More than 6 years after the release, the bugs that cause the dock workers, teamsters, etc. or service buildings like church not working are STILL NOT FIXED. Yet, tons of DLC are made for sale in between. Now, this buggy series is going to have Tropico 7 next year. At this point, everyone should understand it is going to be another buggy cash grab rush like this game with the intention of DLCs spam which barely improve anything of the base game.

Pokémon X and Y were when the series jumped the shark (or the Sharpedo, to remain in-theme). -Started gen 1 pandering (starters and most mega evos being from Kanto) -Removed some of BW/BW2 ideas and QoL improvements. -Linear with low difficult level -Poor postgame -Bad story and characters. BW's mature themes are still here, but it generally feels two step backwards compared to gen 5. -Very incomplete, both in content and story. It still makes me angry that despite the mysteries and hints we never got an XY sequel, with GF making **** ORAS and skipping straight to gen 7. I hate it so much I even deleted my 6 year old save data with over 400 hours in it to avoid bad memories.

Xenoblade 2 is an horrible game. -Bad, grindy and repetitive combat system. Seriously, I hate auto-attacks. -Bad map design. How could Monolith design a great Hyrule in Botw but a **** Alrest is beyond me. -Bad Gacha mechanics, unfitting for a non-F2P game. -Field Skills **** and the kill the game's flow. -Mercenary missions are repetitive. -Like the 1st one, most of the game's sidequests are fetch quests. -Su much anti-Qol elements. For example, Merc Missions can be cleared only with in-game time, not real time. So, If you start an 15 minute mission, close the game with 10 minutes left and return to it 10 minutes later, You'll still have 10 minutes left. Seriously? -Tutorials ****, they don't explain game mechanics well... and you cannot re-view them! -Graphics are bad. Also, who thought giving different artist for different characters in a 3D game was a good idea? Characters feel imported from other games, they clash with each other and the rest of the game, making the game's style inconsistent. Same goes for NPCs. -Portable mode is just... argh, my eyes are bleeding!!! -English voice acting is earbleeding. -Battle lines are repetitive. -Too much irritating anime stereotypes, clichès and tropes that ruin the story. -Character design **** ****, especially Rex, Pyra and Mythra. -Characters are stereotyped and unlikeable. I dislike the entire cast, especially Rex, Pyra and Mythra. I hate them with a burning passion! -Excessive fanservice, like moments where the camera pans on Pyra and Mythra's bodies, even in serious moments. This is a game made by perverts for perverts! Disgusting! -All of the forementioned story and character-related flaws make the game a cringefest. The only good qualities of Xenoblade 2 are the music and the world's atmosphere, but those two aren't without flaws, too: for example, I hate the music you hear in the infamous Mythra sleepwalking scene. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is not only the worst game I've ever played on Switch, but also one of the worst games I've ever played in my entire life. I hate it with a burning passion, I regret buying it. Had I the chance, I would not onlt go back in time and avoid buying it, I'd try to delete it from existence! I've played 1 and X too, and while I disliked them too 2 was leagues worser. To be honest, I realized I never actually liked Xenoblade games: other games or even watching stones are more entertaining than this smoking **** of franchise. At this point, I'll definitively skip 3 (and I'm glad I'm skipping it looks like some people are disliking this too). I think this franchise is overrated, as well their developer Monolith Soft (but not when they make other NIntendo games as I love BotW), and I think they should stop with Xenoblade and make something completely new and fun, not another niche garbage like Xenoblade. In closure, I absolutely advise you to NOT BUY Xenoblade Chronicles 2. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

In the first 2 years the game had lots of variety, was fun and F2P-friendly. But then it went downhill, becoming the exact opposite: a greedy and repetitive gacha garbage. -Excessive powercreep, making even units released mere months before obsolete -Repetitive both in game mechancis, modes and events (Seasonals every month and TT being seasonal exclusive) -F2P orbs diminished -Feh Pass. 'nuff said. -Too much game modes, some being too similiar and other not being fixed. I spent lots of orbs in the fallen banner and I got units with trash IVS. This, along all the already mentioned flaws, made me quit and uninstall the game. And who thought putting 3H's Gatekeeper in CYL was a good idea??? With this game, Intelligent Systems is becoming like Game Freak: Greedy ,stubborn and lazy. Avoid it at all costs!

