Transformers: War for Cybertron7
Jun 28, 2014
Having played both High Moon titles Transformers titles WFC is the more compelling game to leave feedback on, hence I'll begin with the bot's and con's (see what I did there? Me neither). This game is the most authentic in terms of character, background story and feeling towards Transformers Generation 1, Cybertron genuinely feels alive and vibrant amid the midst of a brutal civil war. The voice acting and dialogue are remarkably good and the original Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) is on key, however Megatron and Breakdown exchanges coupled with Warpath digs at Ironhide were entertaining. However despite the huge fan service throughout WFC the gameplay is too repetitive to the extent where 80% of the Autobot and Decepticon campaigns are identical, from the cut and paste enemies to the recycled boss battles it smacks of laziness. The story mode is 5 to 6 hours long, personally I would of liked another hour or two with more characters and variety. The mutliplayer is actually pretty decent, yet compared deeper titles like Battlefield there isn't enough depth to replay for months on end. Overall a very enjoyable ride through Cybertron pre-Earth days and the old memory banks, it's a shame that High Moon have seemingly abandoned making a third potentially even better game.

2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil3

Absolutely abysmal edition, a seriously poor and lacking effort (AGAIN) from EA. The obvious differences from the main game is the ball physics and quicker gameplay, where the ball feels extremely light hence accurate passing and lobbed passes are needlessly more difficult. Defending is hopelessly bad, every and any noob simply spam through balls and high crosses to score cheap pathetic goals. I've seen Sergio Ramos and Thiago Silva BOTH get abused by spammed crossing and through balls, this gameplay is reminiscent to the decline of Pro Evolution. The WC edition is nothing more than a cash cow, the hope of getting decent players in the free packs are remote yet that wouldn't matter if the gameplay was authentic, which sadly it is not! If FIFA 15 resembles anything like this WC mode, I'll happily through ball towards another football game!

World of Tanks8

Some of the PC snobbery/fanboy foolishness is laughable. OBVIOUSLY a scaled down version for the xbox 360 will be limited compared to it's PC counterpart, though I'm not a fanboy so my view of the world isn't streamlined. WOT is a fantastic game for the xbox 360, it's quite addictive as well as competitive. The upgrade system is a little confusing, though the practice range and the recently added video players guide explains fighting mechanics enough to understand and implement them. It is simple enough for all to enjoy, yet it's deep enough for serious players to their teeth into. Though there are gripes, like some achievements are NOT possible without spending money on it. Crew xp's seem never to rank up, annoying children singing down the mic or wannabe generals shouting commands like we care yet there's no in-game mute option, lastly some tanks drive erratically. Overall for some enjoyable MP action, look no further than WOT, plus it's absolutely FREE!

FIFA 147
Nov 12, 2013
This game dishes out pain and pleasure in unequal measure, unequal as that is how unbalanced Fifa 14 is. For example its normally Ultimate Team were noobs have a fighting chance but with seasons mode, where skill and tactics used to be key, noobs got smashed to bits. Unfortunately now its the other way round, because in seasons every noob runs to Real Madrid, so unless you are either Barcelona or Manchester City you have virtually no chance with Bale, CR7 and co running at your defense. With the game new mechanics players with pace and height (CR7, Bale, Ibarbo, etc) will tear the likes of Thaigo Silva apart. I like the new mechanics and the slowed down gameplay, but having such an over-powered team unbalances the game. UT mode has vastly improved, with the ability to change formations at will now and the ability to enhance player stats with boost cards. It's far more a tactical battle there, but it shouldn't be this way. Overall better this year in some parts, far far worse in others.

GRID 27
Sep 18, 2013
After some bug fixes and the reintroduction of demolition derby, this game sits firming in the good but not great category. The obvious thing about Grid 2 is the handling, most of the cars drift like drunk sailors on a stormy deck. Upgrading some cars neutralizes the effect somewhat, however the handling generally is more of a annoyance than Grid 1. Though cars like the Zonda, Koenigsegg and the Panoz were horrible to handle in Grid 1 anyway. However Grid 2 outshines it's predecessor in every way, with the exception of track variety. A similarly mundane yet superior single player mode, a more diverse online experience where leveling up is vital, and local co-op! Overall a good racing game where petrol heads like myself will enjoy the no holds bar sense of racing, I just hope Codies will in future scale back the arcade feel a little.

