Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

What it does do so well is take a perfectly honed formula and make it even more flexible to gamers' grips, without disturbing the game's core experience. It's a balancing act, and I don't think any gaming developer in their right mind would attempt to make an entirely new package here.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Critic ScoreFiring Squad
Play mechanics, the movie-epic plot, the sheer scope of the landscape and the missions—all combine to create the most near-perfect experience that I have ever had with a game.
Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec

Critic ScoreFiring Squad
I can't remember the last time I've ever had this much fun playing any game, from any genre, on any system. If the gameplay wasn't already enough to convince me, the graphics in Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec are also top-notch and the presentation is superb.
Grand Theft Auto IV

This is a more refined, smoother game than its predecessors, and is almost certainly the most thoroughly interactive form of entertainment ever created, especially with the fantastic multiplayer options. But it's also more self-consciously constructed than the previous two GTA games, and in my eyes, a little less engaging.
BioShock

Critic ScoreFiring Squad
Yes folks, we have played BioShock and we loved it. The minor flaws in the game's design didn't keep us from having an all night session to get to the end and we think that will be your conclusion as well.
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness

Critic ScoreFiring Squad
This is a game for people who take great joy in leveling their characters to the point where the peons the game throws at you are hardly capable of touching you, let alone killing you. The impressive thing is that the game manages to be engaging to that type of player without becoming a game where you have to keep track of every tiny stat on all of your characters.
Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge

Critic ScoreFiring Squad
It's not an innovative wonder that will blow your socks off, but the new Crimson Skies succeeds in providing an extremely well executed and polished dogfighting experience both off and online.
F-Zero GX

Critic ScoreFiring Squad
A fantastic racing game, and easily the very best racer for GameCube. The only thing keeping this game from a higher score is the extremely steep learning curve.
SoulCalibur II
87
Critic ScoreFiring Squad
One of the best fighters on PlayStation 2 and without a doubt THE very best for GameCube and Xbox. Maybe this tells just how incredible and ahead of its time Soul Calibur for Dreamcast was.
SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs

The designers have responded to fan input, by making the game more difficult, making your team members and the competition smarter, a richer graphical environment, and overall a better gaming experience.