This is a chill make-your-own fun sandbox factory building game based on pure mechanics. The game play is basically: Here's some basic resources and some increasing complex tasks to achieve; go figure it out. It might be best to describe what's missing or not included in the game play as the absence of some mechanics is surprising (not a criticism): - There's no story, narrative, or central conflict central to the game play. It's just a sandbox of resources and tools that lets you build what every you want. There is guidance and objectives at first, but it amounts to "build the requested shape" with the resources available. -The game is not really resource constrained, including time limits. You have basically unlimited resources to design, build, test and optimize a solution at your own pace. -There's no explicit fail state other than failure to progress to the next level. You can't die or get in a place you can't recover from. You can always wipe the board and start over at any time without restarting the game or resetting your level progress. -There are no scores, weights, or rankings in the game and you're not judged or compared to other players unless you go out of your way to find it outside of the game. Pros: - A chill, self-directed experience. You get out what you put in and it can be as shallow or deep as you want based on you interest and engagement with the mechanics. - There's a free web demo to get you hooked. If you're unsure if you might like it, you can try before you buy. - It's a surprisingly good educational game for anyone interested in engineering or computer science topics. It teaches a whole bunch of good skills in logistics, planning, programming, computational logic, process pipe lining, routing and placement of factories. It does all of this in an emergent, self-directed way without explicit being an educational game. The game gives you a bunch of engineering tools and a problem to apply them too, and lets you figure out the rest. It's recommended for any would-be engineer interested in programming, electrical engineering, printed circuit board design, or integrated circuit design. - It's an open-source game published on Github. You can participate in the development and/or modify the game if you're interested. Cons: - Performance is an issue with large factories. You can't just brute force build factories due to instabilities in the game engine. This is perhaps (unintentionally) one of the limiting factors or resources in the game. On more than one occasion, I had to redesign and simplify some large factories to get them to run without crashing the game. - There's kind of 2 games in one: There's a large pivot and change in game play mechanics when you reach the endgame/freeplay mode that the game doesn't fully prepare you for. Using the wires layer turns it into a whole other metagame. - I wish the game forced you to engage more with the wire parts as they were unlocked. - I wish you could "mirror" parts in addition to rotating them. It would open up a whole other level of optimization to laying out and optimizing factories. - OCD trigger. If you're obsessed with optimizing things or achieving the "best" design, this will drive you crazy and eat huge amounts of time as you iteratively improve your designs. I'm kind of glad they don't have an on-line competitive mode. - The in-game tutorials are a little lacking when it comes to explaining how some parts work. It's best to visit the wiki and on-line communities instead.

I currently have ~130 hours in the game and would say this: If you like rogue-like games, this is one of the better ones I've played. I bought it for $20 and it has been an excellent value for the money, and I would buy it again at that price. I would recommend the game if you don't mind some RNG frustration and have a lot of time to kill. Pros: + Unique game play with heavy rogue-like mechanics. + A huge world with various biomes and enemies that are diverse and interesting. + The whole game world is a huge puzzle with lots of mystery and secrets to uncover and keep you playing. You can look at the full map (on the wiki) to see that the main path into the mines is just a small part of the overall world. You're encouraged to go "out of bounds" to make discoveries that leave you wondering what you've found, and then immediately get killed by something mysterious and overpowered. + The pixel based world is a unique and interesting mechanic. + There's lots of complex mechanics that make wands and spells their own little puzzles within the game. In some ways it's almost like a looter-shooter gun mechanic. Neutral: = A huge time sink. For better or worse you can put a lot of time in the game. It was great when I was looking to kill time during the pandemic, but at some level I'm starting to regret the amount of time I've sunk into this game given the progress I've made. Cons: - There's a lot of build variety, but there are clear dominate strategies that are just objectively better. I've only found a couple builds that would let me win the game, along with a lot of builds that are are basically worthless and will quickly get you killed. In my experience, If you don't play to a specific power curve, you're in for an unpleasant and frustrating game, and it's largely RNG if you can play to that curve or not. - Hidden secrets are highly cryptic and difficult to find. I don't know how you'd figure out half of these without looking at the wiki or having insane amounts of time to experiment and explore. - The game can be hard to the point of being unfair, mainly because the game is so RNG heavy. Be prepared to bang your head against the random number generator hoping that you get the wands, spells, and perks that let you progress. - A lot of the late game fights end up being battles with off screen enemies you can't even see. Shooting homing projectiles at something off screen until the enemies stop returning fire is not that fun or rewarding. - I've had intermittent sound issues with crackling and broken audio when using an dedicated sound card. Google "noita sound bug" for details. It seems like this a known issue that's been around a while and is not being addressed by the developers.

