Themyscira - the island of the Amazons and the faithful adaptation of Wonder Woman into the Snyderverse is nothing short of epic! Loved the humor, cheered on the action and was stunned at the Wonder of how well this Woman saved the day more than once!

L'héroïne est attachante, l'histoire colle, plutôt jolie à regarder. C'est un film que je regarde une seconde fois sans problème.

Wonder Woman has great themes, some cheesy lines and visible green screens. The writing is mixed because some lines are cheesy, but others are genuinely funny. It has themes centered around good versus evil, war versus peace and doing the right thing. I loved the characters and that's probably the main reason I enjoyed the movie very much. The team felt like a Mission: Impossible one and Diana is interesting because of her naivety and faith in people. The directing is good, the themes are clear and the dramatic tone works. The cinematography is pretty good too. I loved most of the slow-motion action, but sometimes it was just too much. The effects don't look bad at all, but much of it was visibly shot with the use of green/blue screen. The score is awesome, I especially love Wonder Woman's theme (introduced in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice). The cast is great and the performances are charismatic. Wonder Woman is a surprisingly more enjoyable than the previous DCEU movies, mostly because of its characters.

One of the best DCEU movies ever made its setting while not unique is excellently handled and the costumes and sets are all great same with the casting and the writing is top notch and unlike other superhero movies that go into war setting this one wasnt afraid to show how awful war can truly be and didnt glamorize it and I love the portrayal of Wonder Women as this is the first time she has entered the world outside her island

I remember being pleasantly surprised by this film after viewing it for the first time. Gal Gadot is for the most part, a terrible actress. But her best work was always with the lasso in hand.

A film with a rather classic plot but a particular setting. It has a good development and a good dose of action combined with a solid story that makes it enjoyable from beginning to end without any drops in intensity.

With nice cinematography and a beautiful depiction of Themiscyra, this leads to fans wanting to know more about Wonder Woman's past and understand the true extent of her ability. The animations and plot are both very good with a fast moving pacing. This leads to fans being enticed to watch this movie fully. With viewers wondering where and who Ares is it will definitely have friends and families intrigued while enjoying this movie.

Wonder Woman review I love Wonder Woman I love gal gadot as her she made Greek warrior side of Wonder Woman fighting in world war 2 like gladiator in it as well to have Connie be queen Hipolita so that was amazing I love editing for Wonder Woman especially when she was transferring from a little girl to a teenager, a growing an adult and then a woman, especially when she was doing her training so that editing was amazing I loved all gal galdot outfits and hairstyles I love how authentic Diana was being her self very secure with herself I love her dedication commitment focus on to stop war and bring peace to the world I love all the action fight scenes there were amazing cool impressive hard work but fun entertaining at the same time 5 star 10 out 10 star 100 out 100 star

Wonder Woman is one I really thought Patty Jenkins done a brilliant job making it a very historic direction and I thought the chemistry between Gal Gadot and Chris Pine was phenomenal with Gadot being quite charismatic. I would say from what I have seen with this film is does sketch all the items you really need doesn't miss all the gems but making the movie more mid evil looking. My last point is I found the movie quite slow pace but it does make it up with an absolute hidden twist you wouldn't expect.

Gal Gadot fully embodies the Amazon warrior. Trickier than it might seem to both make her a badass in combat and play up the fish out of water material, but she does so commendably. Chris Pine is great, as always, and their chemistry is superb. Interesting final villain reveal, too.

