Not just an excellent Musical. But the actors are excellent through the whole thing. Thoroughly entertaining still to the stay 2026. This time. Has really been lost in time we need to treasure it the costumes the effort the singing the stories they just don't make movies like this anymore. And we are the worst for it our kids are worse for it. If you've been to the show for the last 10 years 20 years we have really missed hollywood. Unfortunately the Hollywood that started out and was in the 40s 50s is gone. I believe this was made in the 60s by the end of the '60s everything had really changed including language skin reading everything PG and kids going full crazy. Personally I blame it on the'60s Woodstock thing but we have been missing morality and kindness and teaching our kids good things and to be happy inside for a long time. Definitely have your kids get used to the older stuff they will actually learn something or feel good about themselves.

I actually really loved the middle act of this from when she gets to the house all the way through to the ball. The leads dynamic together was solid and the performances and delivery were on point. The rest is pretty rough though, unfortunately. There's about 30 minutes total with her father that seem incredibly pointless for the plot and pacing. I found it odd that it was nominated for all acting categories except lead actress but Hepburn's intro is wildly over the top and overacted, and her singing sequences were dubbed. Awful ending...

Loved this film as a kid, although it's somewhat dated now. Some very strong performances, and the story is good! Still catch myself singing along to some of the songs! Definitely worth a watch!

I have just watched this for the first time in the new remastered 4K version and WOW it looks astonishing, the amount of detail captured from the original 65mm film is incredible. The costumes, indoor and outdoor scenes are glorious and I was captivated by the story from start to finish. It has great songs, some of which are famous and I didn't know were attributed to this musical and the two leads, particularly Audrey Hepburn, sing and act really well. I thoroughly enjoyed this film and will definitely be watching it again.

As masterfully elegant and lovely as it is rich thematically in its story. The amazing performances even further rises this film as undeniably one of the greatest if not the greatest film of all time.
