Purple Hearts would be a lot more interesting if it interrogated the specific moments of weakness that attract Cassie to Luke, but that’s far too complex an idea to explore in this kiddie pool of sentimentality.

I really don't understand these negative reviews! I truly believe the bad reviews are from people with a political agenda. If you just view this movie as that a movie, it's extremely entertaining. The main characters have excellent chemistry. I believe it debunks many stereotypes and just shows you that people can overcome their differences and find true love. It's one of my favorite go to movies

First half is hilarious, second half is just vomit. Both were awful, genuinely probably the worst film I've ever seen. ****. Bad.
