Sadly to simplistic in acting, script and directing style. Also in all of the mentioned categories it's also too cliche and predictable. Due to it's obvious faults it does not create immersion, and breaks the narrative and coherent storytelling. Lousy execution of scenes, and down right boring action scenes. The truth is that it does create nostalgia but it doesn't help much. The visual effects are really great, and crispy but other than that and the message of the movie, not much can be said for the movie.
Overall it's a below average movie, which in a lot of ways is over valued due to nostalgia. Super cliche movie with cheesy lines and easily predictable story.
This movie was fun tot watch, had great humor, perfect writing and story development and great value of entertainment. Overall it is in my opinion an under appreciated movie. The acting was great with big fully professional cast. The directing was great, and all the scenes had a reflection of the character's feelings, with amazingly shot scenes and good cinematography. The humor was sometimes dark, and never felt awkward or dragging. Great writing with a script that always had tension conflict and fun, and didn't have any pacing issue also due to the fact that it created great immersion.

The Ocean's movies always had good casts and this is no exception. The actors did a great job impersonating their characters and the great and soft complex script complemented their skills very well. The directing was average and nothing to really talk about there, except for the fact that the screen-time for certain scenes felt to long or too short. The story was really a cheesy one, with a vendetta, pride and greed at the core of it, which was nothing fresh and unseen before. It just wasn't the masterpiece as the other ocean's movie set out to be.s
Also as the story unfolded most of the events felt like it had no stakes, like the vigilante protagonists had no competition or no real antagonists. The guys that where supposed to be the antagonists where scripted to be a bunch of irrational losers.
So overall it was an above average movie the sadly did not deliver on the level of detail and entertainment that the other movies raised the bar for. It is a good heist movie, but and above average movie in general value. Also there was no real message in the story and the ending was to corny for most of he general viewers.
This movie felt like the son of jackass on steroids, without the really next level crazy cast. The performance of the actors was really great and felt real believable even for the tension filled and emotional scenes. Nothing out of the ordinary but still pretty good. The directing was really heavy on the practical shooting and did every single stunt in real life with added safety measures. And for most of the time there weren't even stunt doubles, and for this hats off to Johnny Knoxville for still being able to pull of some crazy things to hurt himself just to entertain. For this the entertainment value of the movie was good and overall it was fun to watch, the only bad thing about the movie was the cheesy script and sometimes cliche story. Due to this the immersion sometimes was broken. The bi-linear story-line felt too simple and to generic for most viewers even though the rest of the movie was executed with style and care.

This movie felt like a real try hard futuristic soft horror, on which it delivered perfectly. The acting was really good, and the Tom Hardy looking Logan M. Green did a great job on delivering a fully human, and later realistically robot like movement based character. The directing was great with a fresh feel to the dialog and script and with the amazingly executed action scenes and the character focused steady cam movement. Also the story unfold in very unpredictable twists, giving it more entertainment value overall. The visuals looked really good on such a medium budgeted movie, and the sound effects where quality as well. It delivers on every aspect for it to be a good movie, but does not over perform. Nothing works together in an overly good fashion. The message of the movie has something to say, but sadly it doesn't help that this message's market is oversaturated. Overall it's good movie, but with more detail, immersion and certain thing done better could have been an amazing one.

This felt like it had the real caliber of the Star Wars movies. It had the necessary depth for character arks and development. It had the minimal amount of dragging and useless dialog. It had the right amount of action scenes which where perfectly executed and kept simple and believable but still managing to 'wow' the audience. It also satisfied most of fan expectation shedding light to a very interesting, fun and entertaining back story of one of the most important major characters in the Star Wars universe.
The acting was very good, and top notch by every single one of them. The directing was done with great care as well, just as the scenes and the script suggests the work of a professional. Also the story was very good and entertaining and also kept real to the environment and previously set rules of the world and other story lines in it. The humor was very fitting and added another layer of entertainment to the movie.
Overall it is an amazing movie, better than most with this brand. Very well executed, with care and expertise which shows in every single aspect of the movie and the level of detail. And did better than most of it, and it is still under appreciated.
