This is soooooo overrated, totally a waste of time. I can’t believe I wasted my time on this, I rather watching 1155 episodes of One Piece instead of this, and man, it was so boring. The story is maybe one of the worst things I’ve ever seen since I started watching anime, the fights are really good but the story and character development are so bad that I just wanted to rip out my eyes
I don’t know why people like this show that much, this is just a cheap story and lazy writing.
I didn’t feel anything with this show

Don't you hate when something looks SO good and then when you watch it you wonder if the writers even had a plan. That is this anime. The graphics are lovely, soundtrack is pretty, animation is some of the best I've ever seen. The fighting scenes take my breath away. So how can anyone take all these wonderful elements and crap on them with the sewage that is the writing. I can't be bothered to know much less care about any of the characters because they are all unimportant. There is no character development aside from the main character who I also don't care about because he is just unlikable. I haven't been this disgusted since Suicide Squad (2016).

An anime that isn't worth your time. Premise: I watched the whole thing with no hype or outside influence — just genuine curiosity, like I do with every anime I watch. Solo Leveling starts with an interesting premise, but quickly proves to be entirely forgettable. The plot never offers anything truly engaging, the characters are shallow and unmemorable, and the story development is predictable at best. The animation is passable at times, but even that fails to elevate the experience. I gave it 4 stars just to stay consistent with my personal rating system—but honestly, that’s a generous score for such a poorly executed anime.

Solo Leveling really caught my attention with its sharp, polished animation and a story that blends action with RPG-style game mechanics, which I personally found really cool as a gamer. Watching the main character go from being weak and powerless to incredibly strong was satisfying, and the battles were intense and well-choreographed, with villains who had enough presence to keep things interesting. However, there were times when the main character felt almost too powerful, which made some fights less exciting because the outcome seemed obvious. Also, a few episodes felt slower and more like filler, which broke the pacing a bit. Despite these flaws, I enjoyed the overall experience.

One of the worst anime I've ever seen. The art is kind of cool, but where's the FPS? Am I watching a Powerpoint or an anime? This anime is literally for 9 year old girls. And they're attracted to this anime because of the supposedly cool Seong Jin Woo, but then why don't you like Aizen? Oh my god, some girls also wrote that they were worried about Seong Jin Woo many times and even cried at some points. HOW? A man will only cry when Doomguy revives his rabbit, and the girl from Solo Leveling will cry at every moment of Solo Leveling.

Power Fantasy Focus: find the series overly focused on the protagonist's power and progression, with little exploration of the emotional consequences or complexities of his journey. Side Character Treatment: The protagonist's rapid growth and seemingly detached nature can lead to the sidelining or even disregard for the struggles and lives of other characters, which some find unsatisfying. Lack of Emotional Depth: The story's focus on action and power can feel like the series lacks emotional resonance or genuine character development beyond the protagonist. Overly Simplistic Plot: the plot is too straightforward and predictable, lacking the complexity or nuance that they would prefer. Unnecessary Deaths: the protagonist's power allows him to easily resolve situations, making the deaths of other hunters seem unnecessary and contrived. Character Inconsistencies: the protagonist's character development is inconsistent, with him seemingly shifting from an emotional hero to a stoic, emotionless figure.

Solo Leveling is a manhwa(Korean Comic) adaptation that I was very excited for. As a reader of the comic I had high expectations for the anime. In terms of the over arching story we go through in this season, we have just scratched the surface of Sung Jinwoo's powers and saw minor progress in his actual abilities. I think from my perspective the pacing was rather slow and there were periods in this were it felt like we were making little to no progress in the story. I think the primary goal of this season really felt like it was just trying to connect the viewer to Jinwoo but because we don't see or know much about him I feel like that aspect falls a little short of what viewers wanted.I think were the series shined and what gained it much needed attention was the fight scenes. Each major fight this season was better than the last and I think as long as they can maintain their budget season two will only go up from here. Overall, I think this season was a good set up to get people into the series and get excited for the 2nd Season. Stay ready because the next arc is going to be one you have to watch!

Had a Really Good Start, but as we continued, like most games I play once you get overpowered you can only see the same reaction to his powers through the other characters for so long. I am not the biggest fan of these kinds of shows, but this one is interesting because it took a Korean Webtoon and created and Japanese Anime through the source material. Visually stunning even if the plot is becoming much to be desired.
