Ultimately, Goals is barely worth the time it takes for you to download it. Sure, it can be an enjoyable experience with how seriously it takes itself in the gameplay department, with the lack of assist tools, but everything around it feels so dull, forgettable, and half-baked that any good intentions the developers poured into it just get lost in the myriad of mediocrity this thing oozes.

Sadly, despite the pricing being on point and Konami having laid a solid foundation with eFootball Kick-Off! by dropping the gacha nonsense of the main game and making the minute-to-minute gameplay feel really good, they have managed to score an own goal by making the package as bare-bones as possible.

Subnautica 2

Subnautica 2 builds on its foundation with a more structured story led by a suspicious AI companion, a new DNA‑based gene‑modification system, and full 4‑player co‑op. Even with the usual Early Access limitations and a few minor bugs, the game already delivers a strong, atmospheric experience that stands confidently alongside the original. [Early Access Score = 80]

007 First Light is, for me, an absolute masterpiece that shattered all pre-release anxieties and is, in fact, the greatest Bond video game of all time. IO Interactive masterfully balances explosive action with "Hitman"-inspired stealth, all brought to life by Patrick Gibson’s breathtaking, definitive performance as a young James Bond. Equal parts thrilling and cinematic, this incredible experience is a gorgeous love letter to the franchise and a sure-fire Game of the Year contender.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book swaps traditional platforming levels for a cozy, creature-cataloging safari set in a gorgeous sketchbook world. While praise is due for its charming visuals, the experience is held back by restrictive, tiny levels and tedious trial-and-error puzzles. Ultimately, it remains a beautiful, worthwhile ride for fans despite its stop-and-start pacing.

ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies

Ultimately, Zero Parades: For Dead Spies does manage what looked unthinkable: it stands on its own, turbulent development cycle aside. It was never going to completely step out from the monolith that is Disco Elysium, but viewed strictly on its own merits, it emerges as a very intricate, atmospheric espionage RPG.

Crimson Desert is an ambitious open-world epic that succeeds through its dense, rewarding exploration and weighted combat, even while stumbling over a generic story and a flat protagonist. While unintuitive controls and momentum-killing puzzles can cause occasional frustration, the sheer scale of Pywel and its deep progression systems offer a level of discovery unlike anything seen before it. Ultimately, the game’s narrative shortcomings are overshadowed by its immendepth and breathtaking world, making it a flawed but deeply memorable adventure.

I loved playing Invincible VS. It's something fans of the IP will likely get a kick out of for a few hours despite the disappointing length of story mode, and those deep in the trenches of fighting games likely trying to come up with the most degenerate strats you could conceive. If Quarter Up can build on the early excitement shown by both the FGC and the casual Invincible audience, they might have a big hit in their hands, one I hope they aim to improve and make a more complete experience in a fighting game market that's surprisingly starting to feel a bit overcrowded.

Tides of Tomorrow

Apr 27, 2026
Overall, Tides of Tomorrow stands on its own as a very interesting narrative-driven game that will take you roughly 10-15 hours to complete on your first playthrough (there are several endings based on the choices you, or the person you're following, make). The Story-Link is a neat novelty, but the concept doesn't hit as hard as I would've wanted.

Pokemon Champions

Pokemon Champions is a disappointing, battle-focused spin-off that lacks the depth, story, and visual flair needed to justify its existence over the mainline games. Marred by a limited roster and uncharacteristic pay-to-win mechanics, it fails to recapture the magic of Pokémon Stadium for both casual and competitive players.
