I have to be honest in that I didn't finish the first episode. I just really didn't like it. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for something like this but I didn't like any of the characters and I am kinda weary of shows that have the characters unkindly competing with each other along with more wealthy people with artificial or snooty personalities. I'm sure it's got some redeeming qualities that some people like to watch, but I didn't find this show to be entertainment for me. I gave three number because I didn't watch much of it and just giving it some credit.

It’s hard to route for these money-grubbing charismatic miscreants, but something inside you doesn’t want to see them fail either. The marvelous all -encompassing dialogue is the thing that makes watching this series worthwhile.

"Industry" (S01, 8 eps, 50+ mins, TV-MA, HBO) This review is for its first season. I waited several years to watch this because (a) the initial set of reviews weren't good, and (2) I wanted to see if it endured for several seasons. Having gone three seasons, I figured, huh, must be pretty good right? Guys, I could only make it through four eps, and even that was forced. This show is an exhibition of the worst of people: their shallowness, their backstabbing, their carnal appetites, their lack of any moral compass, and the lack of accountability. Again, this is a hard TV-MA, you're in for swearing and full on sexual situations which brings it to the brink of pornography. And it's not even limited to hetero, this is the Age of Woke so you're seeing lgbtq mixed in all this, too. The overall plot itself depicting young investment traders in a major London firm was fertile ground for storytelling, but wow, did they ever take that in directions that will never be mainstream, so if you're in that niche demographic, enjoy your festival of horrid nastiness.

The answer to "Succession". What a cast of scoundrels and Season 3 blows up beyond all expectations. London locations are great.

Weird one .. this show is , on the one hand the quintessential outcome of a Uber woke tv Era where the goal seems to be to have at least 3/4 diverse people in every scene , every other man to be gay or bicurious , and to have thinly veiled reversed colonialism (a term that the show actually, proudly , uses in season 2 , go figure) all over. And as it is customary in the 2020s there is at times some obvious anti white messaging On the other hand .. credit where credit is due , the woke writers did manage to actually write some daring scenes , and realistic , human responses , and some well rounded characters like Eric with good sides , bad sides. It's a confusing little show. I also think all the criticism of the sex scenes is besides the point , it's actually a fairly realistic showing of modern sexual behavior me thinks . The wokism is the real nasty. And, to be fair , there are worse shows to watch. But the wokism is still a very poignant disease in modern television that prevents even well written shows to be 4 or 5 star epics

Really enjoyable! Fast paced business drama with hard cultural truths peppered throughout. A little hyperbolic though told with purpose and a strong message.

It's like trying to take Succession, make it British, boring, and have almost nothing ever happen. I watched 4-5 episodes but it seemed directionless and uninspired. There was just not a great reason to keep watching this.

Great tv show. The characters are realistic and they show many different faces. The actors perform really well. You never know what to expect from them, the show doesnt pretend to give a black/white point of view of investment banks its just that people have to pay a price in such enviroment. Great soundtrack too. Muy recomendable.

A fresh and bold series. Love the intensity and also reminds me of a many work nights in the city of London. I can see why this doesn't appeal the mass. It's relatable to those who worked in city of London or CW in a certain group and profession. If you haven't, hard to relate to it. Definitely attached and hooked

This is SO much better than dull and disappointing The Undoing, people who are hating it haven't watched more than the first episode. The series gets better and more intriguing with each episode. I will be tuning in for Season 2.

Atmospheric, moving, exceptionally written, and featuring a stunning indie soundtrack, Industry is one of the most impressive new dramas in years. The strong ensemble is led by a remarkable Myha’la Herrold who deserves an EMMY for her performance.

So boring, nothing really happened. No character is interesting. Beyond the hot sex scenes and some genitals and great music, there is nothing interesting in this series. So disappointing

The series takes a long time to find its identity and ends up losing a lot of space for the development of characters. Still, it shows a cast with potential and an arc of characters that can be better explored in upcoming seasons.
