People really like this movie ? Spiderman into the Spiderverse, for me it's a boring movie with a scene repeated 7 times in the product and with a disgusting character of **** Parker. Wonderful animation but I prefer the one in Across. 7/10

A Dazzling Multiversal Renaissance of Belonging and Shared Heroism.2018 (5.0)20231220 (Rewatch, 5.0)Truly the golden age of fandom, where parodies and homages are seamlessly woven into the multiverse. "I'm Spider-Man. And I'm not alone. Not the only one." A universe where friendly neighborhood heroes—who once had to struggle in isolated insecurity—are finally here for one another at long last. The narrative threads come together so vividly: Alchemax belongs to Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin, who developed a particle supercollider capable of multiversal travel. Uncle Aaron discovered that abandoned underground space while working and brought Miles there to do graffiti, where Miles was bitten by the Earth-42 spider. While attending the elite Brooklyn Visions Academy, Miles crosses paths with Gwen, setting off an incredible chain of events. Peter Parker had already been active for over a decade, while Aaron was secretly working for Kingpin as the Prowler. Kingpin tore open the multiverse in a desperate bid to recover his deceased wife Vanessa and son Richard after they died in a car crash fleeing from the revelation of his villainy, echoing how Doctor Strange searched across dimensions for a universe to be happy with Christine. This also clarifies why Spot chased down every Alchemax facility to recharge and induce multidimensional collapse. It feels undeniably harsh for Miles, who never asked to be bitten and initially wanted nothing to do with being Spider-Man once he realized the stakes. When the original Peter Parker, married to Mary Jane, is killed by Kingpin and his identity exposed, Miles resolves to fill the void left behind by the hero who died right in front of him. Meanwhile, the Peter Parker who has a baby has already been active for 22 years; having divorced MJ over his fear of parenthood, he is **** into this dimension just as the collider opens. Olivia Octavius is brilliantly reimagined as Doc Ock, smoothly shifting from an eccentric nerd into a menacing villain. Gwen's own journey carries the heavy burden of losing Peter after two years as Spider-Woman, and the tragedy deepens when Aaron refuses to kill Miles, leading Kingpin to murder the Prowler. Alongside the recurring thematic motifs of "Great Expectations," the post-credits surprise of Oscar Isaac voicing Miguel O'Hara rounds out a deeply resonant, electrifying multiversal journey.

Great film. Visually appealing, great characters and story, even though some characters get brushed off. The design could be better made up for by the stylized and art style choices. Overall, fantastic. (15/8/26)

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is an outstanding film. It is one of the best Spider-Man movies ever made and, honestly, better than many of the live-action versions. It achieves something that seemed almost impossible: taking a character we have seen repeatedly and making him feel new again.Miles Morales is not Peter Parker, and that is one of the film’s smartest choices. He is not designed to replace or copy him. He has his own family, voice, doubts and a life in which he still does not know where he belongs. He is intelligent and talented, but also insecure, clumsy and overwhelmed by everything happening around **** transformation works because it does not happen instantly. Miles receives powers but does not automatically become a hero. He is frightened, fails repeatedly and cannot control what his body is doing. The film understands that wearing the mask is not enough: first, he needs to discover why he wants to carry it.Then the multiverse appears, something that could easily have turned the story into an impossible mess. Instead, it is used with great intelligence. Every Spider-Man has a different personality, design and rhythm, but all of them share the same idea: anyone can fall, fail and find a way to stand again.Peter B. Parker is especially good. He is not the perfect hero arriving to teach the protagonist everything, but a tired, careless Spider-Man who has been defeated by his own life. His relationship with Miles works because they help one another without fully realizing it. One needs to learn how to begin, while the other needs to remember why continuing is worthwhile.Spider-Gwen also works extremely well. She has presence, personality and her own emotional history. Even the stranger characters, including Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker and Spider-Ham, find a place without destroying the film’s tone.Visually, the film is extraordinary. It does not merely imitate a comic book; it feels as though somebody discovered how to make comic art move. Printing dots, motion lines, captions, changing styles and different forms of animation make every scene feel **** first, it can almost seem too intense because something is always happening on screen. Gradually, however, that saturation becomes part of Miles’s experience. Everything is fast, colourful, loud and confusing because that is how the world feels to **** action is brilliantly staged. The chases and fights have speed, spatial clarity and a creativity that many live-action superhero films never attempt. Animation allows the filmmakers to do impossible things without losing the weight or danger of the **** is also extremely funny. There are visual jokes, references to earlier versions and moments that affectionately mock everything familiar about Spider-Man. Yet the film is not built only from fan service. Miles always remains at its **** relationships with his father and uncle give the story enormous emotional force. They are not simply supporting figures used to move the plot. They represent different ways of seeing Miles and different paths from which he must create his **** film is about identity, fear, expectations and accepting that we may never feel completely prepared. Its main idea is simple but powerful: there is no magical moment when all doubt disappears. Eventually, we simply have to take the leap. That moment works because everything before it has earned it. It is not only a spectacular visual sequence. It is the moment Miles stops trying to become somebody else and finally becomes his own Spider-Man.Into the Spider-Verse gives us a new protagonist, introduces the multiverse and plays with decades of Spider-Man history without ever forgetting to tell a great story. It has humour, emotion, action, memorable characters and animation that changed how this kind of film could look.Highly recommended. One of the greatest Spider-Man films ever made and proof that familiar characters never become exhausted when someone finds a genuinely new perspective.