This movie really was a black mirror episode and showed a potential future, but it is so much more and so much more in depth that a black mirror episode. So let's not compare it to that, instead just appreciate it for what it is.
The acting was impeccable, some would say frame perfect and solid. Some times maybe it was to intense but, the whole movie was built on tension, and the final reveal. Which was executed perfectly right up until the ending which was maybe a little to rash and fast. The third chapter's pacing and events did not match the rest of the movie's. It's like it was out of sync. But the twist was satisfying, although predictable. The directing was amazing with the perfectly executed shots, and each one of them emphasizing the view point that the viewer was experiencing. This created more tension and immersion at the same time. The music of the movie was original and very fitting the environment, which made it more of an already entertaining movie. The value of this movie is wildly underappreciated. Overall this is an amazing movie with a very complex message and a deep view of the possible future and it's complicated problems.
This is another great example of what a movie turns out to be when the plot is to shallow, the lead actors average at best, writing and character development weak and to simple. The whole movie had this dull feeling, like it had no introduction, no climax and no other acts.

There where a lot of events that had no immersion and didn't suggest to the viewer that we should care about these events or characters. Underrated for the cheesy love story, rightfully so. BUT also underrated for it's complex emotional value and the message of the movie. Despite the awfully executed love story, the life lesson of the movie was to great to shrug. The acting was above average at best for most part, which did not radiate immersion but the script and the creative turn of events did. The cliche/corny love story fastly fades away and get's overshadowed by the meaningful interactions of the characters that really mattered in the plot of the movie. Sadly the supporting actress outperformed the main protagonist and did not help the plot to develop, also due to Shepard's pure and raw beauty plus the hipster style made the common scenes about her and not about the protagonist. At the end half of the elements where handled badly and executed poorly, though the rest of the elements where handled with care to detail and with emotion that created a very powerful emotional aura and had it's deep artistic moment and delivered the message the movie set out to bestow on the audience.

Another under valued movie which delivered on everything that it promised yet it was judged by everything else in a not legitimate way.Besides the comedy and the romantic value of the movie also delivers a very complex and beautiful life lesson/message that most people overlook, because they don't expect it to find it in a comedy. The acting was good for the given genre, and the directing style was average with the cinematography and the way scenes where shot. But the script and the character development was much more in length than used to in comedies, which was a nice addition and the audience had the time to connect with the characters. The dialog was basic but the humor was really well combined with funny parody like events. They managed to insert fun in to even the most emotional scene in the movie which made the movie overall serious but not too much. Further more the core idea of the plot was really original and very well handled and executed to the extent where details where the key turn points in the story. Overall this was a very good movie for a comedy/romance film that had a very deep but beautiful message.
This was a cheesy, super cliche adaptation of a video game to the big screen and a very sloppy and terrible at that one. The directing style started off interesting and it managed to create interest in the first half on the movie with amazingly shot scenes and very good music, creative dialog choices and good script mixed with proper acting skills. In the second half of the movie everything changed. Like the whole crew and cast was fired and replaced. The movie's plot started to drag and had pacing issues. The acting was overdone due to Hollywood effect, and the script was totally and down right trash, with the cheesy and meaningless one liners and the non existent character dialog. God awful CGI at times and no music or high quality sound effects for a movie at this budget and magnitude. Terrible fake scenery which wasn't even exploited to the limit when it would have been acceptable. The plot was shallow, and cliche. Given the fact that they had so much potential with the Tomb Raider title, they went for the complete and utter lazy plot with the generic villain, easily predictable plot twists and superficial meaningless character motivation and emotions. Overall it felt like the biggest failure of video game adaptation (but we all know that is not true). It's a bad movie, which wasn't supposed to be made!
