What is bothersome about the series relates to its omissions: not one word is mentioned about Lincoln's support for the transcontinental railroad and the establishment of land-grant colleges during his administration both of which had enormous impact of the country's growth and future. Also, each episode is loaded down with frequent and annoying commercial breaks.
