I have an 3080 and only get 30 FPS (this bad optimized games aren't new for me as an Arma 3 player), this wouldn't be a problem if this came from 2015. The controls are also not the best (with keyboard), I bought an Play Station controller to play this game, with that it worked flawless. Its very challenging, that's a good thing. The levels are big and complex and the story is also not bad. If you want to play this on PC don't aspect 120 FPS, more 40-60, but you should buy a Ps4/5 Controller if you want the best experience.

Thirst of all, yes its bad optimized and the base game includes zero content, if don't own it on steam (This is no sponsorship and I don't get any money for this). The workshop and the DLC's make the game so much better (the optimization clearly not), you have everything, you can be a WW2 soldier or Mater Chief, or even Steve from Minecraft. The DLC's help the game and make more realistic. REALISM is a big thing in Arma 3, if you think you are good, you're dead, if you think you can run, you're dead, if you think you can speed run, you are dead! You need time to understand the mechanics and the key bindings. If you are a Call of Duty or Battlefield player, don't buy this, this will be to realistic for you, but if you want to die over and over and want a rewarding feeling when you kill enemy's, then you should buy this. If you buy it, then you should buy at least 2-3 DLC's to make the base game better. 9/10 IGN

I didn't played a lot, only 13 hours, but this game is so atmospheric, the music is great and helps the atmosphere. The gameplay, its a top down shooter, that means you like it, or you hate it, it depends on you, but for myself I can say, that it was very interesting. The story is short and you can pretend it, but it's a nice thing. You can have it done in 5 hours, I played twice to get all achievements. When you get it for less than 10 bucks and like top down shooter, then you should buy it.

I've 3850 hours in this and the other three DLS's (Heart of the Swarm, Legacy of the void and The Nova Campaign) and on the online mode. This is by far the best RTS game that I have played (I played a lot of RTS games, like Age one, two and three (the original and remasterd versions) and all c&c games). The A.I is by far one of the best, the online mode is fantastic (don't play on Korean servers, you gonna lose). The performance is also good I get over 300 FPS on ultra settings (Gtx 970, without V-Sync). The voice actors have down great work. I never had bugs. The first part/DLC is the three (Wings of Liberty), for me this is the best campaign of all, but the others are also worth it. But it if you like RTS games and like the future setting

I have around 1745 hours of game time and think, that I can write and review now. First the bugs, yes the bugs, there are some, some a lot, some that are funny or you don't recognize them, or you get some bad once. The pilot A.I is dumb (but only, if you pilot has a low level, if he has a high level, he/she is very good and flys better than you and sometimes trough stations and asteroids), but it works. The economy system is GREAT, if you destroy stations the whole system changes, prices rise or sink, the wares change and the prices change every minute, you need to invest time to understand the system and even the whole game, the first 400 hours I only learned and tried to understand the game. This game is only for people who have the will and the power to learn and understand the game, if you can live with the bugs, if you don't give up after 5 minutes, than this is a game for you.

In my opinion this is only for old c&c fans, for the people, that can handle the "dumb" A.I. I never had bugs or frame drops (Gtx 970). The cut scenes and the game looks nice, the switch for "original" and "remaster" view s also a nice gimmick. The bonus gallery is a nice behind the scenes, it shows the actors and some deleted scenes. Finally, the German version is not censored, but some text is like the old, and humans are robots, they could patch that, but for me, I just play the English version.

I've played the original games, for me this collection is one of the best. Halo Ce, 2 and 3 look better than ever. It worked perfectly with older hardware (Gtx 970) on high settings. I had some sound crackling in Halo Reach, but by changing the audio quality level in the game folders the crackling was gone. If you can fix that issue (which "steals" performance in the game), than this is one of the best collections of games that you can buy.