This movie was in contrast with itself. It was really good in certain aspects but bad in others. It felt like it really had an emotional value but no entertainment or fun value. In truth it was trying to hard to be a deeply artistic emotional movie, and in some way it managed to turn up as a success and failure in the same time. The directing style was really amazing, and the all the scenes where shot with care and attention to detail and this actually comes over to the viewers if we watch carefully and appreciate it. The characters where developed very well although with some pacing issues, and it took to much to build up their relation with each other which in the end left the real plot in the background and the events as they unfolded. The acting was amazing by both lead actors and the supporting ones. Hats off to Alicia and James for delivering their character's emotions in their raw, realistic form. And the simplicity of their relation and romantic scenes had a powerful real down to earth vibe which was almost humane. This is very rare in romantic movies, and physical connection is hard to not fake. SO all credit is due for the actors here. The visuals where great with amazing sights, practical effects for most part and simple but meaningful music in the background. The only big fault of the movie is the plot and how it unfolded and above all the slow pacing issue it struggled with. Besides their connections and some superficial things about the events not much else is reveled above the world and the story's unfolding. Sadly this breaks the before created immersion by the characters and really good acting.
Overall it's a good movie with amazing artistic value, but low entertainment value. This makes the movie a hard watch especially for those who like a more eventful movie and can't value the realistic emotions and complex message delivered by the film.
This movie was a joke compared to the original one. The original one had brought something to the table with it's semi original story and universe, but this one is just a try hard sequel with average acting, sloppy actin scenes, cliche directing style with average at best cinematography and the story and the writing was lazy, dull, boring and mostly cliche and super cheesy. Which ultimately lead to this movie being un-entertaining and not fun to watch because it lost it's immersion with the world but mostly with it's characters. The characters where awfully under developed and not given motivation, drive and purpose. They where all just thrown in to one big plate. The visuals where the only element in the whole movie which was better than average.
Overall this is a failure of a sequel, and a below average movie. Also lazy!
This movie's nature seemed to have flew over the majority of the audiences head, and not appreciate the value of this movie. It simply had charisma and fast paced shift of events which it seems it was confused with chaos and urged scenes. But no, the movie had amazing scenes and great a acting with very impressively developed characters in a short time. And due to the fact that it had so many it was like a chaotic free for all fight for the life. But the plot was rock solid despite what others say, if you pay attention to the detail, it's all there. The action scenes where really lacking a lot sadly and the ones that where in the movie where kept pretty much simple and too realistic for this kind of a movie. But that drama, the unforeseen entertaining twists and the hilarious similes where amazingly fitting and it also created immersion. Apparently this was also hard to appreciate for the general viewers. Overall this was a charismatic movie with fresh style, and great acting that deserves all the respect for creating something fresh in this genre. It's deserving of a very good movie tag. And sadly super under rated!!! (This is me not being subjective and claiming that this movie deserves better)
This movie was a marvelous movie (pun intended) which satisfied not only the eye with it's jaw dropping visuals and amazingly done CGI but also the mind with an intriguing plot that fit in to the current state of the Marvel universe. The actors did an amazing job at delivering the inner and outer conflicts of their characters, and the writing and script let them do so in style and very well executed humor and jokes. The movie itself was almost too entertaining and fun to watch. The directing style let's the viewer know that they had fun not only directing this movie but also playing with it, which radiates of fun and that translates to immersion. The sound effects where amazing to, and done with great care to detail. Either way anyone who says that this movie was not entertaining or fun to watch is lying, and due to this the value of the movie overall grows. Not even to mention the interesting fresh and unforeseeable twist and multiple antagonists. Although there where a couple of plot wholes, which where left uncovered even at the end.

Also the character development had a really big pacing issue, because the time spent and invested in most of the characters was not enough by far, when it was present it was repetitive. The visuals where great and practical, and the sound and audio effects where average but good quality as expected. Overall it was a good movie that had a lot more potential and budget, and it felt like it was rushed at the end and missed a couple of key moments that could have been developed more in detail and length.

It was really good from the point of view of the message that it delivered and serious problems reflected in real life. Rachel and Bateman did a good job delivering on theirs script and their character's personalities, but sadly their jokes where just short of funny. But the supporting actors have a lot more humor and charisma. The visuals where sloppy a couple of times, but only noticeable for the eagle eyed ones. The music in the action scenes and overall where lacking the right feel to the movie and did not radiate immersion. Non the less this movie did not deliver on many elements of the movie. The core of it was too little. The plot was to simple and you could see most of the twists from miles, and the sad thing that totally ruins the movies fun was the trailer. They included every single great scene in the trailer, which made for the audience to loose their interest when found out that those where the best scenes and the funniest jokes. Overall it's an above average movie, which could have been a lot better if not spoiled in the trailer and if the small details and semi-major elements of the movie have been executed right.

