person shooter video game. Simply an outstanding video game. Call Of Duty: Black Ops tried things that had never been seen in a Call Of Duty Story before and this was genuinely a good thing to do. The story is very complicated and confusing to be honest and the story jumps back and forth in it's timeline and brings in some confusing twists. Despite this, the story has some really epic and amazing moments that are well executed and constructed to give off a strong sense of reality and accuracy. The story is lengthy unlike the previous games such as Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which is really good, and the story features an amazing and finely picked cast of individuals and characters that contribute to the experience and quality of the game. The gameplay hasn't changed too much from it's predecessor Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and is pretty much the same thing with minor changes and fixes. There are more guns and unique weapons such as the crossbow which is really good. The gameplay works well as usual, the controls are easy to use and no issues or major problems here. Call Of Duty: Black Ops has insane graphics that have slightly improved from the previous game, the graphics are sharper, smoother and look stunning in every mission. The game has 3 Playable Protagonists that are silent when you play as them but the other 2 you don't play as is a character that accompanies you in missions. The voice acting in Call Of Duty: Black Ops is excellent and features the voices of Celebrities such as Ice Cube and Gary Oldman. Call Of Duty: Black Ops has a superb soundtrack that fits the gameplay so nicely and immerse the player in the experience that Call Of Duty offers. The attention to detail in this game is outstanding and raises the expectations for other games in 2010. Environments are accurately structured and the detail in each mission is incredible, really good job by Treyarch here. The game is so full of life, detail, excellence and pure quality. Simply the best that Call Of Duty have offered so far. Despite it's confusing story, Call Of Duty: Black Ops is a video-game success that has carried on the superiority of the Call Of Duty Series. This game is a breathtaking masterpiece and has to go down as one of the best First Person Shooters of all time. An unmissable experience that you must see.

As a longtime Skyrim fan and player, I always noticed the NPCs sometimes talking about or mentioning characters or events from Oblivion. So when I got Oblivion for my 14th birthday recently, this game exceeded my expectations. I absolutely love the character costumization, because they let you go crazy with it. The characters are much more lovable, especially Martin Septim and Lucien Lachance. I love the open world, the soundtrack is both beautiful and emotional, and overall, Oblivion has this kind of Elder Scrolls magic that Skyrim lacks completely. This game is, by far, the BEST game I have ever played, and I highly recommend it.

This review is in response to the galaxy brain take from Benjamin Kukkee below. Oblivion was released fifteen (15!!!) years ago. If you are comparing a 15 year old video game to a AAA title from 2021, that's on you, not the developer. That's like comparing a first gen Nokia 3310 to an iphone 12, and then complaining about how much the Nokia ****. Technology has advanced exponentially. Duh. It's obvious this person played the game for several minutes and rage quit because they weren't doing well. Lockpicking is laughably easy and you can buy lockpicks from the Thieves Giild (a quest line they obviously didn't do) or from a vendor who hangs out outside the Imperial City walls. You also literally find them everywhere with random loot? I never had a shortage on any of my playthroughs. The minigame to improve NPCs disposition toward you is also incredibly easy. And this business about an unreachable tower? I guarantee there is a path to it if you had the patience to find it. You think you discovered a bug that no one else has in 15 years? Not likely. Also, Bethesda has made quite a few games since 2006 and continues to do so. Unless you're writing this review from the distant past. In which case, buy Google Stock! Oblivion has the reputation it does for a reason. Solid game play, awesome quests, and at the time of release beautiful graphics. (The graphics are potatoes by 2021 standards, but so is every game from 15 years ago. Go look at Tomb Raider Legend from the same year.) There are some unique mechanics too. I still wish they would bring back spellcrafting like we had in Oblivion. It was sorely missed in Skyrim by many of us. There are quest lines from Oblivion that still have an emotional impact on me. The first time I got to That Part of the Dark Brotherhood? Gut wrenching! The fate of Martin Septim? He was too good for this world. Does the game have flaws and glitches? You bet. So does every game. I wish folks could go back and play Oblivion when it was new so they could understand how great it was at the time. I replay occasionally for nostalgia (it's a comfort game) but I know it's dated as heck. So is Super Mario Bros. So are all the old gen games we go to great trouble to play on emulators and the like. Adjust your expectations and enjoy it for what it is. And when you see him, tell Uncle Sheo I sent you

What can I say, this game gets so much hate for it's campy dialogue and out of touch comedy. But it couldn't be farther from the truth about what makes this game so amazing, set aside the fact that there still isn't an RPG with 500+ armor sets and variations of weapons, at the time, for us westerners, you had 2 choices: Oblivion ~ Two Worlds, and while I can easily say they were both great games for there times, Two Worlds had Internet & LAN multiplayer.. and if I have to explain why a couch co-op, funny speech RPG is fun to play with an IRL friend, then there truly isn't any hope for Antaloor. Obviously 2023 standards its ages poorly but back in the day when i played this, it was good! Long Live GANDOHAR!