It is definitely one of the best movies and film series of all time. Even watching it for the third time gives me the same pleasure as if I were watching it for the first time. The animation, the story, and the pacing are all excellent. It might even be the best Spider-Man film series; or if it’s not, it’s certainly a top contender. Maybe I’m exaggerating, though.

Everyone already knows: This was a REVOLUTION in animated art style, unlike anything anyone had ever seen before, and for that alone it deserves all the props. But also, who doesn't like Miles?

Bravo Sony

Nothing here I did like. First off, I can't stand Miles Morales as a Spider-Man. Second, I am not a fan of established content ever being retconned by "alternate universes / timelines" hokeyness . . . I didn't like the animation style. The dialog and delivery was weak and whiney. And lastly the casting was horrible - the only one that actually held their own was Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld).

This movie is a cinematic MASTERPIECE! The story contains EVERYTHING people love about Spider-Man, while still feeling fresh and exciting! The characters are lovable, memorable, and full of personality, the twist villain is beautifully done, and the animation is simply STUNNING. Overall, a great movie I would recommend to anyone.

This movie is beyond a cinematic masterpiece, EVERYTHING was perfect, I don't know how you from The Emoji Movie to this! Thank you Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Rodney Rothman for making this masterpiece, out of anyone no one would've guessed that Sony Pictures Animation would be the ones to defeat Pixar, after the cinematic cry for help The Emoji Movie, and somehow the sequel is even better, this movie is my 2nd favorite movie ever, 1st being Across the Spiderverse, and I'm super excited for Beyond the Spiderverse, I need Beyond the Spiderverse more then Water, Air, Sonic the Hedgehog. So I'll wait however long it takes, 2027, 2028, 2029, 2045, HOWEVER LONG IT TAKES. 100/10. Would do it on repeat forever. Would do it everyday.

This is peak. Art + Animation - It's peak. The vibrant comic book artstyle, the stunning New York backdrops, the minute detail in the interiors. The animation even serves a narrative purpose, with Miles being animated off frame to look janky and less fluid than Peter, Gwen and the other Spider people, only to be animated smoothly once he performs the brilliant leap of faith. Characters - They're peak. Miles Morales is such a good character, not falling into the Hollywood sarcastic, skilled, sick of everyone personality craze that they seem to love so much. Miles is genuine, clumsy, funny, ambitious, scared, flawed yet loveable. He's someone who looks up to Spiderman in a similar way the audience does and when that responsibility is thrust onto him, he reacts relatably but rises to the challenge by the end.
Going into personal bias, seeing Miles enter a new elite school environment, knowing mentally that he proved himself enough to get in yet emotionally feeling stupider than everyone else in class, is a feeling I know all too well. His struggles to find friends, him butting heads with his dad while still obviously loving him, trying to prove himself to others and himself. And he's black? Yeah, he just like me frfr.
The other characters are all good too. Peter B Parker being this older, jaded and genuinely sad Spiderman is such a contrast to how he's portrayed in other movies, yet it makes sense all that he goes through. Gwen Stacy, both resitant to making friends and deepening relations and also being 'fast' friends with Miles (after the hair incident). Uncle Aaron, Officer Jeff, Rio, the other spiders, there are so many good characters and dynamics that really elevate the movie. Story - It's peak. The spiderman story has been done and redone many times. Nerdy kid, spider bite,Uncle Ben, responsibility, yada yada. Spiderverse acknowledges how over done this character and IP is and takes it in a new direction. Mile's story isn't just about responsibility. It's about rising up to the challenge. Just like in his school life, he has the ability, just not the confidence to take that leap. It's hard to talk more about the story without spoiling, but trust me, it's peak. Having a movie be so relatable while simultaneously so well made is truly a once in a multiverse experience. Corny line but it's true. Go watch.

