This is a great series. However, why are mostly strong women associated with lesbianism. This is just not true. The story line without lesbianism would be a 5, but with it, a 3.

Season 1 was stunning, season 2 turned out to be a rehash with the same romance arc and everything. Also that battle in the final episode was awful, like Iron Eagle 2 awful. Whoever designed and choreographed that should never be allowed near military hardware on film again.

Great acting and very well written storyline. And the top notch acting goes beyond the stars in this series - all the key characters are well played. The first season has more intense drama between the characters and the second season has much more action. While I enjoyed both seasons, I actually preferred the storyline more with season 1. Also, besides the main plot in each season, there are multiple storylines in both seasons that are tense and interesting.

This is awful. So much talent wasted on a ridiculous script. I guess if you are looking for something silly or absurd, this is one for you.

Top shelf casting. Lots of excellent acting. The scripts are a little over the top - but, very interesting and topical.

Overwhelmingly reactionary and vapid. Incredible actors and most of the show is well produced and directed. The entire cast and crew tried to save it, but every single piece of dialogue and the infantile understanding of US government, politics, and military is laughable and Obviously a product of Taylor Sheridan. In spite of Saldana, Kidman, Freeman, etc. it's just flatlining **** slop.

I found the show to be well paced and emersive, with outstanding acting worthy of academy awards, especially from Zoe and Laysla. It is by far one of the best shows airing today.

I really enjoyed watching Special Ops Lioness. It seemed clichéd at first, but is a fast-paced and action-packed series that is sure to keep you entertained. The characters are well-developed, I became genuinely interested in what will happen next with each character and the plot is engaging. The series also has a strong female cast, which is refreshing to see in a genre that is often dominated by men. Everything about this show makes me want to come back for more. It is so realistic. The job, the family, all of it. Strongly recommend this series to anyone who likes good scripts and great acting.

Loved it. Saldana, Kidman & Michael Kelly are fantastic. Edge of seat thriller. Can’t wait for season 2.

Great TV show, interesting story and characters, was hooked for every minute and always wanted to watch the next episode immediately. 100% worth a watch ! Hope for a 2nd season.

While a bit better than most of the Sheradiverse, it's still ultimately the same reactionary dreck that's made him famous. The entire family subplot is trite and a dull pretext for Dave Anabel's sanctimonious bloviating. I know Sheradin can't make a show without including a daddy for some exposition about the corruption of the modern world or whatever, but the entire thing is so heavy handed it makes it harder to take the ¿critique? of American imperialism seriously. At least Zoe Saldana gives a compelling performance and the action is pretty good.

Impressive

As a 20 year veteran, this is the laziest attempt at recreating military life, specifically the Marine Corps and special operations. It is the worst and most inaccurate portrayal. They made zero effort to demonstrate the profressionalism of the actual Female Engagement Team (F. E. T.)/Lioness Program. Even for entertainments sake the plot, story, accuracy, is the worst Taylor Sheridan has done this far. Cheap cash grab, don't waste your time. There are plenty of Marine Corps veterans who would have been happy to provide services as an advisor, i.e. Former Drill Instructors, MARSOC operators, or any Marine in general. The Producers and Director deliver the viewers the same offensive stereotypical portrayals of service mebers and reflect how disconnected Hollywood is from veterans and military service. It's pure laziness. I feel sorry for the excellent actors here for being associated with this show. Critics who have rated this as excellent are either paid for or just tone deaf.

What started out promising drifted midway through and then ended very poorly. Zoe was superb. I thought her character was well written and acted. The other star power really pulled their weight too. But ultimately the show devolved into weak story telling, over acted characters, and unbelievable plot points. I knew halfway through it wouldn’t end well. Way too much drama devoted to side characters and backstory that was needless. I actually fast forwarded through most of that to just watch the operational parts. It’s truly sad because this show could have been so much better and really launched a new series. But with how this one played out I wouldn’t bother watching another.

Even though Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman are the stars, they play bosses of the woman doing the work (Laysla De Oliveira). She's a new recruit to the special secret ops group and her mission is to befriend the daughter of a wealthy funder for terrorists. Her training and subsequent involvement forms the crux of the story with the other 2 women confronting the political and logistical consequences. Creator Taylor Sheridan has placed the emphasis on female characters with their personal relationships adding an emotional connection, but the thrust is really about the covert ops. There are a few moments of tough physical encounters to maintain the action adjective, but the focus is on the mental challenges these characters face, so there's lots of Sheridan's spicy chatter punctuated by spurts of violence.

I recently watched the new Paramount+ series Special Ops: Lioness, and I was impressed. The series stars Zoe Saldaña as Joe, a marine who leads an elite unit of female soldiers who are trained to go undercover and befriend the wives, girlfriends, or daughters of high-value terrorist targets. I was drawn to the series by its strong female characters. Joe is a complex and relatable protagonist, and I found myself rooting for her and her team throughout the series. The supporting characters are also well-developed, and I enjoyed seeing their relationships with each other develop over the course of the season. The action sequences in the series are also top-notch. The show doesn't shy away from violence, but it never feels gratuitous. The action is always grounded in the characters and their stories, which makes it all the more impactful. Overall, I thought Special Ops: Lioness was an excellent series. It's a must-watch for fans of military thrillers and strong female characters.

A show you didn’t know you needed. You’ll be drawn in and wanting more which is unfortunate because the series is only 8 episodes. Interesting plots, fresh writing, and overall good pace although the episode 6 seemed to be a bit slower than the prior episodes. The entire cast is bad a$$ and it’s cool seeing such heavy hitters in the small screen. If it wasn’t for the Hollywood strikes, you would see more promotion of this awesome and entertaining series. Fingers crossed for a second season and beyond.

awesome! action and plot are perfect! the tesion is papable and espectations are broken all the time for some time after we got ourselves surprised for something awesome!

I watched the first two episodes and was shocked with the feminist propaganda spewing all over the screen. It was awful. I tried to ignore it to maybe enjoy the other parts of the show but I couldn't. Our recommendation is: "Don't waste your time unless you think 5'6" girls can beat the crap out of six 6'4" special forces operators."

Opens with a propagandized scenario... "protagonists" (CIA/OGA/Marines/DOD) attack Syrians, Iran & (CIA-funded) ISIS, etc. In reality the US are illegally occupying Syria, stealing oil and had the guts to hire the PKK to use chlorine gas on them. I am not surprised... everything out of the US is warmonger garbage at the hands of the bad guys. You can't "protect the weak" by killing the weak.

Pretty decent series with great acting of Laysla de Oliveira. Tension, good writing and music.

This show aims itself at the male audience through military, weapons and special forces with a mission to inject feminist agenda that women are victims to sexual harassment/assault propaganda in a simple exchange **** story. If this was real life the main character would have no issue going through any of that.

So far a decent show, let's see where this is going, there is a lot of potential here. The cast does a good job. I give it a 7 at this point, but might still go up.