Not to mention a rich environment/landscape to traverse with ruins and caves to discover. Loads to discover and hours of gameplay to sink your teeth into so you will definitely get your money's worth especially with special edition adding all dlc.. not to mention the choice to add mods and creation club to open the game up even more. You really do feel immersed in the world of Skyrim as you progress into the story and side quests. Yeah there's bugs and glitches but this adds a certain character and asthetic to the world which is why I love it even more. This is a must have in the games collection for avid RPG and fantasy fans!

This game for ME in my OPINION is an absolute headache to follow and piece together the little side missions, there is an overload of reading to do in a very messy info system and it can quickly become an overwhelming bore and frustration. If you loved the dishonored series like I did and enjoyed playing any of those then you’ll feel right at home here mechanically speaking it’s fantastic fun especially on the PS5 with the dual sense getting head shots with a silenced pistol feels sensational PUN intended and if you want you can play all the way through without doing all that other side stuff and just kill the visionaries which is nice but if I’m being completely honest it is EXTREMELY EASY I’ve only ever died by a turret I missed and or got to close to without overriding it before slipping into a fight but other than that it’s just dishonored with guns added and the inherent deathloop feature the enemies are mediocre and the visionaries are no joke an absolute cake walk. Figuring out all the side quest stuff though and doing the whole time of day and location thing is significantly more challenging than getting through the game itself and fumbling through the menu and overload of information there is to digest is a bit to much back and fourth for me. Overall the game is fun but for me it’s one I can only tolerate in small doses here and there before I find myself either to frustrated trying to figure out a side quest or just becoming seriously bored mostly because of the side quests. Side note: the game is also beautiful I absolutely love the world design, the colors and settings it’s my opinion that it is absolutely gorgeous especially the beach you reset to after dying

Even 8 years later, this game is easily one of the best that you can buy. Whilst GTA Online has gone in a direction I don't like - and wouldn't really recommend in engaging very much with to complete newcomers by this stage - I can't ignore that it still has thousands of hours to offer players across a variety of different activities - there's something for everyone in GTA Online and it will also make them money whilst they're at it. Single Player is also undeniably a brilliant experience. Even though it will take you a while to get through to the end of the story, there's really no excuse for not playing it through at least once. A lot of us have got a bit tired of this game in the many years since it's original release, but from an objective point of view, even if this game released for the very first time this year, it would still be one of the best video games ever made and blow us all away. The driving is much easier than GTA 4, literally anyone can be a decent driver in GTA 5 unless you have brain damage, but I guess it makes it more accessible, lol. Shooting is also much improved and is high quality, and those two elements combined with many others, including but not limited to the excellent map, make this game a perfect sandbox.

Playing the remake on xbx It gets super repetitive. I'm at the "get to the coal mine" on episode 3, and I'm just getting bored, and at this point, want it to be over already. The Positives: Pretty cool story, and voice acting. Looks decent, graphically. The surroundings and environment, are beautiful. Some tense moments. Decent cut-scenes, and I like the fact his stamina runs out pretty quickly, and you need to pace yourself. The Negatives: You lose everything you collect, (ammo, guns, flash bangs, batteries, flares, etc..) after every damn cut-scene, almost. So basically you're starting fresh, randomly. Horrible design flaw. Camera angle constantly switches to 'over the left shoulder' view. You can switch back, but in seconds while running, or just exploring, it automatically veers right back to 'over the left shoulder' view. Rinse/Repeat gameplay. They'll throw in more enemies to make it "challenging" so when you do die, you have to try and solve the best dilemma possible and it just gets frustrating and not fun anymore. Scavenging for more **** just lose it all later. Controls are a bit janky at times.

I’ll be going on my fourth run just to get the trophies that I haven’t achieved yet, but still in love with this game. It’s never a bore always end up wishing there was more lol that’s how much fun it is! I absolutely love the story line. How it all fits together. The boss fights are insane! The map is honestly my favorite of how big and open it is! Beautiful details to each and everything in the game made possible. I love how all four bosses have a different story to them in their own unique way. I jump every time I play. It’s still scary for me, but I enjoy it!