Superpowers affect the outcome of the first World War, as a crashed fighter pilot accidentally uncovers a secret island of warrior women and recruits their champion to fight for the allied forces. Once they've left the idyllic fantasyland of this island paradise, however, the femme fighter's deep-seated naïveté bubbles to the surface and our soldier splits time between babysitting and desperately redirecting the brunt of her morally-indignant rage toward the enemy. Flavorful and energetic, Wonder Woman has a lot of good ideas, but it struggles to unify them in a mixed setting. And, perhaps coincidentally, many of its central themes directly overlap with Marvel's competing films. It shares a ground-level war setting with Captain America. Mythological fantasy / fish out of water elements with Thor. Black Panther's insular society, deliberately isolated from the modern world. Each one has a unique twist, of course - tweaks and eccentricities to distinguish this character from the rest - but it's still all-too easy to draw those parallels, and the numerous comparison points make this film seem less daring and original. Poor effects work often lets Wonder Woman down, too. Particularly where the use of her powers are concerned, there's a stiffness, a distinct sense of detachment from reality, that robs important scenes of their implied power. We can see the strings, in other words, and that draws our focus away from the bigger picture. Gal Gadot certainly looks the part of an Amazon, a stunning mix of elegance and athleticism, but her chances to show personality and take ownership of the role are limited. For such a specifically character-driven story, that's a major problem. The supporting cast picks up some of the slack this time around, but presumably they won't be there for the forthcoming sequel, as it's set nearly seventy years in the future. All in all, this was a light dose of conceptual fun, but I'm going to need a better reason to stick around for the next one.

It’s a good film for character introduction, with a strong plot and a good contextualization of the era, which makes it enjoyable to watch however, the visual effects when Wonder Woman uses her powers don’t fully convince me.

Excellent superhero movie; probably the best in the DCEU. Unfortunately, the final act is a bit underwhelming, particularly the dark and ugly CGI. The more I rewatch it, the more the third act ruins the movie.

Gadot is likable and hot, but not very Wonder Woman looking. Chris Pine is also charismatic and likeable. My point is without these two this movie would be a middling experience for sure. One of the better modern DC movies, but that doesn't really say a lot.

Gal Gadot shines as the perfect embodiment of Wonder Woman in this thrilling and visually stunning origin story. The film boasts a powerful and inspiring message of love, courage, and heroism, making it a must-watch for fans of the superhero genre. The action-packed scenes are expertly choreographed and the chemistry between Gadot and Chris Pine's character adds an extra layer of heart to the story. The only drawback was the predictable plot, but overall, it's a highly enjoyable movie that will leave you feeling empowered.

This film is so well done that it seems incredible to you that it was born from DC. It's not perfect, let's be clear, there's something wrong especially with the ending, because everything ends with roses and flowers. But overall, seeing the Rot that was birthed before in this cinematic universe, you'd see it five more times.

I was curious how the character's solo movie would fair in theaters. Would they walk away with a greater appreciation for the character director Patty Jenkins, or would the whole thing be a busy. Turns out, it was a massive success as everyone loved the move, just not me. I loved Gal Gadot's take on the character, despite some early concern that she might not be able to carry a movie on her own and director Patty Jenkins did a solid job directing. My gripe actually lay with the writing. This movie felt like two completely disjointed movies trying unsuccessfully to become one. One movie was about a US military pilot, Steve Trevor and his quest to convince his superiors of an impending enemy attack during World War I. After initially being dismissed, his supervisors discovered he was right all along and allowing Steve to lead a defensive effort to save the day. Great movie. Heartwarming and motivational. It actually felt like something worthy of Steven Spielberg or Christopher Nolan. The second movie, more fitting for Wonder Woman, was about a warrior amd her quest for self discovery. During her adventure she learns of a secret from her past, thought buried forever, who her true parents are. Admittedly I understand the connection, however, the execution left the film feeling disjointed, as the inclusion of one story greatly diminished the effectiveness of other. I think the movie would've been significantly better if the creators chose to focus more on the titular character rather than interrupt someone else's movie and insert Wonder Woman in a way that felt forced.

As Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot did an outstanding job. When you witness the ending and how Wonder Woman's true powers are revealed, the movie leaves you with conflicting messages about the might of the Amazonians. Someone else could have played the part with a little less swagger and a little more endearing presence. The movie's leading guy gave a bit of a "meh" performance. decent, but not outstanding; good;

I biggest complaint about this move is Gal Gadot, I wish they picked Native American actress, with a darker skin, she is also not particularly good actress, if you are true Wonder Women fand will now she wasn't the one. Also, the beach scene is ****.

