I can not even begin to stress how important it is that this movie has come out at this particular time. Despite what seemed like extreme hyperbole in 1971 when the book was written, every single bad aspect depicted within the pages is being witnessed all over the world. And it's only when we stop closing our eyes to the truth everywhere, open them, and stop believing the lies told to us by greedy dirt bags, that we can begin to start making positive changes for our environment, when we need it the most. There are so many trees we need to plant, so many species we need to save, and we need to protect our own health to. Humans "are" a cause of Earth pollution, but we can also be a part of the cure for the Earth health solution. This isn't just a film for kids, it's a film for the family, and for everyone to see. Because clean air, a healthy environment, and trees, are the things that everyone truly does need. (Okay, those last two rhymes were truly unintentional, but I think I've made my point!) Take the time to see this movie, and become enlightened today!

One of the best non-Disney/Pixar C.G.I. animated films I have seen in quite some time, "Rio" is a film filled with stunning animation, great characters, wonderful music, and everything comes together in a very cohesive, very believable way. Blu, a rare type of Macaw who has never learned how to fly, must embark on the adventure of his lifetime with the strong, independent Jewl, a female Macaw of his kind; both around and in the city of Rio De Janierio, Brazil. The film both figuratively, and literally soars with great moments for many of the characters featured within this movie. The heart of this movie is that there's a strong message, that by believing in yourself, there's almost no limit to what you can achieve. I loved this movie in theaters, and I can't wait to see it on Blu-Ray, literally! I highly recommend it for the entire family to see and enjoy! Enough said!

Despite what has happened both in Arnold Schwarzenegger's personal and political life, there can be no changing of the fact that Arnold helped make some of the most thrilling, action-packed adventure movies to ever grace the big screen back in his prime. If the first movie was good with Arnold being the evil Terminator hunting down the seemingly innocent Sarah Connor (while utilizing some very top notch special effects by 1984 standards,) this 1991 sequel is even better with Arnold being the good Terminator trying to prevent John Connor from being hunted down. This movie is well-placed, and focuses mainly on the three main characters, John, Sarah, and the now good Terminator as it should. This movie also gets high marks from me as it featured special effects that were WAY ahead of its time, courtesy of the new, evil Terminator that can regenerate its body, even when it's broken into dozens of pieces! This movie demonstrates that while we don't know for certain what is going to happen in the future, we are always in control of what happens in the present, and therefore, we all play a hand in shaping what the future will eventually have in store for us. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and I highly recommend it to people looking for some great thrills!

I think I can safely say that this movie is (and probably will remain) the best live-action film of 2011 by a long shot! No other live-action movie I've seen so far has come close to the level of epic coolness that I have seen in this movie, and from the looks of things, it appears very doubtful that there will be any live-action movie coming out in 2011 that could possibly come anywhere close to the level of epic coolness I have seen in this movie. The movie adaptations of the fantastic book series have been very faithful towards preserving the integrity originally written by J.K Rowling, and this movie brings a satisfying conclusion to what began nearly a full decade ago in 2001. It has been entertaining to see both the cast and characters change with every new adventure that took place, and even though this movie brings a close to the magical saga of Hogwarts, I was very satisfied with all of the action that took place on-screen, and I feel elated to have seen the entire movie saga all the way through. This movie is destined to join the ranks of movies like "The Wizard of Oz, The **** of Wrath, Casablanca, Pinnochio, Alice In Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins, The Diary of Anne Frank, Charlotte's Web," and "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy as superb movie adaptations of popular books. This is the movie to see in the year of 2011! Enough said, true believers!

This movie is a lot better than what many critics are trying to make it out to be. I am a fan of the Green Lantern super-hero idea (and not just because my favorite color IS Green) but because of the fact that the powers **** Lantern is that while a chosen one wears the green ring, he and/or she and/or it can create virtually anything they can think up of in their mind. The character designs, C.G.I. and special effects were all amazing, and the actors/actresses' who made up this movie all played their parts to perfection! Comic book fanatics will be especially pleased, as this movie explores in great detail, the origin of one of the greatest Green Lanterns (some would even argue the BEST Green Lantern ever) known as Hal Jordan. If you want to see action, romance, and humor in a comic book superhero movie, than this is a great movie to see! :D And a sequel is definitely not out of the question, I recommend checking it out to see what I mean. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I highly recommend it! Enough said! ;)

You'll find it very hard to find a live-action movie rendition of an animated series that does a better job of capturing the feeling of the cartoon that this movie manages to contain! The set locations, props, special effects, and miscellaneous tools used within the movie all look like vintage stone age high tech, the plot is grade-A and is carried out magnificently by the actors and actresses picked to portray the Modern Stone Age Family. John Goodman is the heart of soul of all that Fred Flintstone is; Elizabeth Perkins is perfect as the red-haired hot wife Wilma who takes no nonsense no matter what Fred tries to tell her otherwise, Rick Moranis does a superb job of acting as the well-meaning, but often trouble-making neighbor that is Barney Rubble; Rosie O'Donnell is great as the warm and caring Betty Rubble who wants to be a loving mother to her adopted child; Elizabeth Taylor has rarely ever been better than in her last big-budget movie appearance ever, as Fred's insufferable Mother-In-Law, Pearl; Kyle Maclachlan plays the role of a scheming, greedy tycoon named Cliff Vandercave; while Halle Berry is the charming, seductive accomplice named Sharon Stone; Harvey Korman provides hilarious voice-work as the Dicta-bird who tries to provide advice to Fred Flintstone, Johnathan Winters has a surprising bit part as an out-of work Rock Quarry worker, and original cartoon series alums William Hanna, Jean Vanderpyl, and Joseph Barbera (sometimes omitted) even make cameo appearances! If you want to have a Yabba-Dabba-Doo time watching a big, live-action movie version of a cartoon series, than this is the movie to watch! Fun for children and adults of all ages! :D Enough said, true believers! ;)

I can't believe all of these horrid reviews that trash this movie for no good reason! "Chicken Little" is an excellent movie with a lot of heart and soul. It's about liking yourself for who you are, and speaks about the importance of communication, team-work, and friendship. All I am saying, is to give this movie a chance! I did! I highly enjoyed it, and so will anybody else who doesn't have a close-minded, rigid, narrow view point!

I consider this movie to be the birth of the modern movie film industry, mainly because this cinematic masterpiece set a high standard for all movies to measure themselves against for many years to come! The songs and music are absolutely perfect, the choreography is amazing, every line said is a memorable one, the settings, paintings, props, and make-up used to create the unique location, characters, and objects featured in the land of Oz are absolutely incredible (especially when you consider this film was made way back in 1939!) All of the actors play their roles to perfection. When they experience something, you believe they are experiencing it! This is one of the films that I was first raised on, and one that I enjoy as much as I do today as I have when I was growing up. Time has been powerless to make any of the special effects (which can still hold their own even against modern C.G.I. efforts) feel like they are antiques, and the amount of effort and skill required to completely pull this movie together is nothing short of incredible! This is a film you will want to watch, to see what it's like for someone to go somewhere over the rainbow, follow a yellow brick road, go off to see the wizard in the merry old land of Oz, and watch characters singing about what it would be like to have a brain, a heart, or the nerve! I highly enjoy this movie, and so will all cinematic movie enthusiasts of all ages who enjoy seeing quality movies! Enough said!