In the next installment of Master Chiefs journey across the galaxy, as you hit ground on Zeta **** just feels different. 343 industries has hit the jackpot on this one. From an absolutely compelling story centered on strategy and longevity, if you can show restrain from running through the campaign you will be rewarded with side missions, and other activities that are each unique and story compelling. As you navigate the newest ring, you'll find that gameplay is overall smooth(I even had it on my turd of a console -A day one Xbox One X- rather than a Series X) and with the fresh new set of abilities for Chief to master. You'll find these new gadgets suited to assist you in synergy with the others constantly throughout the campaign. The addition of mini-bosses, and end of level bosses adds a personal touch to each segment of the game as you feel rewarded for persevering through to exhaust the seemingly infinite foe in front of you. Adding further to the each new game will be unique aspect, as you climb further up the difficulty list that end mission boss fight feels that much sweeter after ripping through hordes of mixed and intelligent enemies. And for the enemies themselves the new and returning enemies we have come to know have been kicked up q notch with voice acting for each and every type of enemy and ally in the game. Creating scenario specific dialog you may not get without a little creativity, further adding to its campaign replayablitiy. The finest Halo i have personally seen since I overused my poor Halo Reach copy so many years ago. With faith restored in 343 to make a great and compelling game I look forward to years of advancement on Halo Infinite and its inevitable and expected sequel. I love this game, it’s the best racing game I’ve ever played. I’m a true blue Scotsman so when I play most racing games the environments are unfamiliar, but with this game I’m at home and I’m familiar with everything, I only wish the map included the whole of Australia but I feel the map gave you a bit of everything australia has to offer. I only wish I could drive around Uluru in a Lamborghini or drive a Ferrari through Melbourne. The graphics in this game are a 10/10 there are stunning, the cars look as real as you can make them in a video game, the environment look like Australia not a cheap knockoff. The sounds are amazing, each car has its own distinct sound and when you on dirt, sand of road it all sounds different. Each car also has different handling, like driving a Lamborghini on the road is easy but if I take it off-road all hell breaks loss or if I have a rally car it loves the dirt and sand, can’t get enough of them it performs so well, when I take it on the road not so much. This game also accomodates to all different types of players, like if you like drifting you can drift you heart out, if you like road racing you can do that, if you like racing in the outback you can do that (I’m a rally champion) I’ve finished all five showcases and I have barely finished the game, this game will keep you entertained for lots and lots of hours!!! I think I’m addicted I can’t stop playing it

Red dot flashes - Time to deflect. That sums the game up. It is a poor version of Sekiro and a slap on the face of Nioh2. It's a fun game - for about 10 hours. Mechanics are horrible. No option to change running option from l3 on controller. I can feel the l3 on pain on my thumb and a wearing controller. In a fast paced game you have no options to change the controls which could have been done better like nioh. They did no do that or give that option as they did not want it to look like a copy paste. No warehouse options, magic is weak and spells last a few seconds. Moral system of the game is busted. Everytime a new chapter begins they want you to fight the common enemies first. It's their way of saying you cannot rush to the boss. Flashy redights become an eyesore, constant companion system takes away fun from the game, spells are a lesser version of earlier games, weapons are not 10 or 12 but essentially around 6 with the rest having same movements. It deserves a half price- about 30 dollars which is the worth. Invasion **** with no rewards and a unbalanced system. Online co-op takes ages to summon as I think they have grouped players into timezones. For a new game the co-op is resting or just waiting. No options to change or select which chapter I want to co-op in. No storehouse, No new spells unless Earth is your spells to choose. Bosses are forgettable except Lu Bu. It seems a copy and paste of years of junk collected.. No intricate mechanics to adjust or reshape your character traits like nioh2. It's a kiddy game where your weapon, attire, spells actually don't matter. Just deflect and press square... and keep pressing on that l3 button till your thumbs go numb. Wait for a sale and enjoy the game. You will get bored quickly. It's fun but not for the price it is sold at. Lastly I am seeing a pattern in most famous souls like you tubers. They have started hiding from genuine feedback to there subscribers. Most of these guys has jobs and now have become full time you tubers. They are just pushing content now. Not a single honest opinion or feedback from any tuber about the drawbacks of the game. I still thank Team Ninja for giving a free Demo so we could decide to buy. Ghostwire: Tokyo is an atmospheric and somewhat ambitious game, with a vertical semi-open world gameplay arena dotted with ghoulish nasties and side-quests steeped in folklore, atop a supernatural thriller plot. The game's combat is sluggish initially, but it becomes increasingly satisfying as you unlock more powers. Weaving elemental magic sprinkled with some stealth elements for good measure. Sadly, everything new and fresh Ghostwire: Tokyo brings to the table is hamstrung by the game's awful performance on Xbox, which makes the game a true slog.