Gears of War: Judgment6
Mar 28, 2013
As many other veteran Gears fans have already stated, this latest addition is underwhelming. However it doesn't mean its a bad game outright, though I believe it has no place in the Gears universe. The single/co-op/four player ironically is the best after Gears 1, I do like how People can fly have changed it for the better. The problems though are with the multiplayer, which to many is the reason why we brought it. First the day one micro transactions............ absolutely scandalous! Then the maps, discounting the vastly over-rated over-run there are four maps that I counted where the same map gets replayed over and over until it changes. Then no downs, as the boss guards in MGSPW would say 'WHAT?'! That alone makes certain maps and weapons so unbalanced it's stupid. Then free for all, initially a good premise but with experienced players camping at power weapons spots again there is little balance. Lastly the weapons, I like the Beecher a lot but the old lancer and marzker are way too over powered, plus hit detection is very erratic. All these problems new players won't know or care about, but a vet will be disgusted and frankly I feel I have wasted cash on this. BUT the old Gears of War download was a great touch, but I don't think it has aged very well with several glitches, laggy connections and cheating NOT removed ie crab walking or being invisible in brushes etc. Overall an average game but a extremely poor Gears!

Irony is such a strange yet wonderful thing! It's ironic that as I enjoy this game deep down I felt like this is what a new DMC should of been like, it's also wonderfully ironic that the maligned yet battle proven Platinum Games were 'attacked' by apparent new DmC fans due to certain erroneous issues. All I will say is my money went towards Platinum Games and this excellent game, while I and many many others didn't and will never spend a penny towards that unholy mess Capcom threw up! MGR greatest assets are it's variety in gameplay ie stealthy kills or all out war, it's excellent boss battles (bar one chapter) and lastly the parry system. As a Soul Calibur fan, this was an excellent addition where genuine skill and timing is needed to excel, skill which is sadly absent in other *cough* hash and slash titles. Though two marks were deducted due to the following: Regardless of re-playability the 7 hours or so it takes to finish isn't long enough, though with the revised development time that would of been forgiven if the camera wasn't so bad. Ahh the memories of DMC1 and never seeing where the boss Nightmare attached you from, it's that bad on MGR especially when you have to face an opponent to parry only to get a several hit combo unleashed on poor Raiden. Despite these issues MGR and PG have shown the gaming world that the Orient do hash and slash best, maybe now others will learn that lesson too!

Battlefield 37
Feb 7, 2013
Summing this game up is difficult, as part of it is glorious while the other parts are frankly disappointing. Firstly the most disappointing aspect was EA marketing campaign, they embarrassed themselves with some churlish war of words with Activision over a series EA foolishly copied in it's single player and co-op modes. I wouldn't mind if EA had a more innovative single player to taunt Activision with, but alas both the single/co-op modes were pathetic COD clones, even down to the imperialistic Western tones. However the mulitplayer is where Battlefield has and will always excel at, truly the best multiplayer experience I've had since UT2004 and GOW1. The various modes, free dlc if you have the limited edition, steep but highly enjoyable learning curves makes this multiplayer game of legendary status. BUT EA once again sought greed by inserting the money making rent a server, thus leaving many p***ed as endless players got booted from matches for no reason, or games ended early due to hosts being spoilt brats. Thankfully EA restored the DICE servers due to fan anger, however that cheeky move along with the inferior COD clone single/co-op modes makes the overall package a seven!

DmC: Devil May Cry0
Jan 17, 2013
I was hesitant to get involved in the reboot DMC debate, as I personally detest it and others have made points about the game for me. However I was enraged to read certain websites slagging off the user metacritic overall opinion (slagging it off yet still reading and talking about it), acting high and mighty when in reality they are merely one set of trolls against another set on Metacritic who set up new accounts just to slag this game off! Though it doesn't surprise me these high and mighty sites and their following do not actually question the 'professional' review scores, or question industry corruption like 'Doritos-gate' for example whilst happily receiving backhanders for positive scores!? Below I've listed the main reasons why I detest this game and hope Ninja Theory never makes a game again! 1) The Art work is terrible, it's a mishmash of dull orange and psychedelic colours. This new Dante, Vergil and Cat were designed to attach younger urban punk people to play the game. This look has zero appeal to me, and obviously many others. 2) The dialogue and plot are abysmal, truly lame brained juvenile nonsense. Yet those who defend this game call those who point this out as juvenile, ridiculous! Yes the previous games weren't exactly War and Peace, but they had 100% more character than this. 3) The themes like the half Angel stuff and media control are actually quite offense to those with Religious/Moral views! I really dislike Ninja Theory and their view of lifestyles, and am absolutely livid they incorporated that into the game. I play games for relaxation, not to have 'saucy' Angels (God forbid) rammed down my throat! The media control stuff makes me laugh, as again the same people who are slagging the hardcore fans off for hating this game will happily believe their governments lies in the media, please reference the Iraq war or WMD's or the economic crash etc. Pot, kettle, black..... Anyway they are the main reasons why I detest this game, and the uproar that has unfolded has made me realise that there are many trolls and people with no morals or ideals of their own, and that truly is the scary thing!

