No, the thrill isn't gone. "24" remains a wild 'n' crazy roller-coaster ride.

It's clear that all that has made "24" so huge and deserved a success is on display again in these first smashing episodes.

This remains a superb, positively riveting TV drama, however repetitive the themes and grandly implausible the scenarios.

The four episodes previewed are far from flawless, but even with their lapses and excesses, I can hardly wait for the next hour.

"24" still maintains some of its trademark intensity, but too often in these first four hours, the show is smack-your-forehead laughable.

Definitely the worst and most disappointing season of 24. The first 4 episodes were amazing, but then it went all downhill. It just recycled way too many past 24 elements and the Jack's family is behind this didn't work out. Still good, but the worst for sure.

While this time around the plot points are clearly recycled, the drama less interesting and the characters less developed, the high-stakes action of 24 and Kiefer Sutherland's performance save the day.

It pisses me off when I see people give this show a 0, you're a piece of **** if you do. It's a great show and it deserves to be recognized. 7.2 The shows great, but the season isn't the best and could use better writers.

With the United States having suffered from a series of suicide bombings over the last three months, President Palmer is offered the location of the man behind the bombing in exchange for Jack Bauer. To make matters even more complicated Bauer is being held prisoner by the Chinese government… 24’s sixth season is generally considered it’s weakest, and while there are still plenty of thrilling set pieces, far too many of the plot lines have been seen (and done better) in previous seasons. The best way to describe this season would have to be ‘lazy’ with the writers just recycling everything from traitorous advisors working with the President, to a mole working within CTU. It’s still watchable, but it’s hard not to feel you’ve seen it all before.

It uses the same ideas about nuclear weapons which was used in the second and fourth season. Also this season doesn't have as many characters. Kim Bauer is not on this season.