It is nothing less of an amazing movie that gives you a lot to think of. The attention to detail in the scenes is amazing. The script however simple it is it has the contents of much more, but it is up to the audience to figure it out. The music in the scenes is amazing and most importantly original and helps the immersion and the action of the characters. Simply put this movie is to complex for everyone to understand, but non the less it is pleasing for the eye, fun to watch and it keeps the tension going through out the movie with new mysteries and threats. Also this film can be entertaining for everyone, even for those who don't get the message of the movie at the end due to it's complex nature. Overall this is an amazing movie that is almost close to a legendary 10/10 if not for it's minor misplaced elements and events that felt pushed in the story, and minor biology plot-wholes.
This movie at first felt like a weird version of a soft porn with expanded plot. Obviously this was due to it's bad pacing and struggling to establish immersion with the characters and their problems. But after a while it picked up with itself and became fun and entertaining to watch. The character's where amazing and very well acted, except for a few emotional **** directing style was average at best. And the plot was overall decent at best, but the twists where good, and made it more unpredictable for the viewers. It somehow evaded the cliche tag, because of it's dramatic ending and the real message it delivered witch was really original and a first for most of the general audience. The complete lack of music was really bad and a missed opportunity for greater immersion and depth for the characters, and dramatic effect. Overall it was a good movie which had a really genuine plot and interesting events with a lot of interesting and entertaining elements that where done good, but it certainly could have been better if the directing style was more creative in some ways and the humor wasn't as awkward as it was. Anyway the message of the movie is a strong and real one which was treated with seriousness.

It did non struggle with pacing issues, and the characters where introduced with accuracy and care. The plot ended up being overly cliche and predictable, but the message of it was nice and genuine. In short the movie overall it's a good one, with all it's faults but it is certainly was executed to it's fullest potential. This being said it's good to realize that a 7 (good) it was the best it could achieve with it's cliche plot and weird humor. But the rest of the elements and the fun of watching it is easily makes this a good movie.

But sadly the predictable plot that has no message whatever and a happy ending, overall decreased the value of this movie. This movie is a slow paced emotion roller coaster with a really strong message which apparently was not clear enough for most people because this movie is too under rated. It really had that feel of the raw wild west and was not exaggerated to better fit the silver screen. The events of the plot are kept simple but brutally realistic and filled with raw emotion and consequences. The acting was really amazing, especially with Christian Bale's solid but soft under performance of Joe. The writing was simple enough but still held value and emotions. The music helped the immersion, and was really not exaggerated on the over the top action scenes. But the scenes where still "heavy". The directing style was great amazingly executed as well, with on point cinematography. There is to much humanity in this movie to ignore the artistic value hidden in this movie and the deep message of life and solidarity/empathy. The visuals and the sights where this movie was shot was a real jaw drop for most of the audience, with pixel perfect practical effects. The pacing was a little slow at the end, but it can be argued that that is due to the immersion creating and tension full scenes if we have the patience with the unfolding of the plot. Overall it's an amazing movie which in my humble opinion deserved a lot more from the critics, because they oversaw the real/raw artistic value in this movie. But I did this from general audience. Still...
This movie was the most awful horror movie Iv'e seen with everything wrong in it. Terrible cinematography which can give you PTSD if you are not careful. The sound cues where terrible and did not match the feel of the scene. Also the "feel" of the scene... well there was no feel at all, had no immersion and plot and the events as they unfolded where simply stupidly executed, shot and acted. Sloppy script with not a lot of backstory on the virus. No real conclusion or message to the movie. The "comedy" element was basically non existent and the humor was too. Overall this is a bad movie and I honestly want the length of it back in my life with time payed which was wasted seeing this.
A sloppy movie with unbelievable or exaggerated scenes and especially action scenes although the visuals mostly looked really good. But it was hard to believe or just down right to cheesy for a movie. The acting was weak as well, for most part. Also the writing was cliche in many instances. The character development struggled to keep up with the trilogy's pace in this last entry which made it bad for the character's endings and motives. This was a movie that delivered on it's genre tags, but did it in a non-special way which added for the movie's overall entertainment which in the end was lacking a lot. Sadly this was a fail of an end entry for this trilogy, in to many ways.

