$125 for a remake, **** that was remastered already. Naughty Dog have become leaches, not to mention the sexual harassment cases at their studio and the crunch time of their employees. And yet no one bats an eye as long as they keep drowning people with re-release after re-release charged at maximum price. These reviews where people disregard all this and instead focus only on the fact that this re-releasex3 is a Gud GaMe is mind-boggling. Like KeenGamer giving this game 100/100, like wtf is wrong with people, did they get paid to write up this review?

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order7
Oct 25, 2021
People rating this game high aren't really thinking about how much better this game could've been, given EA's infinite budget. This is one of those games that NEEDS to be open-world, it needs NPC's populating the world, it needs crafting, it needs actual customization (like why is my Jedi carrying 20 jackets ponchos in his pocket), it needs to be an RPG. Star Wars isn't meant to be a Dark Souls rip-off - the saving system is **** - you spend half the time tracking back because you forgot to meditate at the 4000th save portal. like why are there so many save portals everywhere :S meditating anywhere (hello witcher 3) would've been more realistic and more game-friendly. - like WHY ON EARTH do enemies have to miraculously respawn and most of the time right behind you :S - what a lazy, pathetic, immersion breaking feature. Like EA should offload the Star Wars series to idk, Ubisoft, or Bethesda, Obsidian, someone who can develop a REAL open-world RPG experience.

Simply put, it doesn't deserve Game of the Year: the graphics are actually atrocious, I have taken several screenshots to reflect that; textures of leaves, plants, roots, tiles, books, some electronics are literally DRAWN and 1-dimensional, reminiscent of Ps3 days. The lighting is terrible, Metro Exodus pulled off Ray Tracing, how the hell did Naughty Dog who brag about their graphics not manage to at least have better lightning??? The game is not even open world and there are a dozen of better looking games like Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War (2018), Days Gone (which is a much better version of this game), Metro Exodus --- like how is TLOUP2 not even 4k? If you are sitting there with a 48', 50', 55'' or larger screen, I feel sorry for you. Gameplay, boring, an absolute chore. Somehow I can't believe that after spending years at a camp, that the characters will only have 1 or 2 bullets in their inventory, and the fact that melee weapons break so easy is hysterical. Like sure, I get that it increases the challenge, but this isn't the early 2010's where games can't find better ways to increase the challenge. A steel pipe or wrench simply won't snap in half after hitting a decaying corpse/clicker. Sound: no complaints Characters, well everyone knows the plot at this point, and I cant say I agree with what the game director thought was a good idea to kill a certain character, even staff at Naughty Dog questioned this. Stupid decision where the game designer tries too hard to be like Michael Bay or Ridley Scott. This is a game, we grow to love characters, we want to be able to control them, not have them and all the hours we spent on them, eliminated from the game leaving us only a teenager to control, like WTF. 3/10 OR 30/100 - I wonder which reviewers PlayStation paid to give this game a good rating. Because it certainly did NOT deserve to win GOTY over Ghost of Tsushima, Hades, Doom Eternal -- games that actually went all out with quality and didn't cut corners or completely ruin the plot.

A Plague Tale: Innocence6

I grow tired of Indie games getting fantastic reviews, like Plague Tale and Hades. Sure, they deserve praise and accolades, but do they REALLY deserve to have a spot in the same room as legendary titles like; Last of Us, Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim, Witcher, Metal Gear Solid, GTA, etc. Metacritic needs to find a way to balance these ratings. This game was fine, but 82/100 and 8/10 fine? Well, if a massive game like SkyrimSE is 81/100 (which has over 300 GOTY awards), how the hell does that even make sense? The game itself was, like i said, fun. But absolutely garbage compared to Skyrim. So these rating systems don't hold much integrity anymore it seems.

Pretty good game, the only thing I hated was the linear approach. I thought Skyrim, Witcher, Dragon Age, Mass Effect made it perfectly clear that what gamers want are open-world games. We the technology now to make a stunning open world game with fantastic visuals (Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone, Red Dead Redemption 2). In fact RDR2 on PC with maxed settings is LEAGUES ahead of Last of Us part 2 graphics, and its a huge open world, with a fantastic story. Naughty Dog are a wealthy company, so I would like to see them head in the same direction as Horizon Zero Dawn, yet another open world, stunning and story rich game.

Meh-tro Exodus. - boring - empty - bland - terrible engine (like worse than Skyrim before the SE version came out), like how is that possible for a 2019 game? The only thing i enjoyed about this game was the characters. And i played this on PS5 with the upgrades. Very meh game.

Incredible game. Not sure why the professional critics gave it bad ratings, clearly they are biased and unprofessional or too lop-sided to understand the feat that Sony Bend studios achieved. My argument is justified given how good the user score is. I played this game on PS5 and it was incredible, I went in with no expectations (which is what anyone and everyone should do cough*professional critics*cough). 8.5/10. Platinum trophy. Would love a sequel.

