It's Thanksgiving, and while Lisa and Heather are having their first holiday without Michael, Michael is "invited" by Dr. Morris to his sister's house for dinner. Roger inadvertently brings uninvited guests to Lisa's house.

Lisa gives in to Gerald's pleas for a date. Physiologist Dr. Taylor is brought in to make Michael a more effective "warrior."

Dr. Morris pushes Michael to further test his physical limits. Meanwhile, Lisa continues to cope with life without her husband. As tensions rise, Michael faces a personal dilemma that challenges his sense of identity.

Dr. Morris tests Michael's resilience to the elements. Also, Michael gives Morris relationship advice when he falls for a married woman. Meanwhile, Michael's wife tries spending some quality time with their daughter.

Dr. Morris teaches Michael how to use his sonic sensitivity. They also investigate a suspicious death supposedly caused by spontaneous combustion. Meanwhile, Michael's wife asks Roger to give her daughter driving lessons.
