Oh, what a game, through my 130 hours playtime of constant crashes, I enjoyed every second... sort of. Pros: Story / Progression / Companions are well-written / The Mojave wasteland. / Mods. Cons: **** trash optimization. / I was able to **** up Honest Hearts, I finhished it in 50 mins.

Bad optimization on PC. The game overall is a 7, but after playing saints row 3, you realize how much of lazy carbon copy this game is. Everything is the absolute same, the only new improvement are the super powers which I found super fun, with those superpowers however, vehicles become obsolete, weapons too actually. In one area of the map every **** is copy pasted, such lazy developers. Every mission is tedious and boring and is the exact same formula all the **** time I went insane. Don't play this if you have played other saints row, I do recommend gat out of hell though.

Pros: Driving / Hand-to-Hand combat / Characters I will not forget about in a while / Story / Environmental attacks. / Hong Kong man... Hong Kong. / The world feels alive. Cons: The game forgets about the whole 4 girlfriends thing, we never get to pick one, we just go on a date with each of them and that's it / Bad mouse controls when it comes to aiming with weapons / using melee weapons is really boring and seems useless up until the very end. / Constant crashes. / Cops are **** ****. / Flashlights are useless.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005)9

I finally finished this game after endlessly trying to beat it back in my childhood PS2 days. I enjoyed every second, the vast customizations of cars are **** brilliant, and I miss stuff like this since now everything is locked behind micro-transactions. I loved the cringy 2000's acting. Nothing gets your adrenaline high as much as a level 5 police chase. The only drawback is the stupid bloom effect which blinds your eyes throughout the whole game. The story is simple and straightforward and also barely existent, just like a racing game should be.

The Simpsons: Hit & Run8

I played this game for the sake of nostalgia at first, but I didn't think I would enjoy it this much. Visually the game ages surprisingly well since 2003, it still looks very acceptable, and not once was I like "Ugh those graphics", the 3D art style goes super well with the Simpsons franchise, and it always impresses... except when you look at their faces, the weird googly-eyed faces. I'm really weirded out by the choice of making the cutscenes 3D cause it looks so **** bad and I would've preferred if they stuck with the series art style just when it comes to the cutscenes. Other than that, the game's main aspect is the driving, and thank god the driving just feels great, different vehicles feel different! handling feels really good and satisfying when you get it right, and you won't get bored with the driving since it offers a huge variety of really unique vehicles. The game has so much fan service and references scattered around every area. Speaking of the areas, there are variations of them. 3 different areas have small tweaks depending on which level you're at, these small tweaks consist of changing the time from day to night, and the last level to a Halloween setting. There are 5 different and well-loved characters you'll get to play. The missions consist of the same 4 concepts: Race, destroy the car, collect items, and tail a car. Those same missions could be considered repetitive but the driving mechanics really make up for it. Don't think this game is easy, nah this is one tough **** to beat, especially the last level which took me more than 40 mins. Overall a really unexpected enjoyable experience from what was planned to be just a nostalgia trip. Took me 11 hours to beat with collecting some stuff.

GRENADES GALORE: What a huge disappointment this was... The game lets you play once again the same three allied countries (Russia, Britain, and the USA) before we delve into the bad, let's start with the good: - Gameplay: Has seen significant improvement over the first one, guns feel more powerful and responsive. At least no more solo missions, and friendlies are able to kill now! - Visuals: From a game that was released in 2005, the graphics somehow don't feel outdated and in fact at times I had to sit there and take in the scenery as planes bombed the area around me. - Audio: much improved, sounds make sense now, the game is still as loud as ever and I love that, makes you feel like you're in an actual warfare, unlike games nowadays where all guns sound suppressed and bombs sound like the balloon pops. - Voice Acting: Sure you don't have cutscenes and stuff, but the interactions and awareness of AI is pretty spectacular (when it comes to voice lines at least) for example, friendly soldiers will point out enemy positions and flanks, which really helped me numerous times throughout the game. They'll even shout each other names like "Wither take cover!" Now, the bad: - Story: once again the game has 0 cutscenes, 0 character development, I mean for god's sake it took me 30 mins to find out each main character name that you play as... The only memorable characters were Captain Price (just because of the later games) and Sergeant Randall. The rest were unmemorable as **** - Enemies: ok so here is my experience playing the game: Take cover, Get thrown at with 30 grenades at the same time, attempt to run away, get shot at, die, repeat. Such a tedious cycle that sadly ruined the game for me. - The three countries: So I will give each allied country its own rating. Russia: 4/10, Britain 9/10, USA: 6/10 [The Russian campaign was so immemorable. The British campaign was the best hands down, filled with different set pieces and great scenery. The USA campaign was super repetitive but D- Day and Sergeant Randall carried it] Overall, This game took me 10 hours to complete (cause Veteran difficulty which I don't recommend anyone to play it on) I expected way more from what I heard about this game... but Nah... This is back when COD campaigns weren't about the story and characters, it's just shooting and shooting, some people will like that sure, but not me, I want to get to know who's behind the gun. So if you want to play a game with seemingly never-ending **** that carry around never-ending grenades that are thrown so precisely at you, then be my guest. I'm glad it's over.