Nov 24, 2012
After 18 months playing this I had to change my original score of 9 down to an 8, as this game isn't as great as GRID however it has way more options and modes to it. Over time the quality of this game wasn't as good as the gloss made it out to be, frankly I had more fun playing Dirt Showdown. If there is to be a new Dirt please Codies simplify the Gymkhana events or just get rid of them, make handling more like Showdown or make it realistic, GET RID OF THE 'YO DUDE' VOICE ACTING, and cut the padded out livery challenge events. Still a very good game, though it's flaws are too glaring to miss.

Terrible game! A Mario Kart clone of the worst kind, which try's and fails spectacularly to incorporate F1 dynamics with fantasy power ups, inability to power-slide (vital if you want a successful MK clone) and long dull tracks. The result, a shameless xmas cash in attempt, where I believe only young children or non-gaming adults will enjoy. AVOID, especially at full retail price!

Hitman: Absolution8
Nov 20, 2012
Hitman Absolution is the captivating experience that I've been waiting a long time for, a cross between gritty authentic stealth and wonderfully crafted action. I can understand some Hitman fans moaning about the latest installment as I'm not looking forward to the new DMC for the same reasons, however unlike DMC I only played the very first Hitman so to me innovation is welcome. There are flaws, the save system and shoddy AI being the worst of them. But on higher difficulties the AI get better, while the sensory perception and the Splinter Cell enemy marking system work great which helps makes this game appeal to a wider audience. If the haters try it, 80% I reckon on Hard mode would love it! Lastly some industry reviewers need to get a reality check, one in particular rated this 6.9 while rating Res6 8.8 and Black Ops 2 9.4? The gaming media need an urgent clean up, as it's poor that some media pick on IO while kissing the butts of bigger companies! Shame on you.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted5
Nov 20, 2012
Whether you enjoy this game is totally down to your expectations, as Need for Speed fans seem to love it while I and other Burnout fans find this average at best. I'm never comfortable with open world racers though Burnout Paradise was the exception to the rule, this however just is too average. The handling is a cross between arcade and well a bad simulator, after a while you do get used to it but things get worse as all the cars virtually handle the same which gives little incentive to try new cars. Races are exciting but poorly structured, and the mini map is no help at all. Most races you have to remember the routes to take, which can get frustrating. The environment feels lifeless but look great, and online seems really devoid of excitement. I strongly urge Criterion to restore the Burnout series with a proper Burnout structured game, ditch this open world nonsense!

Dear Robert Florence, I do know you and you may be a good guy or a git. However I respect you for having the balls to tell the truth against the establishment of gaming even at the cost of your own job, I for one salute what you did and hope you get a better job soon! On the nasty tone of industry shenanigans COD BLOPS2 reeks of some profession reviewers being 'brought off', not that the game is terrible because it isn't, however year after year this franchise (evil empire to some) hasn't changed an awful lot yet STILL gains the plaudits of many reviewers. Personally BLOPS1 was the zenith of the series, and I have now sick to death of the stale yet over familiar imperial story-lines, it's under current racism and Treyarch/Activision refusal to moderate the thousands of racist bigots online as they are the company main fan-base and money talks of course. Yes this game actually is quite different in many ways, however fundamental change is needed otherwise the series can eat itself to death, it and the industry puppets it attracts so well.

