A very bad game in comparison to mario maker on Wii U, I lived that game but this one doesn't fix the originals issues, loses a ton of personality and in general is just sad. First the campaign: the levels feel either extremely easy, extremely tedious or like troll levels. In comparison to the original, where the campaign showed of ideas for you to create. Onto the multi-player: The new main multi-player mode is quite terrible in comparison to the original, where it was fun to play a few stages and challenge yourself. I am not trying to say the endless mode is terrible, it would be a fine addition but it's a bad replacement for the originals 100 mario challenge. Next on the list is all the online stages still being just a bunch of clumsy crap, haven't a lot except for a boo button existing (funny how a 7+ game does have it but youtube which is like 13+ doesn't) and the mario maker bookmarks page doesn't work anymore. The online multi-player is terrible and would be better of not existing, one device co-op is also weird since you have to download the stage before playing! The final thing is the world creator, which would be amazing if it wasn't as simple as it gets.

Game looks amazing for my hardware, has some pop-in issues, but I can live witha that due to my tou being pretty old. A larger variety would be appreciated but man is it a lot of fun to play, the bosses can be hard but does it sure feel great when you outsmart them or finally kill them, sometimes I feel like it's just unfair but at the same time it always takes me back and makes me want to kill that horde of enemies. One gripe with the enemies is that they feel a bit dumber and more powerful than they used to, not sure I like that. To finalize everything it is incredible, if you have gamepass give it a try you'll surely love it!

Probably the best shooters I have ever seen these games are amazing, while the controls aren't the best, I think they are better than the gcn controls.

I love this game, I think it is a lot better than the original in many places. The controls are much more refined in my opinion, using a d-pad may not be the best but it is really not a big problem in my opinion, this game has more content, which includes minigames, multiplayer mode, 30 new stars, 3 new characters and some new places to explore. The graphics may be a bit more pixelated but the models and colours are definitely better than the original. In general I would recommend getting this on over the original.

the game is good but i just can't stand the motion controls, they feel so unresponsive and unprecise. I played it in the 3D all-stars collection and the controls are night and day, but still the game feels way too loose, and it is a giant let down after sunshine. But the story is better, it looks a lot better, having 7 saves is amazing and it definitetly is a great Mario game, i just wouldn't put it in the top 3.

Originally I was scared, that the game would be too hard for me, because I am not really a pro. But I love it, the game is fun and enjoyable because of the fact it isn't as easy as the other Mario games. the controls are fluid and refined, having F.L.U.D.D. is also great and the secret levels really show how the controlls are simply incredible. The graphics look OK, but you never look close enough to see that, in the cutsceens it look like a Wii U or switch game, maybe not that far but they do look really good.
