I enjoyed this show. Lots of twist and turns along the way. It does get messy near the end but the mess oddly enough pulled me wanting more. The cliffhanger was insane and I hope we get a second season soon! 8/10 and definitely recommend if you enjoy crime/ suspense shows.

There is so much bad about this series I don't even know where to begin. The acting is so bad it's almost laughable. The characters are unbelievable. I was able to watch the series because I pretended it was like watching a bunch of 5th graders dressed up like adults trying to be serious. Yelling! There is so much yelling that you can count on every single scene having at least two people yelling and swearing at each other. The entire story line could have been played out in three episodes. Terrible storyline, terrible acting, ridiculous dialog... Don't waste your time, it's a joke.

I have a suspicion that AI wrote this show. The amount of exposition is wild and makes for very awkward dialogue, but it makes sense if you look at it through an algorithmic lens. I tried this show out because I saw that it was getting really high reviews, but now I'm also suspicious of these reviews. This is my crazy theory: Netflix is testing out an AI-written show and is paying reviewers to rate it highly, or those high reviews are coming from AI bots made by Netflix. That being said, I only made it halfway through the first episode, so I understand my opinion isn't credible for the whole season. I just don't know how it could truly get better. I don't know if a show can ever make up for such a lazy start.

Nemesis surprised me in the best way possible. It's rare nowadays to find a series that keeps you fully invested from start to finish, but this one absolutely did. The writing, pacing, acting, editing... everything felt very well done and polished. The best part for me was how unpredictable it was. Just when you think you understand a character or where the story is going, the show flips everything around. Some characters made me love them one episode and hate them the next. That emotional back and forth made the whole experience even better. Also, the production quality and soundtrack were honestly top tier. This is easily one of the strongest Netflix series I've seen recently and definitely deserves way more praise than it's getting online.

Wow this series is bad. Overacting, horrible writing, fluff stuffed all over to chew up time. I dig heist movies/series but the heist was in the back seat the entire time with dramatic BS riding shotgun. Matthew Law is terrible in this, felt like evey scene he only had 1 ****.

I really wanted to like Nemesis because the concept had potential, but the execution just didn’t hit for me. The biggest issue was Matthew Law’s performance. A lot of the emotional scenes felt forced, almost like he was reading emotions instead of actually feeling them. His facial expressions rarely matched the intensity of the situations, which made some of the dramatic moments come across as fake and **** a crime thriller, you need actors who can pull you into the tension and make you believe every reaction. Unfortunately, too many scenes felt stiff and awkward, and it took me out of the story constantly. The supporting cast tried to carry the weight, but the lack of believable emotional depth from the lead made the entire show feel less authentic than it should have **** the worst show ever, but definitely one of those series where the acting keeps you from getting fully invested.

Despite the truly atrocious acting, absurd writing, and tired story line, for some reason Hollywood critics fall on their knees for this inconsequential TV show. I wonder why they feign adoration for this clearly awful production? Are they obtuse, or are they motivated by other reasons? Hmm I can't imagine. We laughed at all this and turned the show off after about 30 minutes. It's all just hilarious.