Tonya was a very crafty movie that did everything very good or better than average. You can not really find any faults in this movie. The acting the directing the writing script and the story, plot and every other little element was delivered in style and the 4th wall breaks where a fresh addition as well. Also The raw emotion that this movie is was building real tension in the viewer as the movie proceeded. The humor was also good. But also the over exaggerating adjectives of some characters for the big screen was silly.
Overall this is a very good movie which was made with love for art, sport and film making.
This movie was a glorified american army covert operation which was dramatized due to the Hollywood effect. But despite this it was a good movie with really good acting even in the more tension full scenes and the emotional ones to. The directing style and the way the scenes where shot was decent as well. The only thing that was average was the writing of the whole movie and the character development. All 11 other soldiers where just some faces in the first half of the movie, because there was no immersion creating scene with them, or no screen time what so ever in order for the viewers to connect with the characters. The visuals though where rather good looking and pretty realistic too. There is also a life lesson hidden in there somewhere in the shallow plot of the movie, which is disguised with honor. Overall it is a good movie but barely making it as one.
This was a marvelous movie and I am not talking only about the studio. Visually pleasing really well directed and shot action scenes, and amazing futuristic vibe to it. The actors did a decent job on their roles. Also the plot was pretty local and did not met the standards of today's marvel universe's huge roles but it did fill in one chapter which was needed for the future movie. The music in action scenes and tension ones was really great, also the plot had a taste of traditional African traditions which was breath of fresh air in the MCU. The humor was above average and it got a few really hilarious moments as well, due to it's humor. But the real show steal-er was the plot's simplicity yet interesting. Which made for immersion and entertainment at the highest value. It's a really fun movie to watch and it does not fault in the pacing of the plot and unfolding the story. Overall it's a very good movie and a great piece of the MCU.
This movie felt like it was trying hard to be a 1 location-shot epic movie, which it turned up that it failed at it. Liam Neeson was the only one who delivered their character in style and with passion the other actors did not show enough interest and didn't gave depth to their roles. Although it is arguable that this was the point. Also immersion with the viewer was non existent. There is no humor which just makes a movie like this feel like a chore and totally dull. Sadly the plot is very shallow and has no entertainment value to it. The CGI was average at best within the action scenes. Sadly all the elements with the combined ending of the movie and the message it delivered, which was painfully cliche - are the exact reason this movie is just and above average.
This movie was an amazing performance from the actors and the directors which made the viewer fall in to the feeling of the era of the movie and created real immersion. The directing style and the cinematography though was just average. The story was interesting but right after the intrigue it struggled to keep the tension going within the viewers and it lost interest soon, which later had to be made up for. Although the plot follows a very serious subject this movie felt that it took itself to seriously. But despite all this all the other elements of the movie where executed perfectly and in classy style. overall it's a very good movie which has a raw message which sheds light over the real truth about the American government.
This masterfully crafted movie really shows that a movie can be super entertaining and fun to watch even without action and with a narrative voice. The actors where outstanding except for 2-3 side character performances which where a little off. The directing was on to the details and the main this at all times the plot was executed perfectly and it was immersive and it had depth. There is almost nothing wrong with this movie. Very well done stunts with practical visuals and very good quality sound effects. Given the fact that this is a true story it's even better. The humor was not very funny but this was not a comedy so I cannot really discredit this part of the movie. This movie proved a lot of things wrong and the art value in this is really strong. So overall this is an amazingly done and cared for movie which has almost no flaws. Except the fact that sometimes the plot is so complex that for the general audience it will be hard to keep up. The ending and the message is really raw and realistic and somehow managed to dodge the cliche bullet.