1) Graphics are absolutely atrocious. Yet people are forever saying PES looks better than FIFA. Look at their kits, not only are they unlicensed but they look like bloody clay! No physics whatsoever. Sure some faces look nice (and very animated unlike Fifa that looks more realistic), but Konami literally only creates a handful of faces and every other player looks like ass. They even left out Marco Reus!? How?! Why?! 2) why does anyone even appreciate this game when there is like nothing licensed within? 3) gameplay feels nice, until the super lazy and obnoxious scripting kicks in and suddenly you have one AI player completely outplaying you. Sure both Fifa and Pes has scripting (i hate scripting), but PES scripting is a horrible experience. Cant even say im looking forward to next gen, especially of all they focus on is graphics. The game needs a MAJOR gameplay and “master league” overhaul, and PAY FOR LICENSING for god sake.

Game is mediocre at best. It is not open world and yet the graphics are worse than Far Cry 5 and this is supposed to be a ps5 game? The character while appreciate she isn’t some blonde bimbo like in 9/10 Asian games, she is really plane and boring and doesn’t at ALL suit the combat role she has been placed in, she looks the type that would be a dog minder (you know those people that walk your dogs for you?) let a lone a combat ace. I've thought about whether to give this game a good review or not. I almost did, but it would be unfair to the gaming community as a whole, as I would be advocating online gambling and loot boxes essentially saying that it is OK to include that in games. The most painful issue I have with this game is the in-game shop and the way that this game has been monetized. ZOS claim to only sell cosmetics and conveniences, however both of these things clash with the core gameplay of ESO. There are a number of rewards which are only obtainable through purchasing crowns with money, and with extremely expensive costs too. The game is objectively worse off by the existence of these things. I can count on one hand the number of mounts you can collect in game, but the number of mounts you can buy or obtain through ZOS's loot boxes is closer to 100. This gives players less things to actually play for, less things to collect and fewer targets to set for themselves. In addition, you can buy time-savers which grant you ability points (if you've collected them on other characters), experience scrolls, mount training and the research scrolls for professions. The issue I take with the existence of these items is indicative of the fact that ZOS are aware that these grinds are a slug. They are literally time-gated; you can learn one mount training skill every 24 hours, of which there are 180 skills to spend. That is half a year of spending points to max out your mount training. This grind must be done on each character. The research scrolls speed up the rate at which you research a trait in a weapon. When researching a trait, you must wait an increasing amount of actual time before unlocking it and researching another. My main character has gotten to the point that she must wait 20+ days to learn a new trait in some professions. Or I can throw my wallet at ZOS and get it done instantly. ZOS, I want to enjoy your game, but you're making it so hard. This game has become a chore for people who cannot afford pay-to-win "cosmetics", but has become a breeze for new players who have the money to spend in the Crown store. The largest houses you can buy typically sell for around 14,000 crowns (a whopping $140 JUST FOR A digital HOUSE!) and are unobtainable otherwise... - just stop and think about that. On the other hand the housing system in the game is alright. However, it suffers when considering how expensive furnishings actually are, especially when compared to how little gold you actually get for just playing the game. While players can obtain some furniture pieces through playing the game, these are extremely few and far between when considering just how many furniture pieces there actually are in the game (majority of which are sold in store - because "cosmetics". The nicer furniture pieces are often priced at 10,000 gold, up to 100,000 for the fanciest pieces. When you only get 300 gold for completing a quest, as a player, you must look to get money through other systems if you want to engage fully with housing and furnishing. ZOS, PLEASE increase the amount of gold you get from quests. This leads me to the auction house in-game, and ESO plus. The best way to obtain money in this game, is by engaging in the auction house. I love the auction house system in the game, and the way it forces players to be a part ****). One thing to help you make gold is the use of the extra bank storage and (literally infinite) crafting bag you get when subscribing to ESO plus. If you plan to sell any crafting materials and you don't have the crafting bag, be prepared to have a full inventory every 10 minutes. It's like ZOS are aware that not playing with the crafting bag is a handicap, and so they move it to a pay-wall. There are other ways to make money in the game, such as farming for rare item drops for hours on end, hoping that one will eventually drop which you can sell for a lottery cash out ZOS are masters at creating problems and selling you the solution - if there is a way to make money, ZOS will find it. The in-game store and the monetization is in direct conflict with the soul of this game, and I never feel satisfied playing this game. I want to engage in the housing, but the rate at which I can actually buy furniture, if I just do quests is extraordinarily slow. The crowns I get with the ESO plus subscription make it a bit better, as they allow me to buy furniture and housing with crowns instead of gold, but I can't help but feel like this doesn't have to be a problem at all. ZOS, fix... no improve your monetization such that the game still has a soul, that it still offers players many more chances to obtain amazing loot by just playing the game, reward players - stop putting every damn thing in the Crown Store! I paid for this game and like many/every other PERSON that has also paid, we keep paying for every new chapter as well, let us play it without locking features behind time-gates and pay-walls.

