If you were a fan of the original N64 game, there is nothing but perfection here. The controls adapt well to the Xbox controller. The gameplay besides a boot in graphics is identical. Sound and animation is spot on. I played an hour on the N64 version before picking up the Xbox One version and besides the graphic overhaul it identical. The new graphics are nothing special, and only show the age of the game. But as a huge fan of the original, this is all I could ask for.

Super Lucky's Tale might not be Mario or Crash Bandicoot, but that doesn't hold it back from being an excellent 3D platformer. Creative level designs, tight fast controls, and plenty of beautiful graphics make this game one of the best platformers in years. Yes the camera is locked to a 270 degree view, but since the levels are made based around that, usually nothing to worry about.

Combine all the joys of Railroad Tycoon with the micromanagement of Industry Giant and add in beautiful visuals powered by the Xbox One X, and you have a fantastic simulation that is great for both casual players (sandbox mode) and sim veterans (scenario mode). I love this game!

Mortal Kombat exceeded my expectations in every way. The action is fast and fluid. There is a nice long story mode, tons of playtime in the challenge tower, and enough hysterical Kombat with test your luck. The character count is nice, Fatalities are gory, and the tutorials are complete. The definitive MK.

Portal 2 has it all. A worthy sequel to the original. The single player focus on story, the co-op on funny. The best part is the outstanding challenge. Early puzzles are easy, and most can done quite quickly. But later on in the game, puzzles get so intense. The liquid that makes things bounce and slick are a great bonus. It exceeded my expectations in every way.
