Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation delivers solid summer entertainment with a complex plot, brilliant acting and high-octane, edge of your seat action.

It's more entertaining than its predecessor but The Divergent Series: Insurgent is nevertheless a needlessly convoluted orgy of unconvincing special effects and underdeveloped and ultimately forgettable side characters.

Fifty Shades of Grey should have been a guilty pleasure film. It wasn't. Instead Fifty Shades is filled with a tedious plot, completely forgettable side characters, leads that have no chemistry and lame BDSM scenes. I wasn't aroused. Nuff said.

Definitely THE summer movie of 2015.

Exodus: Gods and Kings works as a spectacle of 3D special effects and lush cinematography. However, it fulfills this at the cost of the complexity of it's source material, thus creating a final product that it all style no substance despite the classic source material it is based on.

While still slightly hamstrung by "middle chapter" narrative problems, Avengers: Age of Ultron is nevertheless an action packed extravaganza that infuses humour and large scale mayhem seamlessly while delivering strong performances from it's new foe and the returning & new heroes.
