This is a film so sweet it might give you a contact sugar rush, but it features two inherently likable, great-looking romantic leads, a fine supporting performance by the always reliable Virginia Madsen, a timeless true-meaning-of-Christmas message — and a genuinely cinematic style, mostly because the movie was actually filmed on Andrews Air Force base in Guam and the surrounding beaches and jungles and islands.

An anodyne, friction-free romantic comedy that faintly distinguishes itself from its snow-sprayed genre brethren with enticingly balmy South Pacific scenery. If nothing else, it gives viewers something to daydream about while they keep half an eye on its story.

This is blatant Air Force propaganda with the somewhat dubious combination of Transport Pilots and Politics. While the movie itself knows exactly what it is and does it well enough; helped along by the chemistry of the two lead actors I would not say it is 90 minutes wasted but it is not really memorable. As long as you do not expect anything other than cheesy heartwarming pro-military messaging out of this one, you can certainly do a lot worse.

Decepcionado. Tentaram forçar o casal, mas tudo foi jogado muito rápido e não deu tempo de ser trabalhado, acabou que ficou algo sem química. Sobre o enredo em si, fraco, até mesmo pra um clichê.
