I played on my original Mega CD and this game gets way too much hate. Very enjoyable and as always, great music.

This game is incredible. Wasn't so fond of it at first but I quickly changed my mind. Go check it out!

Great music, cool concept but pretty bad controls. Get a wii motion plus controller or adapter and it may be more enjoyable.

Clunky controls which are very frustrating but if you get a wii motion plus adaptor or remote its much more enjoyable!

Highly recommend to anyone willing to start playing the great 2011 game sonic generations and the all new beast that is shadow generations. You will not be disappointed. They have gotten it perfect after all these years.

Its very bland and uninteresting. Levels can be tedious but also too easy sometimes. The music is good atleast but the rest of the game is just boring with none of that fun boost gameplay we got beforehand. I did enjoy customising the avatar and replaying levels to try and get a better rank. Episode shadow is free but also very bland and short. Overall this game isnt the best but I still can get enjoyment out of it.

Sonic Mania is a modern classic (quite literally) and will remain one of the best 2d Sonic games for decades!

So far pretty mediocre. But i'll get through it and then I will edit this review to show my true feelings.

Great game. You don't have to have played the previous games to enjoy this game too.

You may enjoy it occasionally if you love sonic and have had experience with the other sonic games with this genre like I have but overall this game isn't the best, but also isn't the worst in my opinion. The huge sense of completion after finishing all stories really made this game worth the completion. (Just dont take the story seriously its not great)

One of my favourites on the dreamcast and as a sonic fan one of the best sonic games of all time.