A decent enough game in a long line of decent enough releases. To start with the good, the best way to do so is to compare it to its prequel, World. The cutscenes can be skipped this time around. The (only) town is much easier to navigate than any of MHWorld's. The maps are fantastic, still multi-layered but not confusing or overly lengthy. The switch skills, the good ones at least, are a great addition to spice up gameplay. Moving around the map with a wirebug adds a new and fun method of traversal. The NPCs actually have been named this time around! Fewer cutscenes in general. Finally, a much more manageable armor box. Now for the ugly. For starters, a month and a half after release it's still unfinished. The story is still stuck on a cliffhanger, a first tor the Monster Hunter series. Several sound issues, including Anjanath being almost entirely silent and Diablos' roar seemingly being broken. Many weapons have been made nearly useless either through flat-out nerfs or the switch skills replacing their singular use. A few to mention are hammer no longer being necessary to stun monsters. CB, SA, and GL are all being nerfed in some way, limiting their abilities due to switch skills essentially replacing what they could originally do. Rapid-fire LBG was screwed up again. Zinogre HR LBG can rapid-fire slicing shots and do damage to such an extent that it completely stun locks the monster and does a tremendous amount of damage(30 per hit x 3 hits x 3 shots for a total of 270 damage every second or more). Other LBGs simply can't rapid fire as well. The last notable issue, currently bow damage calculation is broken and it does far more damage than it actually should.

When a re remake comes out I do two things watch content around it and if I can replay the original games. Re 4 was no different to refresh my brain I played the 2005 game like 2 months ago and it’s amazing so fun to play and as soon as I got the remake, I booted it up and can I just say it is a almost a perfect remake, it feels so good to play, although it changes bits of the start and a few bits going through out it I feel like I’m playing the first game all over again! It feels fresh and different but it also feels familiar. The game dose a great job with its combat and its movement, the knife now being a destructible item instead of a unbreakable weapon is so much more realistic although I will miss just being able to have more space in my suitcase and being able to infinitely slice through enemies but it is a nice balance. Being able to aim and move feels better than being stuck in the one spot. The scenery is so beautiful it is amazing how good they made it all look I found myself just taking in the surroundings and taking my time with each area the game engine has came a long way. All in all it is a great game so fun and definitely just like the original I really hope after this game they go to RE1 and remake it I would love for that to happen and see them do it right, Jill deserves better than re 3 (even though I say it’s a fine remake it’s not a great one the original was better) and I’d love to play as Chris’s but I think they’re have to try use the village model.

I know not "all" will agree with my "opinion" Nevertheless, The game itself is a visual masterpiece with great visual effects and a wide variety of effects that will initially stun new players. Lore here and there. Puzzles and secrets that are enjoyable, however, personally I like online gaming. I understand the game does not "need" online. However with the direction of many open world games such as, elden ring, dying light, destiny. It's hard to not play such a massive game with some much at your fingertips and have no option to see or enjoy others scenery, personally other than an amazing visually appealing game that's the best aspect of the game. The story feels like it needed work, and personally feel that the game was slightly false advertised with stating you get to make the future or control the path of your wizard. But then remove the consequence factor from the game completely, you cannot truly be a dark wizard in the game. You can do dark wizard things but, killings or using unforgivable curses is not unforgivable. The story is ultimately set for you to be the hero regardless of the path you take, there are also to me. Key missing Harry Potter elements, with hufflepuff you can visit the prison of Azkaban, but otherwise you will never see Azkaban. Despite using unforgiving curses yourself, you also do not actually get to interact with the demintor encounter or use a patronis charm, quiddictch is canceled, all year. The basilisk is only really mentioned. These are key parts of the Harry Potter world in my opinion. Decorating the room of requirements is nice. But being able to use the chairs and table for more than just looking would have been nice. The final boss fight personally was a HUGE disappointment, and the Evil wizard ending even more disappointing than the fight itself. The game has its pros, but it is far from without its cons as well. Of course to each their own, I personally wanted more from the create your own wizard, make your own path that was advertised. Not being able to act as Tom riddle and be a violent murderous wizard while still attending classes or even recruiting other students into Faction that later would become my dark wizard organization. The store they give you to sell items was very underwhelming. I'm sure there will be updates. But having finished the game already it's more of a one and done game atleast for the time being, I do not feel any need to rush through every house story, as they all still follow an exact script. Which eliminates creating your own path.

