Amazing season of the shield - so much happens its unreal. Excellent performances from most of the cast both new and old, a lot of character development this season but never misses the beat with some great action pieces spread throughout. The show feels very fresh due to the changes with the team and the general story arc and thats a really big deal for a show in its 4th season where it would have been very easy to keep things the way they have always been.

The Strike Team find themselves involved with a highly respected drug lord who ends up blackmailing Vendrell into assisting him. Mackey, with the help of the new Barn Captain Monica Rawling, must find a way to help his friend and bring the drug lord to justice... As viewers of this show will have come to expect by now The Shield delivers intense drama in spades thanks to its fantastic cast and writing, and four seasons in this surely ranks amongst the best drama series ever shown on TV.