Wow... Just wow. I got this game for free on Epic Games, and god damn what a worthy download this was, this game has no dialogue, no pre-rendered cutscenes, it's simply gameplay. Everything it does, it does perfectly, The story is up to the player to interpret. The game never holds your hands, everything you have to figure out and solve on your own (yes, including the story) and I love that. The platforming is quite easy but the puzzles get really challenging at times. Let's talk about the art style, the game's best aspect, it just looks so **** good, the lighting is impressive and the dark colors give a depressing atmosphere. Plus, the animations and the physics are on point. I was really expecting this game to be super easy, but the dogs and the mermaid really **** me up, I died countless times embarrassingly. The audio design and the music are phenomenal and truly bring out the atmosphere of this dystopian world. Once you start up the game, you won't leave it till you beat it, which should take you a maximum of 6 hours (if you take your time and try to get all the secrets) and after finishing I wasn't done and immediately went to read theories and watch videos about it and check if anyone else had the same theory as me. This is a short experience I'll never forget in my life. Well done to the indie developers.

Call of Duty7

Believe it or not, this is the only Call of Duty game I haven't played yet. I went in and was immediately surprised by how well it looked, for a 2003 game my mind was blown. The game lets you play 3 major Allied Powers (US, Britain, and Soviet Russia) and you kill a whole lot of ****. The shooting holds up really well, the sound design is amazing, the music was the best part of this game (especially during the last mission). Now to talk about the negatives, The story is pretty much non-existent with immemorable characters and no cutscenes. Friendly AI is the most **** AI I've ever witnessed, they have no idea where to position themselves when the game gives them that freedom. They seriously lack aim training. I played this game on Veteran difficulty from start to finish, and let me tell you... It's hard, but not in a fun way. The game has no health packs on Veteran, so you mostly get stuck with 1 HP for the rest of the mission until you beat it and it resets. I get making it challenging, but no health packs make the experience unfun and super annoying especially when you get hit by friendly fire. The level design is amazing but it comes with shortcomings and really questionable choices, there are times where you have to infiltrate whole enemy bases and for some dumb reason you're sent alone with no backup... Are we playing as Rambo or something? On other levels you start off with friendlies that all of a sudden disappear and don't follow you so once again you have to kill over 100 soldiers by yourself, the game really takes you out of the immersion at times, which is disappointing in a World War 2 game. Oh, and there is no sprinting which makes it really awkward when the commander shouts at you to RUN RUN and you just casually walk as 10 Machine guns spray at you. Overall, it's a mixed bag, If you wanna play it, don't do it on Veteran difficulty. The game is really short, I beat it in about 5 hours with all the restarts. Lower difficulties would probably be able to beat it in 3 hours.

Bully: Scholarship Edition7

My experience with this game was quite enjoyable and awful at the same time. I decided to play it again and finish it since I never did as a kid. God damn this game is so good, the characters are so interesting yet so limited, the world is amazing, classes are fun mini-games that improve your stats, the different and very creative weapons are the best thing about this game, the game doesn't take itself seriously and it shines in comedy. Now, why a 7? well this is most arguably the worst port I've ever got my hands on, I wasted almost 3 hours of my life of lost playtime because the game kept crashing, even with patches and fan-patches, the game crashed constantly especially late game (Chapter IV and V), I had to redo so many missions it's so unacceptable that a huge company like Rockstar put this **** out. I gotta admit the game was quite short for my taste, with all missions, classes, and challenges finished in just 16 hours. One last thing, the controls... Wow, the controls are so unoptimized for Mouse & Keyboard, the mouse sensitivity is all over the place I couldn't understand what was happening when I attempted aiming. So if you really really really wanna play this underrated gem, play it with a controller, and make sure you save after every simple task you do. It's so sad cause this game deserves so much more care. Now give us a sequel goddamn-it.
