Multiple story lines. I am very interested to see how the story lines intersect in Part 2. Interesting characters, played well by the actors/actresses. I am a little surprised the film did not do better at the box office, although I believe the main reason is that Western's are not that popular any more. Still, as Western's go, this one is decent and worth the watch.

Just a bad all around movie. Poor character development - really just one main character (the girl). The plot leads to either a story about mental illness, alien abduction, cloning, or time travel. The final scene leaves one to decide if this really was an alien abduction or mental illness. I know which one I believe it was - won't spoil it here. Lots of 'weirdness' throughout the whole movie and a plot I didn;t really care about. A lot of fast forwarding to get to the end quicker.

A really bad movie. Poor acting and poor story line. They threw in a twist in the last 30 minutes of the movie which didn't really make sense and for which no really background information was presented as to why what happened generations ago happened. After watching the first 30 minutes and straight through - I was giving the movie a chance since the rating on the streaming provider was high - I fast forwarded through about half of the remaining 60 minutes since the movie was so painful to watch. Why not just stop watching after 30 minutes? Since I had time invested I wanted to see how the movie ended. Very disappointed in this movie.

This was a movie that just wouldn't end. The story line was weak through all three movies. I never really could get way the original characters had to live in the Maze. The second movie ever did tie in well as to the correlation of why living in the Maze would be helpful to a cure for the outside apocalyptic world. This last movie just didn't have a good story line I could get behind. The ending was a bust and dragged on and on and on and ..... I also think each movie was worse than its predecessor. The first movie I actually liked. The two sequels were a big waste of time.

I feel sorry for the poor souls who did not think this was a good movie. Attended with my 11 year old. All ages attended. Two college age gals sat next to my son and I. The theatre was packed. There was constant laughter throughout the movie. When the movie was over most in the theatre applauded. I can't remember the last time I was at a movie that draw a load applause at the end. There was a lot of action, great humor, and a good story-line. This was about as perfect as an animated film can get. The sequel matched the original. I am sure it won't take another 10 years for another Incredibles movie.

This movie was one big disappointment for me. It was pretty much a redo of the first Alien movie released in 1979. NOw, that first Alien movie is one of my all-time favorites. However, Alien Covenant is just a cheap knock-off of the same story-line. Spaceship has problems, hears a signal from an unknown source, goes to investigate, runs into Aliens, etc. Once I got through the first 20 minutes of the movie and saw the direction it was taking, I pretty much guessed everything that was going to happen afterwords - including the ending which I won't reveal here. But if you have seen the original Alien movie and you then watch this movie you will see what I mean. If you have never seen the original Alien movie then my all means skip this movie and watch the original. A much better movie.

JUst saw this movie on regular TV last night. Glad I didn't pay to see. This movie is bad, really bad!. Horrible acting, bad script, slow moving. You can see that they are setting up for a 2nd Fantastic Four movie to follow this first one and although I am sure there will be another remake sometime in the future, it won't be with this cast and director. I watch the movie in the evening and actually had a hard time staying awake. The reviews for this movie are dead on. I have to give it a zero since I can't think of one part of the movie I enjoyed. Don't waste your time like I did.

Horrible movie, can't believe it rated as high as it did. The story is hard to follow at the beginning and jumps around. The storyline is predictable and not that interesting. Acting is marginal. In fact, the actors in the movie perform as B movie caliber - kind of reminds me of a bad 50's horror movie. Their are the 'required' scenes that make your heart pound harder as you anticipate something scary jumping out or appearing out of nowhere - the typical shock scene. The ending it predictable - just think how 90% of these type's of movies end (that's all I'll say). I vote a waste of time.

I am giving this a '0' since I was so disappointed in this movie. I had high expectations due to the positive ratings. In a nutshell, this movie has no storyline other than about 1/2 of the population are assassins, these assassins try to kill John Wick but they literally can't hit the broad side of a barn if they were standing 10 feet away, and then John Wick kills them. Not kidding - John Wick easily kills over 300 supposedly trained assassins in this movie. John Wick has no personally to sympathize with. If you are looking for non-stop action, which doesn't always make a movie good, and lots of blood and guts and heads being blown off, then you might like this movie. I ended up fast-forwarding through some of the major action scenes since they were all pretty much the same - 100 assassins come after John Wick and he kills them all. So I knew where the scene was headed and just wanted to get closer to the end of the movie.

