Sons is on track to stand among the best TV shows of our current golden age, and we have two more seasons to watch it get there.

The show doesn’t only deliver fast-paced action and fine performances, but also, increasingly, poses questions concerning responsibility.

SOA's sixth season began as the same old riveting, darkly comical, and violently entertaining story that broke new ground (especially with A Mother's Work, but the somewhat unnecessary major character deaths turned the story into a cold-blooded nothingness. Best Episodes: "A Mother's Work", "Straw", "John 8;32", "Wolfsangel", "The Mad King".

This season had the craziest finale of any show I have seen! AMAZING! Have loved the show from the beginning, and season 6 was great, plot twists at every corner!

When it achieves its loftier goals, it’s usually quiet. Hunnam, in fact, is best when he doesn’t speak. He can convey plenty with looks, simple gestures. Katey Sagal is potent, too, as Jax’s mom and the queen of the SOA.

At this point, Jax is so wishy-washy, it's hard not to root for the bad guys, especially since Lee has become the show's most entertaining villain. SOA always wrenches great comedy from gross-out violence, and Logue masters that art.

The series remains an immersive experience, and the cast has been gradually upgraded with the addition of players like Jimmy Smits.

As intrigued as I am by Sutter's willingness to bite off something bigger than his character's tongue to tell a story about the true costs of SAMCRO's business dealings, I'm not sure this is the time, or the place.

There's too much meandering without meaningful payoffs.

I just finished binge watching all six seasons of this series over the past two weeks. I can't believe how much I enjoyed it. Especially seasons 3 and 4. I found myself thinking and wondering what was going to happen even when I wasn't watching the show. The bizarreness of some of the characters and the way the show is able to expose the vulnerable sides (and also the weirdness) of these super-tough motorcycle guys makes for compelling TV. This show has definitely broken into my top 5 of all time. The only negative I have is that, to me, it seems that so many significant characters end up dead that is spoils the realism a bit and I really didn't like the way the final show of the 6th season ended (I could change my mind about this after the 7th season starts.)

I agree with the below reviewer about flawed characters. Ever since Dexter ended I needed a new show so I got into SOA and the character flaw-ness/depth-ness has thus far lived up to Dexter a lot. So much going on and intersecting/overlapping plots. It really is a great show. This season is the best one yet.

The first few series were OKAY, it relieved boredom from time to time but the 6th series is the worst yet. I'll watch the last episode because you sort of have to, but it's not a series I would ever watch a second time.

This show has turned from gold to garbage a steaming pile of hollywood dog crap with no understanding of bike club values and loyalty. So disappointing from such a great start.

I cannot believe that this show is still going on. Utter garbage. I can't believe that it has made it to six seasons of an utter pointless and trashy snoozefest.