Pros: + It's more of the same Borderlands game play loop: If you like previous entries, you'll probably like this one, but if not, this isn't anything new to change your mind. + If you're into the gun-loot grind, it's can be fun. + It's the best one since Borderlands 2. + There were some pretty girls in the game. In cut scenes, I had a fun time finding the best camera angles to ogle the boobs and butts. To be 13 again... Cons: - The main villains are weak and uninteresting characters with a boring story line and motivations. Granted, this is not a game about the story, but Borderlands 2 showed you could have a much more interesting villain than this. These are just comically evil characters that do bad things because they need one-dimensional villains to move the plot forward. I could not skip through the CoV cut scenes fast enough. - I feel like I've grown out of the edgy humor and teenage angst portrayed in the narrative. It's more a con of me getting older. - I found the game very easy. I rarely died, and didn't feel like there was much skill or challenge in the fights. Point at the thing you want to die and hold the trigger; move forward and repeat. I barely used special powers or grenades because there wasn't much point. - Obnoxious DLC sales push. OMG, they are trying way to hard to sell you DLC in game with constant in-your-face reminders. - On PC, I had a few crashes. At one point I had to google how to restore a corrupted save game after one of the crashes. Buying advice: If you're a fan looking for more Borderlands, this is fine. If you're new to the series, start with Borderlands 2, and come back to this if you want more. I'd pay $20 for the base game, but I'm not really interested in playing the DLC.

The game looks promising initially but as of this moment the game is just not finished and has a lot of problems. I bought the game on launch day and my experience was buggy with multiple crashes. The last parts of the game also feels rushed. The final boss repeats the same attacks for every phase and the ending sequence has you repeat the same filler gameplay that you've been doing for the last 4 - 5 hours. Its like they did not know what to do with it so they just slapped something together to ship the game. That said, the music is great though just not really on par with the quality of the gameplay. Makes it less worth it when you can just listen to the music on loop on youtube.

I hope EA and Bioware will learn and understand the golden rule of gaming industry. Internet user feedback never reflects the wills of gamers. Because most of the fans are just enjoying from the wonderful game, generally don't even bother to leave a review here. Look at this game, it has all the elements contributing to its great success and sales records, but it gets a ridiculously low user score here. In fact, this game is just like Skyrim which is a master piece because it removes all the complicated elements of RPG, making the game an exploration and action oriented lightweight RPG. This reaches the top game standard, a game can be enjoyed by everyone, attracting a much bigger audience base. It seems DA3 is going in a wrong direction again, caring for a minority of hardcore RPG players will only result in a fall of sale. Because it will never attract the majority of gamers due to taste preference.

See it, every casual gamers, the major portion of gamers in the world, are enjoying this game a lot, and supporting it with passion. This again demonstrates that this game doesn't deserve a low user score. This game is perfect in plot, music, combat and world exploration. Every aspect of RPG is made as a master piece of art.

This game is phenomenal. There are so many reviews describing the game and its mechanics, I thought I'd take the time to show how good it is on PC. DE:MD is to 2016 what Crysis was to 2007. Even on lower settings, this game looks phenomenal. People are stuck in their thinking about how settings relate to graphical power - they assume that Ultra should be playable at over 60fps as long as you use a top-end card. Normally, even I would expect my GTX 980 to run most games on Ultra without a problem. However, this game recommends High if you have a 4GB GTX 980 card. Not VERY High, not Ultra, just High. This has caused a lot of upset - which is fine if High looked terrible, but it doesn't. It looks better than nearly every other game out there right now. Those with £5000 gaming rigs are finding they can't hit a steady 60fps with everything turned up full, and it's not because the game is poorly optimised - on the contrary, compared to most other games, this game both looks and outperforms them at the right settings. It's important to remember that Ultra is not meant to be achieved by today's hardware; it is meant to be a setting that will still look good even in 5 years time, when technology has improved even further. This is a way of future-proofing this game's graphical potential for many years to come. So when they tell you to use High or Medium, rest assured that the game will still look amazing by today's standards, it'll just look even better compared to the advancements in a few years - games in 2021 will only then be looking as good as DE:MK does on Ultra settings. It would be no different if they simply locked the V.High and Ultra settings and unlocked them in a patch in 2019. People would think, "Wow, they made so many improvements 3 years after the game released in this patch!" when the truth would be that the improvements were always there, they just weren't available until then. I'm loving this game and it's a definite 9/10 for me

The base game is not that great, BUT the day 1 DLC and DLCs released afterwards are very outstanding in quality, even better than Rome 1 and Medieval 2!!! Here is the ranking of total war series: DLCs of ATW > S2TW > M2TW > RTW > NTW > ATW > ETW = R2TW If Rome 2 could keep up with a good quality DLC scheme, it would be a great success. Unfortunately, it failed, so it has a very poor user score due to low quantity and quality of DLCs. But don't worry this time, I have a great feeling that there will be tons of high-quality DLCs available for us in this installment. Developers, don't keep us waiting, release more DLCs ASAP please!!! Total war fans have already accumulated a high expectations on DLCs, and are demanding them aggressively in Steam store page.