Do many movies are been there done that movies with predictable story lines. In fact most movies these days are like this and still, can be good movies. I still enjoy the Star Wars movies even though they follow similar story lines, just different characters from generation to generation. Look at all the X Men movies - most good, yet similar story lines. Most love stories - you pretty much know how it's going to end - maybe jut not how it's going to get there. But this movie is one of a kind. In a way it's somewhat similar to the movie Forrest Gump in that it deals with a very unique individual who is different than everyone else, mixes in a love story, and also adventures along the way. I really enjoyed the movie. It wasn't intense from an action perspective, more from an emotional perspective. A well told story that I think most will enjoy. It is a long movie - nothing says you can split it in two and watch it over two nights.

Great movie, the story line flowed well and was true to the character. The acting was superb – possibly a few award nominations coming. I really can’t think of any flaws with the movie and when it ended and we arrived home, my boys (I took my 9 and 11 year old sons) immediately googled to see when the sequel will be coming. The characters are well defined – you get to know them well. There is lots of action and when there isn’t action, there is intrigue. What more can I say – the movie kept me/us engaged from start to finish.

I had high hopes for this third installment of the new Star Trek series and was somewhat disappointed in this movie. It is certainly the lessor of the three so far in this series. Prior to going to the movie I was surprised to see the movie scored less than 70 on Metacritic. And the movie started out great. After the first 30 minutes and the attack on the Starship Enterprise scene, I was on my way to rating this movie a 9. However, the middle of the movie was very average and I think the director missed out on opportunities to expand on the story line. Still, I was on my way to giving the movie a high rating. But the 'twist' they through in at the end of the movie makes no sense at all and to me really downgraded the overall movie. It got me and my wife both questioning how the overall movie really fit together as the 'twist' at the end really did not fit well at all with the rest of the movie. I know these types of movies are fantasy, just as with the Avenger series. But you at least need a story line that is plausible within the context of the movie. When you see the movie you'll know what I mean. So in the end, an average movie which is disappointing since I expected so much more.

I am rating this movie from the perspective that its primary goal is to target the under 13 crowd. Great script for a 'cartoon' movie and great humor. The movie flowed well and not only satisfied the under 13 crowd, but was a hit with everyone. We watched this movie at a packed outdoor theater with more than half the audience watching outside their vehicles. When the movie ended, there was a loud applause of satisfaction with the movie. If you have kids - ours are 9 and 10 - they'll love the movie. And that was the main goal for this movie - to make kids laugh and I sure heard a lot of them laughing through-out the movie. Adults, don't try to over analyze the movie - it's a kids movie!

Average movie, I'd seen this movie when it came out 19 years ago and had remembered it being better than it was watching it this time around. The movie is a little slow and has some odd twists. Overall, I did like the concept. And the ending was eventful - I liked it. but I thought they could have done a lot move with this movie and left somewhat disappointed as far as my high expectations prior to watching the movie.

Great action and good introduction of the new Avengers to the movie series - Spider-man and Black Panther. Ant-man, although he already had his own movie, was also a nice addition. The movie is kid friendly and fight scenes well-choreographed. And the story line held for what the movie was trying to do - government trying to keep the Avengers under government control with the Avengers split on the idea which leads to the 'Civil War'. Not sure what's up with the Super Hero against Super Hero trend (Batman vs Superman). However, Civil War was much more intense as far as the level of rivalry between the two Super Hero groups and they really didn't come together at the end as they did in Batman vs Superman. So I was not a big fan of the script - and I think both my boys (9 and 10) felt the same way. We much prefer Super Hero versus villain over fighting amongst each other. And for that reason, rather than the 8 this movie probably deserves - because it was well done. I'm giving it a 6 since I did not like the story line and especially how the movie ended.