Firstly can Meta-critic implement a system where users can only post a review from the third day of release please, as there are no professional reviewers writing here who may have got the review code early to review it in depth. As anyone who would have got this early would have seen this game is a bug ridden mess, apparently a patch has been released today but why release a game BEFORE IT IS READY EA! This is the second pile of dog crap EA have churned out recently, with Fifa 13 being another bug ridden sweaty filled mess! This game though from what I could see has absolutely no identity to itself, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The bad thing is the set pieces and story are complete tosh, the typical America saves the world mantra is so tiresome yet developers have to continue their brainwashing the masses drive. Multiplayer has a lot of potential as the guns feel accurate, yet the bugs and the small bland environments is enough to warranty a three score as the game currently stands now.

FIFA Soccer 136
Oct 8, 2012
Remember 2007? Everybody has there own memory of that year but for me that was the year Pro Evolution woes became so bad that for the first time I picked up Fifa 08 and fell out of love with Konami game, now it's 2012 and that same feeling I had about Pro then I am currently having about Fifa 13 now! My grievance with Fifa has always been it's target audience, ie adolescent children and American 'soccer' wanna be's. That's fine EA as long as the game is generally worth playing and for last 4 years it has been, however this year is an unadulterated mess! The game mechanics are frankly broken, I welcome realism but not at the cost of game-play! Player touches are generally harder to control yet most players can smash the ball in the net from 25 yards or more, which is ridiculous considering most of their first touches are poor. Then you have the A.I, either playing the computer or the decisions it makes for you when you play an human opponent. This year the AI is appalling when controlling your players, yet are super human against you. No bad touches or ping pong deflections in their box, but almost 90% of the time in your own penalty area against the computer. That, and the supposedly intelligent runs forwards make which makes defending virtually impossible, even with high pressing. The career and and F2F seasons are much improved, very high quality but then FUT is extremely frustrating! NOOBS consistently play 5-2-1-2 or -4-5-1 and spam lofted through balls over your defence where their 90+ pace striker, regardless if he is 5ft 2, out paces and out muscles your 6ft+ defenders and scores! EA, that is utter BS! Again going back to EA target audience, there has only been 4 players I honestly can say have handed me a footballing lesson. However the rest of my opponents are complete NOOBS, yet win because of through ball spamming or ping pong sweaty goals or because they are so young they understand the broken mechanics where the rest of the adult world struggle. If EA continue this madness and pro continues to rise from the ashes, simply bye bye EA and your extortionate industry!

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier5
Jun 14, 2012
After playing GR 1 and in particular GRAF to its limits, I was pretty excited about a new future GR. After two delays and a near complete over haul what was left is a game which plagues the industry at present, a generic and short single player shooter with a flawed mutli player. Ubisoft have been upsetting me quite often recently, especially with their insistent 'all American save the world' crap they feel they must put in games to sell, however even that would be tolerated if the game didn't seem rushed. As the American hipsters say - EPIC FAIL!

The Walking Dead: Episode 1 - A New Day8
May 14, 2012
This game surprised me as I thought it would be in the same vein as Monkey Island, it's more in keeping with Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecies as you're a virtual passenger in terms of gameplay though with point and click. The brilliantly under-rated Deadly Premonition had a truly unforgettable story, this is good and a bold direction in terms of gaming. Though the different episodes are a clinical cash in, it's credit to Telltale that good things are being said of TWDE1. And (as Metacritic asked us, the users recently) I'm fed up of trolls who post when they BLATANTLY haven't played the game, and of users who can't review games properly ie decimal points for goodness sake. And anyone notice Edge magazine marking good/average games down and terrible games up? As they say, money talks!

Wow! A good game which unfortunately for Capcom and even more so for Namco doesn't scale the heights of past collaborations like the legendary CVS2. Though this game should be applauded for having possibly the best tutorial ever on a beat 'em up, where after completion and having understood the mechanics it's merely a matter of honing ones skill level. The gem system however isn't as defining as the game wants you to believe, it leaves noobies hopelessly exposed to veterans which breaks the balancing of matches, as with past SF's it was a simple matter of who was better most often wins. Single player is standard fair, multiplayer is good with the usual ranked, unranked lobbies and scramble battle which is where four players (2 v 2) battle it out with is great if your partner is capable. But a few things dragged the score down for me, first is the simplified move inputs which just doesn't sit well with me. Second is the inevitable DLC issue which frankly is day light robbery, yet again I find myself shaking my fists at Capcom for their incredulous greed. Though unfortunately with a total digital gaming era looming, they know they can get away with it for now. Lastly is the overly naked porn inspired women (Poison being the worst), when young boys play this I see no need to portray women in this manner. Many in the west may believe this as 'liberation', in reality it's exploitation of the worst kind! Capcom and Namco, please dress them next time or at least have the option to clothe them!