A great disappointment. The game is kick-started by community, and have gone through the stages of alpha and beta. Many bug reports are submitted by the community, in the hope that they will be addressed when the game launches. However, the truth is that most of those issues are not addressed at all, and the game just launch in such a buggy status. So, what 's the result? A lot of users suffer from loading issues, game crash and save corruption. Therefore, the game is now nearly updated at a daily basis, but unfortunately there are more and more bugs discovered by the community as the game is on sale now. This is unacceptable for such a long development cycle, and the tons of new bugs identified just make me doubt about if the game is actually tested before launch. At this rate, I wonder if the game will be at least free of game-breaking bugs one month after the launch. If you are interested, just check the steam forum for the issues currently reported by the community. See for yourself before you make a purchase decision. Don't just blindly buy a game if you have to wait for a long time before it is finally playable.

Well, for a price of $15, its quality is acceptable. However, it brings nothing new to the table. I will not comment about the story and art style, as you will only either like it or not. It is really a strange idea to mix rogue platform jumper with turn based combat which appears in tradtional rpg. In the end, both edges of the corresponding genre just lose. As a platform jumper game, you will not have a chance to finish off opponenet by fast jumping and reflex action. As a rpg game, you miss the open world experience you will generaly expect. In the end, you are playing a platform jumper game only to solve puzzle without threat, and a rpg game progressing in a linear fashion. It is just too boring. Mixing genres of game may not always be a good idea if the elements in the genres can't resonate with each other. What a waste of potential.

Everyone, they have done it again! EA team has demonstrated once more their talence in leading the world's modern warfare gaming standard, which set up the milestone and paved the path of FPS gaming for future generations, which probably influeneced and inspired the whole world for many years afterwards. BF4 is indeed a masterpiece of video game design. I am grateful that I have the honor to become one of a handful of the enlightened masses who possess the knowledge to truly decipher the great meanings and philosphy buried deeply inside this fantastic achievement of art work. The gameplay is fast, fluid, and utterly innovative. This game is so innovative that it does not need to innovate any more. Name one other first person shooter that changes as little as Battlefield while maintaining a large player base, inspiring the whole world and enlightening the public mass. It is impossible. Why? Because only Battlefield has achieved that kind of state and EA team had perfected their technique and dedicated lots of resources in paving the future of video gaming standards. The story is a beautiful metaphor in itself. The player represents an enlightened and chosen individual who understands the true brilliance of the series. The enemies represent the uneducated masses who cannot comprehend the ridiculously high quality of the installment, and it is the job of the enlightened to deliver true justice to the mainstream. There is absolutely no other video game that can match BF4's intense and fast paced gunplay. The game is so skill based that it takes skill to make the game take skill. People have to come up with new, inventive ways to restrict themselves so they can come up with an in game challenge. This develops the skills of the player and leads to a much more knowledgable individual. An enlighted BF4 player can easily best a player of the competition, especially in games which require teamwork. All in all, BF4 is the most competitive game of the previous generation and will undoubtedly be one of the most competitive of the coming generation as well. The game tells a beautiful story and continues the series' affinity for innovation. Excellent work EA. The enlightened embrace you with open, next generation arms.

Glad to see there are developers who bring new ideas and concepts to a horror game. The game play mechanic is simple, but it is really fun to watch the haunted house gradually changing and past history of player and the house is gradually revealed via exploration. I really like their use of CG, speech, exploration, and diary pages etc. to reveal the story, which integrate smoothly with the game play. The art style is great and really help to develop a creepy and strange atmosphere. A hint to a reviewer complaining monster AI: you need to understand the story and hints provided to you during your game play, logic won't work in a haunted and strange environment. I give this a 10 because this gives me a new experience of horror game, which doesn't rely on jump-scary or monsters with terrible look. If there are developers watching here, here are my words to you. You guys just rock, please consider bringing more new ideas towards horror game.