This was an unexploited fantasy/ sci-fi world which I would love to see more and sadly this movie did not push this universe's potential to the fullest and kept everything very local and tiring. But also there was a lot of great performances from actors, amazingly shot action scenes, there was a big chunk of entertainment and also a lot of fun. The dark humor for adult is really good and makes for some hilarious situations. I don't know what's with all the hate but I can assure you that the general audience would love this movie and they did. Sadly as I said at the beginning not all things where done or pushed to the limits, but what was really cared for where the visuals and that futuristic vibe combined with today's worlds. Also what a lot of people fail to see is the message of the movie. The ending really reflects on all the hate, racism and oppression with all these issues indicating issues from our real world. Overall it was a good movie entertaining and fun to watch but it could have been a lot better if the writer and director decided to give us more of the world, more immersion and mostly depth to the plot.
This does deliver on all of it's genre tags, however it is really poorly executed and the general audience was very bored and they let their voices be heard. It was very un-entertaining and it wasn't fun at all. On top of all this it was really lazy and had a HUGE pacing issue and the plot did not take off even after 20 minutes in the movie. It was very simple, and the anti climactic ending just added to all the flaws this movie already had. The writing was lazy too, the acting was average at best (I love Mark Wahlberg's movies but I don't know how did he get involved with this) and the directing style wasn't creative either. It was 'Lazy' if it where to describe it with one word. I do not consider this movie to hold really amazing art value. I did expect more.
Overall it's an average movie with a decent message at the end but up until that point it was really awful.
Pitch Perfect was sexy, entertaining, fun had a good message but overall it was awkward. As much as I don't like that word it really was awkward and some sub plots where totally useless and did not fit. The humor was terrible and was very poorly executed. The actors did a good job, at least 2-3 of them. But the rest, they acted just as terrific as their characters. The directing style was poorly executed as well. But the things I mentioned at the beginning are the only things that stands out and help make this movie what it is. The sound effects where amazing to, but that was really expected from them give the fact that it is a musical video. Overall this is an above average movie which could have been a lot better if it was cared a bit more and developed more the characters depth and the plot complexity.
I have to say it delivers on all of it's genre tags although not very accurately but it did. This movie felt like a total chore to watch at first but after the first act it picked up really fast and started to be entertaining and hearth warming and dramatic at the same time, as the story started to break off in to smaller plots. It was very well executed from this point of view. The cinematography, directing style where a masterpiece. This really is a piece of art if we are to consider the musical elements only. But sadly the immersion was not on point and the musical performances broke off all the story and immersion once it started growing. The plot was not very deep but it was well done. The actors however where the true stars with their performances on the characters assigned to them and all the singing and very frame perfect choreographed dance scene. The romance was definitely there in it's strong element as they showed forbidden love from multiple angles, and not all happy endings. Somehow the the ending was not cheesy nor cliche which is weird, but it proves that this was a very well cared movie even with all of it's really big faults.
Overall this was a good movie but it could have been a lot better if where more immersive and entertaining. Ohh yeas and the practical visuals where amazing as well, and the stunts executed where mind blowing. Props for the stunt men!
It was a real work of an artist this one. The art for comedy and nostalgia. I have to give credit for the genre tags and they got the movie accordingly done, very well indeed. It felt like it was and action-adventure plus comedy, so I don't know why all the hate. The actors did very good delivering a character with a mindset that they did not match their or their character's personalities, and it was very fun to watch which made for a lot of laugh out loud moments and puns and pop culture references. The writing was genius and very creative with all it's options and still remaining family friendly. The directing was very good the music helped the entertainment aspect out a lot. But the visuals where really well done except for 2-3 shots in the whole movie which looked terrible. The plot was really great, and video game like, which all gave it an interesting vibe. Overall it's a very good movie and everything was done very good in terms of entertainment and fun. But given the fact that this is not a serious movie and there is no real message in the movie and some other missing elements of a legendary masterpiece movie. But still withh all that missing this is a very good movie.
This movie felt like mess at start and it kept going almost until the end. The actors did a good job, but sadly they are the only ones. The dialog and how the story was presented was cheap, and to complex non-linear style messed it up to a point where it's not interpretable for the general audience. The writing was typical and made it boring overall to watch after the first quarter of it. It was not a fun nor entertaining movie to watch sadly. The visuals where great and practical, but the music is what really helped the movie out from the ditch. The plot is simple but delivered in such a complicated manner that it looses the interest of the viewer. The message of the movie is not as clear as the director intended it but at least the conclusion is solid. Overall it's an average movie with some good acting, that could have been executed so much better if done with a little care and passion.
