Joey. Season 2. Unfortunately, that's all. Yes, this is the last season of a rather cute and funny spin-off about Joey. In the second season, the relationships between the characters were just beginning to unfold more deeply, but what would happen next can only be thought about.

Season 2 of Joey inevitably falls into the formulaic romantic tropes familiar from the later seasons of Friends. Fortunately, the show’s limited scope and pacing prevent these arcs from dragging on, sparing it from becoming tedious.

After a rather lacklustre first season I was hoping for an improvement in this second year, unfortunately it's much the same. Leblanc and the rest of the talented cast manage to illicit a few laughs from the mediocre script, but it came as a surprise to no one when this show was cancelled...