The beginning was awful on the one side: Feminism, woman are strong, blabla. I was thinking, oh look woman can build up something, there are no intrigues, no drama, everyone is working, haha. Yes, yes. If it was reality, we men would be very thankful and had less problems. There were also many more logical problems in this movie, that made it difficult to get into it. But, I enjoyed the mystic stories in the movie: Like the classic stories, they describes our feelings with legends and gods. So there was hope for the movie, but it was clear, this movie cant be great. Later on I discovered another beautiful element, the critics on our civilization full of lies, hatred, selfishness, loss of empathy to each other, hide our lovely feelings was hard for me, because it touches a truth, that my psyche remembers me every day: It wants to leave this artificial world and return to the natural life, I have already had in my life. Some parts of the movie gave me another motivation to sell everything and move to another country, where people have time to each other, both sexes are loving each other instead of fighting. Gal, the actress of WW is just beautiful, but she failed in the action parts of the movie. In addition the CGI effects were only average. The background music very clichéd.

A lot of fun -- though overlong and inconsistent -- Wonder Woman features a thoroughly charming performance from Gal Gadot in the title role, as well as great chemistry between her and her co-star, Chris Pine. Showcasing a lot of heart, and some old fashioned and good natured superhero action, it's a bit of a shame when the movie devolves into generic "fight the giant super powered CGI monster" in its final act.

As someone who does enjoy superhero films when done right, there are some good ones out there as well as some disappointing ones. Enjoyed the character of Wonder Woman as a kid, and always felt compared to other superhero characters that she deserved her own film. Which she gets in this 2017 effort directed by Patty Jenkins. Is 'Wonder Woman' as good as the hype and a wonder of a film? Not to me, there are a few things that stop it from being even better. Does it deserve the negativity in a lot of the comments here? While it is easy to see why people would be disappointed, as it could have been better, my answer would be no and that some of the hate is over the top. There are problems here in 'Wonder Woman'. Part of it is to do with pacing, the film starts a little dull in places and later on as more happens in the story it felt rushed and at times it affects the storytelling which has its muddled moments. The ending is clichéd and anti-climactic and some of the characters feel underdeveloped, especially the underused and underwritten villain. However, 'Wonder Woman' is mostly an exceptionally made film, apart from instances of frenetic editing, with a lot of atmosphere in the production design and lighting, audacious photography and special effects that are super slick. The music has a haunting sense of mood and rousing energy, and Jenkins directs with an understanding of the titular character and accommodating the performing of Gal Gadot. Script has some witty humour, heartfelt sentiment and also takes itself seriously without making the mistake of previous BC Extended Universe (of which 'Wonder Woman' is by far the best, actually being a good film) of being too grim and dark. The action is stirring and often spectacular in spectacle. 'Wonder Woman's' story has its faults but most of it is heartfelt and thrilling. It does the character of Wonder Woman justice with a genuinely interesting back-story that makes her a compellingly real and easy-to-relate-to character who you admire for all her strengths and flaws. Gadot is superbly cast as Wonder Woman, creating a character that really stands out among the rest of the superhero line in terms of gender and her ideals. Chris Pine is amusing, commanding and likable with great chemistry with Gadot, while Danny Houston clearly enjoys himself as the villain. The rest of the cast do very solidly. Overall, not a wonder but a long way from a blunder. 7/10 Bethany Cox

One of the best and most beautiful DC movies. Wonder Woman has a very coherent script with good characterization that confuses you very little. The dialogues are almost good and the introduction of the characters is tolerable. The soundtrack is epic enough to get you into the movie space.

Honestly, I didn't enjoy this movie as other people did. I agree Gal Gadot is great as Wonder Woman. Also, the themes are pretty good and the writing is decent. The Wonder Woman theme from Batman v Superman which is used in this movie is very good. But, the action is very forgettable, the villains scuked. And the movie is not very rewatchable.

This movie is one of the best DC films to date. Gal Gadot was the absolutely perfect pick for Wonder Woman and does an amazing job of selling her role. The story line was very good great fight scenes and good use of CGI. The one thing that a found a bit off was the whole love story part of the movie didn't add much to the movie.