It was a very good movie that showed the struggle of Somalia's people intertwined with the struggle of a reporter. It shed light over the unseen and undocumented side of one of the poorest country and most controversial one. The actors did a very good job at delivering their characters especially Evan Peters with the recreation of suspense and tension of a young reporter as Jay. The director's style and cinematography was very well set up from an unseen point of view, that being an experience from Jay. The writing was average at best but the plot turns and the realistic raw feeling of it made up for some certain plot points badly executed. The music was very good an mixed with Somalia's culture and made it more of an African vibe. The out of the box message was very fresh and original even though it was done after some real life example. Given the fact that this was a biography movie it was executed very good for one. But it might not have done as well as an action movie. The tension of some scenes was recreated very well and created a very good immersion for the viewer. Which also made it more entertaining to watch. Overall the conclusion was a very raw, realistic and humanitarian which also helped the movie overall. It was a very good movie which was a little under appreciated from most of the general audience.
This movie is a very accurate recreation of the original. It feels like a behind the scenes from the 2nd camera movie. It also gives a chilling unseen vibe of the movie. The actors where outstanding in their roles, the Franco brothers outdid themselves on this movie. The directing was great and captured every single intense situation and delivered the immersion as expected. The writing was not very creative but it shed some light as I said before to the parts which where not seen before. Although the plot was a bit lacking to go on and at times Tommy's behavior was terribly awkward most of the time, which made the pacing a little bit of an issue, because at times it felt like a chore watching these scenes over and over, but they get away with the fact the this was a biography movie, and a recreation of Tommy character. The visuals where great but the lack of ambiance sound effects made it more raw. The conclusion was there with the original story as well, which made it a recycle for most of the viewers. Overall it's a good movie that recreates Tommy Wiseu's character rather well, but delivered to raw in my opinion, and could have been made couple of polished changes to the whole "giving over the tension" aspect.
This movie felt like it was mission core elements the whole time. The actors's performances, despite being all very renown actors was not as great as expected, in fact the emotions and jokes where pretty dull as well. It's just another ordinary average performance because of the script writing and movie directing style affected their roles. I would say a lousy writing and script is what leads to these great actors not performing well. The was there but sadly it was a disaster as it was to serious in that aspect and sarcastic and hard to get sometimes. The sounds where great but the complete lack of music in certain scenes did not help the movie overall. It was a rushed plot-less movie which would have done a lot better if it where a TV short, because the plot was lacking a lot of content to the base. Overall this is a flawed movie down to the core and it is very disappointing even despite having some elements as entertainment and fun handled well. It is an average movie which could have been a lot better if not for lack of sheer content.
This movie felt like a misfire of what it was supposed to be. It missed it's audience totally by having an identity crisis. It's to serious for kids and to funny for adults. An unrealistic experience for Charles ****, and how he invented his characters. And this is not an adventures movie which makes it boring and dragging with it's entertainment massively. The characters where un-interesting and not creating immersion. You just won't care about most of the characters because there is no value in how they where acted, written and delivered. The director's style is just the casual stuff and nothing out of the special. There is also a serious pacing issue of the main events not unfolding until one third of the movie. The plot is not complex at all and by being chore like as well makes it a hard watch. The humor is totally lacking and there where no actual jokes in the whole movie, which gives the impression of this movie taking it's self to seriously given the fact that it is a magical movie. Or rather it was supposed to be. The complete absence of music in certain scenes is also experience breaking. Overall sadly this movie is a below average, and I honestly can't see any reason to watch this movie at any time of the year. The conclusion is cheesy, and in the end the movie is just not interesting, entertaining or fun to watch.

