Like "Sex and the City 2," Marmaduke features well-coifed bitches in heat, nonstop puns and its very own Mr. Big. Unlike "SATC 2," this one is harmless and, on occasion, mildly witty.

If you like the comic strip, now in its 56th year, maybe you'll like it, maybe not. Marmaduke's personality isn't nearly as engaging as Garfield's. Then again, if personality is what you're in the market for, maybe you shouldn't be considering a lip-synched talking animal comedy in the first place.

What's not to love?! It has dogs who talk and it's hilarious! The bee part was definitely my favorite. Lots of good actors in the film as well. My kids and I love it! I think the critics are very harsh with the reviews. It's a very good movie! Marmaduke is my favorite dog movie.

Absolutely fantastic movie, it made me cry tears of happiness. The characters are completely believable, the acting is superb, especially Owen Wilson, and the directing is some of the best since Stanley Kubrick, heck, even better! This movie deserves an academy award in every category, including best original song and best animated movie!! Truly a masterpiece of film making! I would recommend this movie to everyone I know. I watch it every day.

For the most part the jokes here are tired. William H. Macy is a welcome presence in the small role of Phil's offbeat-but- intense boss.

cut the film some slack, it may not be to grown upsliking but is perfect for the lttle kids. it has its funny moments, whoever does not like this does not have any sense of humour!

Marmaduke is one of those movies that isn't a dog, but not PAW some either. It has some moneys of humor, but its a flick mainly for younger ones. It has an overload on potty humor and is bland and very predictable. It's mostly harmless, but not the best family movie.

Its not all bad, and its a heck of a lot more fun than Alvin and the Chipmunks 3. Owen Wilson was a good choice for Marmaduke's voice and the story is harmless fun.

"Extremely Cartoonish , the CGI animated dancing Dog sequence kind of freaked me out , it reminded me of Scooby Doo which i liked better than this its mild entertainment for the young ones parents and teens you will be lost in the movies bad plot & blunder" .. C-

Just a horrendous “film” in every way even so that it’s a sim this got made. I just can’t comprehend the fact someone thought it was ok to release this. Finishing this, I was left disgusted and sickened.