This game is fantastic In about every way. It doesn't freak you out to the point of wanting to stop playing it but it gets pretty close to that some times. Honestly, I just started playing it all these years later thinking that the graphics would probably be pretty horrible compared to today's games, but I was really surprised with how excellent they are for a 2008 game. They really took there time on this game to get it right. The atomspherics are great, the gameplay is great, the mechanics are great for there time for sure. The enemies are fantastic and weapons and various skills you use to kill them are really fun to work with because there is multiple options for any given situation. I really haven't found anything to complain about yet. I'm really stoked that I haven't played deadspace 1, 2 or 3. 8 rating would be a stretch, but the Xbox series s version is a solid 6 I am a big fan of Rick and Morty, so I loved the foul-mouthed guns and characters present in this game. I did have a few problems with glitches, i.e. getting stuck in the architecture where I used my jetpack too high looking for loot. In certain boss fights I also got stuck through no fault of my own because the next segment didn't load. The story is relatively short, bit there are weapon upgrades you can purchase if you return to the levels and find the hiddenboxes (some have collectable garbage pail kids type trading cards, some have weapon upgrades, some have straight money) Another issue with it is how they only have 4 weapons, yet instead of jusy mapping each to one D pad arrow, they only use the left and right arrow to cycle. I enjoyed the graphics, sound effects, and dialog, but the music was lame generic scifi. My gf loved all the colors in the game. A vibrant palate of purples greens blues and pinks. Thr enemies are covered in this goop that shields them. It reminded me of one of my favorite promo games ever, CHEX QUEST. I wouldn't have bought the game but I'm glad it was available day one on Xbox game pass.

A great game that is part of the Dead Island lore, albeit on the lighter side of the overall canon, that features a unique art style like those found in Mad World and Borderlands. The game is incredibly linear with light backtracking due to how the story is told, with long corridors that serve as background loading for a seamless experience. It was critically panned by reviewers during it's launch period which turned a lot of players away but I found it to be an incredibly enjoyable game that wasn't too hard and had some pretty trippy arcs that kept you guessing as to how the rest of the story played out. The major negative against the game is that the first hour is a slog with "so terrible it's good" dialogue and main characters that you want to hate and never connect with. It's easy to see why so many people were initially turned off if they only played through the first two or three chapters. Gameplay starts to pick up from the four chapter and beyond and never slows down until the credits roll, which then unlocks a New Game Plus that carries over any acquired weapons and ammunition (sans DLC assault riffle and walloper) and includes extra bits of the game that wasn't told during the main storyline. There is also free DLC that adds another 2-3 hour storyline that dives deeper into the lore of the island and those who run it, which is just as linear as the main game but an enjoyable romp through Underground/Underwater labs. The game also features several collectables for those that like to travel off the beaten path, that feature postcards, audio logs, and files on how the virus was created and what it was also ultimately used for. In addition to collectables, there is a camera feature that is used to find 86 items to be recorded for evidence during investigation, all of which must be found by the player organically without a list. There's a lot to love in this game, especially for those who enjoy campy zombie flicks and hack'n'slash gameplay. The game can also be found for less than $5 in most second hand stores, which is well worth the asking price and more. Just don't go into it expecting Resident Evil or even Dead Rising levels of gameplay and story telling, switch off your brain for a good 10-15 hours, and enjoy the game over a rainy weekend.

