The Wrong Missy is a little hit-and-miss, but it’s funny and inventive, and Lapkus is good enough to make the word “zany” tolerable again.

The Wrong Missy is a harmless dumb-meets-smart-mouth comedy that doesn’t necessarily feed your appetite for more Netflix throwaways. But it does make you want to see Lauren Lapkus’s next act.

My wife and I were looking for something to get our minds off the current COVID crisis. Then we stumbled onto this gem which might be the funniest thing I've seen in years. Don't do too much thinking, just sit back and enjoy it.

This movie is now my new favourite comedy! I cannot understand these fools saying “ I didn’t even laugh once”...please.

A gross-out comedy masquerading only in the flimsiest sense as a romance, The Wrong Missy still knows its way around genre convention, but Spindel and company seem compelled to use those expectations to tee up cruel gags that do little to advance the film’s plot or central romance.

Tyler Spindel, a Happy Madison veteran, directs The Wrong Missy with all of the worst tendencies of the Sandler shingle style. It’s a series of claustrophobically unfunny scenes that drag on and on, interspersed with establishing shots and music cues that look and sound like they were licensed from a stock library.

The Wrong Missy is one of those movies that takes a brain-dead sitcom scenario to the outer limits of what an audience is willing to tolerate.

Spade practically cringes through this thing, not a good look when you’re a high-mileage 55. And a little of Lapkus, shrieking profanities at children, lap-dancing at the luau, goes a long way.

What’s frustrating is that The Wrong Missy isn’t entirely devoid of self-awareness.

Great Comedy Film. i laughed a lot and Lauren Lapkus had this crazy look. The End is a little bit lame but its worked really good.

Just your average brain dead comedy it's fun for what it is, the jokes can be insulted as sexually harassment, but i think it's fine for what it is. Plot : 6 Sound : 5 Enjoyable : 5 Easy to follow : 7 Easy to watch : 7 Laugh factor : 6 i had a few good laughs like in the plane scene. Overal just watch it when you have nothing to do.

What do people expect with a Happy Maddison production, Funny slapstick comedy that's it!!!. I can honestly say the film is ok there's some laugh out loud moments but you can tell these guys are not wanting oscars, they are all friends and love to have a laugh. Definitely worth a watch to have a chuckle over complete stupidness that does not take itself seriously.

Too often it's too exhausting too annoying for me. On the actors performance it's actually done very well, but the chosen form of the comedic interludes is just too blatant.

Rarely do you want to strangle the female lead in a movie unless she is the villain. Not so with “The Wrong Missy.” The “wrong” Missy (Lauren Lapkus) is so egregiously, teeth-grating, head-bangingly annoying that you’re ready to kill yourself or her within the first 20 minutes. She gets better, but not much. At least David Spade, Vanilla Ice, and Rob Schneider were temporarily saved from the Hollywood “whatever happened to…?” dustbin with this project, but for how long? OK to see when: stoned, drunk, on heavy pain meds, hungry for low comedy, or just bored out of your mind and churlish about “Tiger King” being over.