The animation and visual aesthetic of this movie is fantastic, although I found the stop-motion effect jarring (and I hope it doesn't become too popular). The story and characters are OK - it's spiderman.

Alternate Spider-Men from various dimensions are brought together by a villain's scheme, confusedly interact, share a few puns, trade tips and race to beat the bad guy before their respective home worlds are irreparably ruined. Given the steamroll of positive word-of-mouth, I had concerns about this one living up to my expectations. Instead, it smashed them to pieces. It surprises, delights, amuses and entertains right from the opening gun. A sharp, witty script manages to nail the goofy essence of the character (seen through a kaleidoscope of different lenses) without feeling forced, hokey or dated. It's effortlessly hip and tuned-in, a tale that understands what's fresh and spotlights that without exploiting it. The plot remains light-hearted and smooth, but not without trials or consequences. I don't think I can say nearly enough about the dynamic, electrifying visuals. They're a shot of adrenaline, consistently vibrant and dazzling, a vivid showpiece that leaps straight from page to screen without sacrificing any of the clever little quirks and format-conscious tricks that always seemed so inseparable from the printed medium. Into the Spider-Verse is the first time a big comic book adaptation has really worn its roots as a badge of honor, something to be respected and embraced, rather than an embarrassing blemish. It understands what makes a good comic tick, values those singular traits and uses them to improve the entire production. I didn't realize how much I needed something like this. Updated thoughts from a 2021 re-watch: I've already reviewed this one in depth, so I'm going to take a chill pill and dial back the long-winded analysis. It's still awesome. Jaw-dropping visuals, catchy and effective soundtrack, wonderful writing. What more can you really ask for? There's so much good **** buried in the details, little love letters to the long-term fans that show how well the writers know the character, but the bold-faced main plot stuff works too. Kingpin's motivations and comeuppance. The powerful side-arc with The Prowler. Miles growing into the role, physically and psychologically. And everything's so effortlessly quick-witted, without sacrificing the ground-level struggles that have always made Spider-Man so relatably human. How much longer do I need to wait for a sequel?

The quintessential Spider-Man movie. A moving examination of maturity, bravery, and discovering one's identity. Groundbreaking and jaw-dropping animation. Some of the best voice-work in the industry. Immaculately written. This sets a bar that not many will be able to pass.

An amazing Spider-man movie. The imagination, soundtrack, voiceacting, a storyline that hits almost every beat and on top of everything, characters with likeable personalities and struggles. It's hard to say anything that hasn't been said about Into the Spider-Verse, but the most important thing I could say is that I love it not only in a critical way, but also because how happy it makes me. It might be a comfort movie in that way.

(Mauro Lanari) First of all, I never understood why to title "Superman", "Batman", "Watchmen", "Aquaman", "Ant-Man", "Iron Man", "X-Men", "Spider-Man", etc., comics and characters aimed not at an adult audience but at adolescent problems. Would "Superteen-Hero" have upset the bottom line? Moreover, while the MWI and the pluriverse have not found, from '57 to today, any empirical or experimental confirmation, the only ones who have benefited from it have been narrators and storytellers, abusing it for endless reboots of the same pappardella. Enjoy yourselves. I don't.

Incredible animation, but an absolute dumpster fire of a screenplay. Hollywood would never fire such writers, because they would need them to continue spewing more hot garbage such as this for the foreseeable future and call it 'muh diversity'. The first film was way better than this embarrassment. Shame on you.

Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse was at the time a revolution and a visual slap in 2018. If the film has not aged by an inch despite its sequel, it is nevertheless pleasant to watch. We follow a Miles Morales in full transformation, in quete of identity while mixing the notion of multiverse so hard to adapt.