Silent Hill HD Collection6
Mar 28, 2012
Until they patch the poor sound and glitches in gameplay, then this gets a 6. Which is a shame because arguably SH2 and 3 were the best games in the series, barring the cult classic SH1 which set the high benchmark. The 'descaling' of fog in SH2 is nigh on blasphemy, the atmosphere is key to the psychological horror which these games are famous for yet they decide to remove elements of it? And the different voice acting on SH3 is not up to standard, again why include something that devalues the experience. These criminal proceedings and the controls deem this collection a wait for the price drop game, again Konami (look at Seabass and PES) have short-changed classics for the sake of a quick buck! All the above faults are inexplicable when Konami refused to include SH1, though I personally won't let this effect the memories I had from the originals. And who else is getting annoyed with xborn74 reviewing style?

Admittedly I never played MWF1 or 2 due to it's Neo-Con/Zionist/Racist propaganda, but have played most of the other COD's hence I think my assessment will be balanced. It's isn't a rubbish game, it isn't a great game, it simply is a game designed to appeal to kids and impressionable minds. My favourite COD is Blacks Ops as it had everything a shooter should have ie an excellent story, excellent multi-player and of course.....Zombies! MWF3 has a great cinematic story which is gripping, but the multi-player is a nest of adolescent children, racist immature thugs, and campers galore. But the gameplay is the real issue as it just isn't balanced, it's like Unreal Tournament but with different weapons. Everything is far too quick, yet lacks the polish and precision of games like GOW and BF. Spec ops is interesting for a while, but again gets boring quickly. Overall I think COD should stop the yearly releases to improve and redesign the formula, however they simply games for profit not entertainment. Or should I say, they entertain the simple to make money. Either way, stick with Black Ops!

Maybe I'm getting old or I've remembered the game with rose tinted glasses, but this game just feels a little off to me. Seems a little faster than the original, and parrying is more a game of chance than skill. It however is still an epic legend that is simply one of the more in-depth SF ever made, but with no real tutorial this isn't noob friendly, in-fact if you have never played this before than I strongly urge you to think long and hard before buying it! While in some parts it feels like better things are to come, eventually it gets so bad I completed the earlier levels merely for the sake of it and off it went! Don't get me wrong, this is one of the best and most important games ever to have ever been made thus far! And it's testament to Capcom that six years after its original release it still is highly entertaining, HOWEVER it's a massive stain against Capcom name that this is nothing but an expensive rip off! In these days of shameless cash-ins Capcom have been guilty more often than not of milky it's fanbase to death, please refer to SF4/SSF4/MvC3/SF3/DMC/etc. This port not only is expensive, but actually is just a straight up-scaled port of the Gamecube version. Yeap, no rescaled modelling, nothing new added, mercenary mode has to be unlocked, shameless cash-in! Still a legend in its own right, but I will never pay 1800MSP for this, not even 1200MSP!

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam7
Feb 15, 2011
Battlefield Bad Company series is my second favourite shooter behind Gears of War, and this add on pretty good. However the Vietnam setting and weaponry is so frustrating at times, as all the foliage has turned it into a campers paradise. Also the US soldiers are far more heavily armed than the N.V.A, and leveling up of weapons is a mystery! If it was 800 points then I would have given it an eight, but there isn't enough for me to justify buying it for 1200 points. Good but not great, went back to playing the normal Bad Company multiplayer after a few days.

Feb 11, 2011
Super Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter 4, Virtual Fighter 5, Soul Calibur 4, what do they all have in common? They are all far superior to Tekken 6. Do not get me wrong, Tekken 6 is probably the most fun to pick up and play for newcomers, and has the second best online features behind SF4/SSF4. But ultimately the unbalanced fighters and the extremely stupid cheap moves a barely able player can pull off are just terrible! The fighting is broken when a player is 'cornered', and don't get me started on the single player!!!! I kid you not, it is the WORST single player on a fighting game I have ever played! Utterly pointless and yet goes on seemingly forever, yet with absolutely no purpose behind it. So ultimately if you like cheesy fighting with a tedious campaign mode, play Tekken 6. Tekken 5 which is far better in my opinion.