The emotional scenes where just simply a masterpiece and they delivered the feelings of sorrow, love, vengeance and anger in such a meaningful and artistic way. The director's style and choice in cinematography is simply something Iv'e never seen before. Fresh and very well executed. The movie is such an entertaining piece and it keep the tension high all the way through with it's amazing unforeseen events and turns that it depicts the struggle of real life perfectly. The shadiness and lies and every single detail was outstandingly executed. The characters are just so perfectly written and acted and such complex personalities with profound moral codes that it is hard to even start to comprehend yet still believable, because it strongly reflects the reality to much. The emotional power this movie has is just amazing. The music also helped the impeccable immersion and tension. The situations our main characters are presented with and interacting with each other are often grotesque. But the humor and funny situations are very well delivered as well. I honestly had gags in one minute and tears in my eyes the other minute. It's literally like a lifeline of emotional overwhelming project. Overall it's an amazing movie which it's a must watch if you can stomach the drama genre. It was always a 10/10 masterpiece but the conclusion and ending was a bit lack luster which cut right before the apex of the events. None the less the message is clear and strong visiting true problems in the world. AMAZING!!!!

This movie felt like a good recreation of the rivalry between the two players. Shia LeBeouf played very well the angry young kid, it was the perfect role for him and he did deliver on my expectations. The rest of the actors did outstanding as well on every single emotional scene and frustrating tension scenes to. The cinematography was amazing as and the director really knew what he was doing. Simply everything works perfectly. Humor, pacing, visuals and sound effects, screen writing etc. The plot is simple, but the way it's presented makes it valuable and if you do not know the outcome of the match the movie can even surprise you. Overall it's an amazing movie with a very good message and perfectly working components but you need patients with it that is why won't get a 10.
This movie felt like an update to the first movie, but was decently followed up. The actors where good and although I did not have any expectations, because I am always trying to be objective it's was average performance, except for Mila Kunis which felt really genuine. The director's style and the cinematography was average for most part and there where a lot of overused slow motion scenes and a lot of exaggerated actor's expressions in these scenes and in emotional scenes as well. Despite all this the movie created a lot of funny and hilarious scenery so there is credit for the director. The humor was very solid, and had a lot of laugh out loud moment. The plot was simple but there where a couple of warmly welcomed twists that you can not see coming which made the movie overall better. So in conclusion the movie is a good movie, and despite all it's fault the message of it is quite strong and touching as well.
This felt like a real message that was sent to the care system which the veterans are receiving when getting home from war. And that is what it should have been, based on the books and the real story behind the plot. The actors did a marvelous job delivering the emotions and tension to the screen, and the cinematographic shots are intensifying the experience as well. Shortly to the point this is a very powerful movie with a perfectly executed elements and all aspects overall it's a very good movie with a very good story and message, but lacking some conclusion to their stories.
It felt like this started as an amazing project to work on, because it had a vision and great plot with a decent message. But it ended up not delivering on to many of these elements. The actors did a decent job, more or less but the kid was really good, plus Clooney knows how to direct his movies, which is always good, but that wasn't enough to save the movie from and average rating. The visual and sound effect look pretty good, and the sound plays a rather big role in immersing the viewer. The humor was a big fail, and the pacing of the movie is just downright awful, and it takes too much for the plot to really take off, it just breaks the immersion. The plot was delivered that it reflects on the problems of the 'great america' and people's stupidity but went really down the drain as the plot was only a shallow story. Overall it's an average movie, which could have been so much more better if executed in the right way, and gave the right conclusion and message at the end.
[Disclaimer: I am rating this movie without reading the book, or knowing anything about the original story. I am purely rating this for the movie and it's aspects which might be affected by me not knowing the 'original' plot] It felt like a depressive state, which is exactly the vibe the director was going for with the color pallet and the environmental feel, plus with his interesting choice of cinematography. The cast delivered great for me and really gave over the tension and emotion of the characters which can immerse the audience with this story. It has no pacing issue, on the contrary it takes things to fast for a non-familiar audience with the book. And the plot gets even more complex throughout the movie, which is good and enhances the thriller feeling of it. The non linear and non-chronological order of scenes gives every single detail almost at the right time, up until apex of the movie, after which pieces fall to it's place but most of them never do, with a bunch of plot holes that where pretty relevant but hard to notice. The visuals and even the sound effects where very realistic and gruesomely practical. It won me over with it's original story, and perhaps I will even pick up the book. Overall I consider this to be a very good movie, but solely a movie. I think that this is VERY underrated movie, and is only held back by the anticlimactic ending and lacking a proper conclusion to our protagonists life, and a few other small elements mentioned over my review. [Again, I rated the movie as it is and not compared it to the book.]
