If you’ve had a hard day and want to watch something to restore your sense of justice in this world, then Braven has all the boxes well and truly ticked.

It's Momoa's show and he brings strength, warmth and gravitas to a part that, thanks to an emotionally-grounded script by Thomas Pa'a Sibbett, based on Mike Nilon's story), proves more than just "Conan, the Lumberjack."

Any cheapjack action movie can get a crowd to cheer at its shock kills. It’s the best ones that persuade us that there’s a clear chain-of-events physical logic at play — that find suspense in one action leading inevitably to another.

For anyone looking for a shot of vengeance adrenaline while waiting for “John Wick 3” to come down the pike, Braven will probably fit the bill.

Lin Oeding’s action thriller thrives on both the beauty of its natural, snowbound surroundings and the brutal instincts of man.

Aside from being a showcase for up-and-coming action star Jason Momoa, it offers little else of note.

Too many character actions seem inorganic, pre-ordained by the needs of the script. The set-up is strained, the quick move to violence perfunctory.

Even though the movie is most of the time rousing, there are some logic issues which affect the plausibility. Worth to mention are the creative kills.

Braven Was not that good of a movie I was interested in what this was about all I knew there was action which there is and it is very slow at times Which makes the movie boring u are not interested in any other characters That is all that this movie is about I give Braven an D-

This movie felt like it was made for a much better and much intense original artistic story. The elements of it: the music, the visuals the action scenes and every other detail was downright amazingly done. But the big bummer in all of it was the cliche plot and the simplicity of it. Plus the non-existent script, and awful way the shot where filmed. The acting was rather really good with genuine acts. But sadly the predictable plot that has no message whatever and a happy ending, overall decreased the value of this movie. Overall it's an above average movie which was done in an amazing fashion but the plot was to narrow. With a better plot these actors and crew could work a masterpiece of a movie out.

Jason Momoma? Good. Jason Momoma fighting? Very good. The Plot? It was alright. The cinematography? Nice. Jason Momoa walking through the snow? Good but cold.