Words can simply not describe how much I love this game, but will certainly do my best: Characters - Existing characters such as Geralt, Triss, Ciri, Dandelion, Yen, Keira (plus Shani and Regis for the expansions) have been utilized brilliantly from the source material and used so well in the world the game has created, and boy what a world it is! The characters I previously mentioned are probably the ones that stood out for me the most, but to be honest there are so many brilliantly constructed characters (even minor ones like Bart the Rock Troll) that I simply don't know where to even begin... Geralt's interaction with most them is simply brilliant, and the game has so many amazing, memorable moments because of it (including the famous 'drinking game segment' at Kaer Morgen). You also get a logged back story for each character, most of it taken from the books and/or previous games. which is brilliant if, like me, you decided to read the books afterwards or couldn't be bothered playing through the first couple of Witcher games (although I did get through 3 stages of the original game). It's obviously more important to have this as there is alot of stuff in the game that needs back story to elaborate on, weither it be a situation or certain dialogue. Oh yes the dialogue, love love love some of conversations in this game. You can tell alot of thought and effort went into it. The character dialogue for the most part, particularly for Geralt is so complex and funny. As it is with certain other characters mind you, but Geralt's obviously stands out the most Environment - The graphics and art design for all the environments are simply brilliant, each location had its own distinctive feel and is and absolute joy to explore (I spent about 2 weeks just exploring Skellege's oceans and vast landscapes) Monsters/Enemies - Such a huge assorted variety, honestly you can never get bored with the variety of enemies you face. I also love that each monster has it's own unique methods of quickly being dispelled, and everytime you discover something a description will pop up in the beast log, breaking up everything into different categories aswell Story - Soooo gooood. Honestly story elements wise, I don't think any game is going to even come remotely close. Especially given that so many of the side stories actually match, and even sometimes exceed, the complexity and epicness of the main storyline Combat - Kept interesting through the graphic, stylized fighting and dismemberment. Aswell as the additional use of things like signs and potions. Once again you usually need to use certain combinations of things to kill my monsters more easily, particularly the more defined 'boss level' ones Expansions - BRILLIANT. Hearts of Stone has truely amazing story and character elements. While Blood and Wine does this on a slightly lower scale but adds another beautiful environment with various new enemies to face So basically this the best I can do to some up how epic The Witcher 3 is. But honestly, just play the damn game!!!

I was so excited for this game and in the first few hours of gameplay I wanted it so bad to be good. Unfortunately, Redfall falls short of achieving anything outside being a fantasy reskin of Far Cry. The gameplay itself is incredibly heartbreaking. From dummy AIs that, as individuals just stand there and require no real skill to take down, to boring vampire sequences that don't add much or build on a potentially really cool mechanic. You just fight safe house to safe house or retrieval missions, even in the story. The characters are lackluster which isn't helped by the lack of cutscenes. Rather, like the still images we get in the story, the characters are just copy and pasted stereotypes who, again, have much more potentially to be unique. Playsble characters don't feel much different from one another and their abilities are half- baked. I have heard that co-op is better, but lacks a reasonable progression system, however I've not played it. I can't justify keeping it on my console despite really hoping that a few patches or DLC can bring it back to life. This has been compared to Cyberpunk at its first released which, I didn't play at first, but when I did, I found it to be an incredible game. Here's hoping Redfall follows suit. It's not unplayable, but there are so many ideas and mechanics that needed some more time and thought put into them. The world is nice and fr didn't bother me, so no complaints there.

Tin Hearts is a Lemmings-style game from Guildford based developer Rogue Sun. You play from the first-person perspective of a spectral being, exploring and experiencing Albert J Butterworth’s family life memories as you lead wind-up toy soldiers around his workshop, getting them from point A to point B by possessing various objects. You’ll begin each of the 50 plus available levels by opening a small box, setting in motion the tin soldiers straight line walking. You’ll then need to possess and position various toys, triangular blocks, trains, cannons, windmills, drums, and so on to redirect them to the exit. These puzzles become more advanced as you progress, therefore it's great to see the addition of hints that can aid you should you get stuck. You also have complete control over time during the entire game, being able to pause the soldiers, speed them up, or even rewind time should you make a mistake. It means you can take everything at your own pace and there's no need to reload levels; a tin soldier accidentally falling to their demise can be undone in an instant with a simple rewind. As you guide the little men on their merry way throughout the family home, you’ll encounter past family life memories in the form of touching cutscenes played out by spirits. This can be anything from Albert reading his daughter a bedtime story, to Albert’s wife playing the harp in the lounge; it's all presented in the most touching way and fits the pacing of the game perfectly. Unfortunately, Tin Hearts does suffer from some rather noticeable bugs: the game crashes fairly frequently, the camera is often jarring when repositioning from one point of view to another, and the framerate stutters occasionally. It should be noted, the developer is currently putting out patches to remedy some of these issues. However, none of this can take away from the glorious presentation: with charming visuals and animations being accompanied by beautifully soothing music, it's a really quite wonderous experience. Tin Hearts is a charming Lemmings spiritual successor with a moving story that's perfectly presented with gorgeous visuals and relaxing music. The few bugs and frame rate issues aren’t enough to prevent us recommending this excellent title. This isn’t one to march on by.