Pro's - Gameplay is pretty fun. - Characters and voice acting is great - No micro-transcations! - Better than Anthem and honestly more fun than Destiny. Con's - OVER PRICED. - bugs, a lot of bugs which is unacceptable in a non-open-world, 3rd person shooter. - on PS5 the graphics are really... not good enough. They're nice, but come on, this was your opportunity to take advantage of the Ps5 hardware. - end game, it is like the developers didn't really know what the games true purpose was, where is the end game content, activities, raids, anything? meh/10

Cyberpunk 20771
Jan 11, 2021
4/10 This game is a generation-defining example of why not to hype yourself up for a game, no matter how much you trust the developers. Cyberpunk2077 is also the most disappointing game I have ever played in my 25 years of gaming. You have to ask yourself, did CD Projekt RED deliver what they promised? and did they meet expectations with Cyberpunk2077? Because for myself, they certainly did not. Found this review on Steam, and I thought it encapsulated the game perfectly for me: Let's start with the character customization. In all the marketing we saw, style and body modification were shown to be a huge part of what this game would be about. What we got, however, was unremarkable. Aside from customizable genitals (which except for in the inventory menu, you will never see again after you've created your character) this character creator had no more depth than your average character customization in games, and in a lot of areas, it had less. Many of the NPCs in the game have cool looking cybernetic eyes, arms, and legs, but your character has no access to any of that. In terms of cybernetics that affect your appearance, all you really have are the little bits of metal on your face. To make matters even worse, once you've created your V, that's it. You can't change your appearance any more. Despite the fact that the ads implied in Night City, you could change your appearance and and body on a whim, you can't. Not even your hairstyle or tattoos, let alone cybernetics. The next thing I want to talk about is character choice. Aside from the intro mission, and maybe a few bits at the end of the game, you really don't have much control over V's personality or choices. V essentially becomes the same character no matter what you choose. For example, I chose Corpo as my lifepath. After the very first introductory mission, V went from being a cold, calculating Corpo completely devoid of morals, to being a passionate, tough talking mercenary. I had no say in the personality shift, the change just happens, and it happens in literally minutes. The world itself was also a let down. I went into this thinking it would be a sprawling open world with lots of exploring to do and interesting things to discover. But what I found was, while it is clear that tons of effort went into crafting the beautiful city, it really doesn't go deeper than the surface level. Yes there are tons of NPCs walking around, but the city does not live and breathe. It is completely static, and the AI leaves a lot to be desired. As many have already pointed out, the AI seem to be the absolute bare minimum, they walk, talk, and run away if you scare them. That's it. The police AI are a complete joke. If you get in trouble with the law, police just spawn feet away from you, no matter where you are. In the middle of the desert, on a freeway, on top of a building, police just materialize out of nowhere. The story definitely had it's moments, and I did very much like the ending I got. I was very disappointed that you do not get to go back to Night City afterwards, and see how your decisions affect the world. Instead, you are simply given the opportunity to go back to your last save before starting the final mission. I found that story missions, side missions, and gigs all played pretty much the same way. Accept a job, go in either guns blazing or silently, find something, then get out and accept your payment. The cybernetics and gear system was weird, to say the least. Even playing on hard, I never had any reason to get into crafting or cybernetics to be powerful enough to get by. I wanted to get into cybernetics more, but even doing all the side missions and gigs didn't yield enough money to be able to afford the good stuff. By the end of the game. I had only added one or two new cybernetics to my character. I was also disappointed with V's apartment. You get one apartment, you can't get new or nicer ones. On top of that, there is no reason to ever return to the apartment you do have. Yes you can stash stuff there, but that's it, other than that it is pointless and you can forget it even exists. I also found it strange that there was no way to customize or upgrade cars. You spend so much time in your vehicles, but you can't do anything with them besides drive from point A to point B. This is tough, because if it had been advertised as what it is, I might have thought it was a really good game. But aside from visually, this game was not nearly as deep as I got the impression it would be. Part of the blame lies with me, after the Witcher 3 I had faith that CDPR would deliver another masterpiece. That was an unrealistic expectation I realize. But at the same time, I don't think anyone can deny that this game is not what we were told it would be. Yes it was probably largely the media that made expectations so high, but I do believe that CDPR did, in this case, overpromise and underdeliver.

An incredible game, but not mind-blowing in terms of anything we haven't seen before. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, I mean lets be honest. We aren't there yet in terms of delivering a crunching RPG open-world experience by the standards set by; Bethesda, Rockstar, **** Punch, Obsidian and Bioware, though Ubisoft is making giant leaps in that direction and I definitely appreciate it more and more each time. Would love it if Ubisoft removed the micro-transactions from the single player experience. Nothing more immersion breaking than having a digital store in your medieval single player. Would also love it if Ubisoft took the plunge and stepped away from the futuristic crap that obnoxiously pulls you out of the immersive medieval world they created.
