this season was certainly slower than the masterful season that preceded it, but it was still absolutely brilliant considering the trash that most people watch on television today.

Following Season Five's shocking and unexpected finale Vic Makey, unaware of the truth, sets out to avenge the death of one of his closest friends as well as continuing to fight against the gang activity in the Farmington District. Despite the writers' strike resulting in a slightly shortened ten episode season anyone that has enjoyed The Shield up to this point will certainly not be disappointed. The writing, acting and directing continue to be superior to virtually any other show ever seen on television providing truly gripping drama in which nothing is ever black and white.