After several days gameplay online I've changed my score from a 4 to an 8. Why? Because although the flaws I pointed out previously still are annoying, however online is where the most mileage is. Playing and beating friends scores, compelling mutli-player modes, auto targeting of new friends to include on your list, the scale of things to complete are amazing. However the car mechanics are woeful, as the majority of cars in the three different classes handle almost the same. And the pop up traffic still defies intellect! But it's great mindless fun online, so if you are going to buy this game make sure you have online enabled otherwise please see my 4 score review.

For a free game it definitely is a good game to experience, however the latter levels border on TrialsHD frustration. It's a good blend of the original Super Mario's and TrialsHD funnily enough, fiendish puzzle solving whilst trying to beat the clock. It excels for ultimately a game that has cost you nothing, however after completion it's down to individual desire whether to persist with getting better times or not. Overall it's very entertaining, especially if you have a lot of friends to battle against. I seriously don't understand some people? While Modern Warfare one and especially two were unoriginal neo-con wet dreams, some enjoyed it because as one put it on COD website: 'We get to nuke Arabs'! Pathetic simple minds, yet sadly common on xbox live. Treyarch for me are extremely under-rated as WAW and Black Ops are better more compelling games, yet because of mind-less fan boys they get smashed. This is the best game in the series without doubt, the longest yet best story mode, excellent and IMPROVED multiplayer, and comical (in a good sense) Zombie mode. Though yes it doesn't really stray from Modern Warfare template too often, so if gamers have any sense they would stop buying the yearly update and buy it every two years, as hopefully that's how long I'll be playing this for.

F1 2010 is the game I've been waiting years for, and mostly it hasn't disappointed. The career mode is wonderful crafted to adapt to your skill level once you've decided what that is, I went in gun-ho yet came crawling back to medium difficulty and the racing line to get to grips with the game. The speed of the cars are just right, every track has different bumps and levels of grip to slopes that add realism. It's a true sim racer dream, but if your a causal racer stick with GRID or Split/Second as it takes hours to learn one track and how a particular car handles. There are bad points, the wireless steering wheel is rubbish on this as the steering is far too light, pitting behind cars at times will drop you at the back of the grid for no reason, online racers think it's Mario Kart rather than a serious racer, and graphically on track is great but all else is poor! Overall if you're into F!, get it! If not, at least try it out armed with patience and the annoying music turned off!

Best adrenaline speed arcade game since Burnout Revenge, simply excellent fun! I read in another review that with this game less is more, I categorically agree! There are few game modes such as race, air revenge, time trial, elimination and survival, all of them make the hairs stand on the back of your neck especially with the faster unlocked cars. Online/split screen functions are basic, yet the sheer scale and depth of the racing and cars completely justify it's existence. Burnout had several different game defining features, SS defining feature is the ability to blow up the environment around you and boy does it create great mayhem! The only problem with this feature is though online experienced players will easily dodge them, and due to the sheer speed you'll doing crashing into your own explosions will happen too many times. However if you love arcading racing at it's best, you owe it to yourself to buy this buy, switch off the irritating music and let the excellent game do the rest! Midnight Club and Need for Speed are utterly pants compared to this, Disney have done well after the disappointing Pure.

Halo: Reach7

To make absolutely clear I am NOT a PS3 fanboy, as unfortunately there are many on here wasting space. Halo Reach was always going to be a bit of a emotional border, Halo Combat Evolved and Halo 2 are the best first person shooters (along with Half life 2) out there period! However it's 2010, and Reach feels like a watered down Halo 2. Why? For instance the single player is complete rubbish, absolute waste of time. Co-op fairs a little better, but both players will need to have the same level of dedication to wade through the tedium. Multiplayer was the only reason I got this and to be honest I am slightly underwhelmed! Rehash's of Halo maps from the past and Horde, sorry Firefight mode is good but not great. The new powers up are welcomed, and elite/swat death-matches bringing new and immensely fun moments. But ultimately is this game worth it? It's up to you whether you love the series of not, for me there are better games out there right now (like Bad Company 2 and Gears of War 2) but undeniable Halo is still immense fun, even though tiresomely familiar.

This game has potential, but however fails to deliver and ultimately is a waste of 1200 points. I was very keen to see how MNC would copy and add to the Team Fortress gameplay, the result was a generic and somewhat confusing mess that is fun for ten minutes only! I brought this on impulse, so don't make the same mistake and give it a miss!
