BoJack Horseman, six seasons in, is more clever, intelligent, and multilayered than 95 percent of comedies on television or any other platform. Its protagonist and other principal characters may still be in need of self-improvement, but the show in which they appear remains about as good as it gets.

His eight-episode trek is a shade lighter, still extremely funny, and largely positive.

As it enters the final leg, BoJack Horseman takes stock of the good and the bad, and prepares to hand down judgment, proving that it’s braver and funnier than just about anything else on TV.

The season brings highs and lows to each of these characters’ lives, each realized with the show’s signature blend of raw emotional insight and silly, goofball humor.

BoJack's final season seems to be purposefully slowing down, trying to give us a grounded landing that is emotionally satisfying.

A satisfying open ended end to one of my favorite most satisfying shows. Understandably rushed given Netflix's deadline it's longest running original show proves the power of consistency, great writing and diverse characters. A masterpiece. A view from halfway down would not leave a dry eye even in a hot summer desert during a drought. Phenomenal conclusion where bojacks demons come too roost,princess Carolyn finds her balance & tom his love. Diane is finally able to accept herself and work on her mental health . The positive depiction of weight gain was a welcomed first. This show is a part of history. I haven't stopped crying

It's very nice serial, the best Netflix serial, this series is over. I love this serial.

Although admittedly I was concerned in finding out it was mostly Netflix's decision to end the show, not the creators', Bojack ends superbly and masterfully in a powerful and tear-jerking way I haven't felt in any TV show I've ever watched. All of the plotlines for each of the five leads ends spectacularly, the humor is still on-point, and the emotion is dialed up to 11. It's beautifully voice acted, portrays many issues (depression, romantic and familial relationships, and sexuality to name a few) in a hauntingly realistic manner, and the final two episodes are truly something else. This is one of the best shows I've ever watched, one of the few shows to make me laugh and weep at the same time, and this is still arguably the best show I've ever watched.
