Sexism, institutional racism, pay inequity: You name the hot-button issue, The Morning Show pokes it. With Sleepy Hollow's terrific Nicole Baharie as UBA's latest high-profile hire, a Black former Olympian who isn't afraid to speak her mind, the stakes couldn't e higher or the fireworks more satisfying. If there’s no such thing as a guilty pleasure, then watching this is a kind of glorious masochism. That everyone involved is so talented helps. And there’s just something about watching the whole thing unfold that is addictive, like most bad habits.

Liberal woman fanfair. I just can't get through it. Even my wife has a hard time watching this.

Yeah, as much as it hurts to say, but season 3's plot is disjointed, political, superficial and less interested in exploring deep structural issues (like "me too" in season 1) and opposed to retredding simple plot points we've seen elsewhere (tech billionaire takeover).

“The Morning Show” isn’t exactly the sharp analysis of modern journalism that it might have promised in its first season, but it’s become almost more enjoyable by simply getting more ridiculous.

The series is fascinating not for its innovation, but for how it has managed to morph into a bog-standard primetime soap in the glossiest of packaging, and become so much more watchable for it.

To join top-tier dramas, as opposed to just a breezy diversion, it needs to be smarter about fighting the battles that it does.

I’m finding it irritating. Or, rather, I’m finding Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon’s Alex Levy and Bradley Jackson, two news anchors on an American news network, irritating.

And so for series three, we’re left with a monotonous workplace drama with no decent storylines.

This season, timing wise, couldn’t be more ironic. the pandemic wasn’t that bad, media make it look like it was really bad, we all know that now, but this new season, after all of the revelations come out, they still push it. Pathetic. This season will suffer.

Woke and boring, with pandemic historical revisionism. Come on, nobody called it Covid at the beginning of the pandemic. It was Coronavirus, Corona, even the Wuhan virus. It wasn't until maybe a year in that the media settled on Covid, and that was after Covid-19. This is a small detail of course, but it's symptomatic of what's wrong with this show. It's afraid of its own shadow. The most real it gets is having a rural Southerner in an elitist milieu, but even then they managed to make her a lesbian, sorry bisexual, with a pill-popping wet trash family. Yawn ! Boring !

I really enjoyed the first two seasons. Season three is unwatchable. The fault lies almost entirely on the writing.