Good overall movie. The acting was good, there was action throughout the movie, and the plot kept interest other than I didn’t totally buy into the background the movie laid out as to why Batman and Superman thought the other was a vigilante versus a hero. Ben Affleck did well as Superman. Christian Bale – best Batman ever – was a hard act to follow. Ben didn’t disappoint in his role as Batman. Wonder Women played a smaller role in this movie than I expected. And Superman was so-so in his part. But overall a very good action movie.

I was expecting a lot due to the high user reviews, but was disappointed. The violence, blood, and gore was extreme. It made Pulp Fiction look like a G-rated movie, but I guess times have changed over the past twenty years. The first hour of the movie was pretty disjointed – violence, love scenes, and a bit of history of who Dead Pool was. The humor really was what carried the movie as the story was not that interesting – including the explanation of how he became Dead Pool (kind of far-fetched). The last hour picked up a bit as far as a story-line beyond the graphic violence. In the end, can’t rate this more than just an average movie – credit for the humor and take away for the unnecessary level of blood and gore and also lack of an interesting story or villain. I am fine if they never come up with a sequel to this movie.

This movie is much better than the critics are getting it credit for. First of all, it is a kids movie. I would never have thought to go to this movie if I didn't have 9 and 10 year old kids. So I look at it from that perspective - is it s good kids movie. Now, it is no 'Inside Out' movie - but still a funny movie with an decent flow. Yes, the script is predictable - in Angry Birds the pigs are always after the eggs, right? So you know where the movie is headed - but that alright. That is the same with many movies. What is more important is the movie has good humor along the way and develops the characters well ... well, about as well as you can develop a cartoon character. My kids loved it and there was a lot of laughter throughout the theater from all the other kids as the movie played out. So the kids in attendance enjoyed the movie and that makes it a success. This movie was not made for us adults. Even so, I also enjoyed the movie.

Many reviews refer to the Adam & Eve comparison and that is probably a good comparison. An interesting and unique story. One of those stories that hasn't played over and over again in many Hollywood movies different variations (think Friday the 13th, Godzilla, every Alien movie since the first one, etc.). The acting was okay and they played their characters well. And besides the Adam & Eve comparison, there is the also an angle representing prejudice in the movie. The ending (last 5 minutes) of the movie was a bit of a disappointment - little surprising in how, where, and with whom the main characters finished the movie. Overall an above average movie.

Watched movie again after 15 years. Bad movie. Poor acting and very predictable and ridiculous script. Now I know why I haven't seen Téa Leoni in many movies of note. She did a poor job of acting in this movie.

About as good as a Peanuts movie could be. I went with my boys - ages 8 and 10. Great movie to watch with kids - lots of laughs and some good life lessons delivered at the end. The movie had it all - the red headed girl, the Red Baron, and of course Charlie trying to kick the football at the end of the movie.

As advertised, non-stop action and the typical MI story with many twists and turns. Overall a very good movie - best MI movie yet. Since this is the fifth MI, some may feel no need for more sequels. However each story is so much different from the rest as far plot/action/location so certainly room for more MI sequels - why not. If you've liked previous MI's you will love this one.

Very average movie, not the Hercules story you are probably familiar with. Hercules is by all purposes a mercenary working with other mercenaries. The Story is focused on one small war between two kingdoms. Nothing epic. The action is very predictable other than one plot twist near the end of the movie.

All I can tell you about this movie was by the end we were all rooting against Noah and hoping he would get killed. Our two sons ages 10 and 11 asked why Noah was so evil. No hero's in this movie. This story was not the history I was told nor educated in church about. Very dark depressing movie - worst movie I have seen in some time.

I was not taken too this movie by the trailer and only watched it because I like Scarlett Johansson from her Avenger role and other movies and also the critic reviews were mostly positive. However, turned out this was one movie where Metacritic failed me. I've give the movie plot a big zero and the acting in the movie maybe a 2. The movie made no sense and here, three days later, I am still not really sure what the movie was all about. For those who love graphic violence this movie will not disappoint you - there is a lot of it. But this movie severely lacks a coherent story line.

Great start to the movie through the first hour and then the last 30 minutes got kind of wacky and the personality of the main character did a 180. Overall a good movie, but surprised the critics rated it so highly.
