Suburra is an experience saturated with color, sound, and sin. Ultimately it doesn’t seem to offer any insights into the human condition except that being rotten is pretty much universal. But its depiction of a modern-day Rome with all the evil that men do is a raw and compelling one, uncolored by sentiment and nostalgia. This could be Netflix’s next big foreign addiction

Great series. It's worth watching in the Italian original using the subtitles, as the dubbing is atrocious and does no justice to the dialects Rome, Ostia and gypsy that characterize the series.

La peggiore serie TV mai vista. Figurine di cartone scritte malissimo e dalle psicologie inspiegabili si muovono in modo insensato e casuale in un teatrino di alleanze, omicidi, amori e lotte senza senso né direzione che spesso sfiora ilnridicolo.
