Naomi Watts played a good part. It seemed to lack a bit in plot. The scenery and wilderness was beautiful. Not a bad story of survival, just lacking a bit in other areas.

A silly white woman goes alone (please never do!) to the mountains, does stupid things, but never dies, because feminism, heroic struggles and feelings. A glorious celebration of modern film-making cluelessness. Avoid.

Infinite Storm sabe muito bem a que veio, tem uma linha certeira onde quer chegar: a vida de duas pessoas são afetadas positivamente. O grande problema aqui é a condução do roteiro. Naomi Watts faz o possível para entregar uma convincente alpinista, e de fato a atuação dela está bem na média esperada. Ela se aventura quando ocorre uma tempestade, tornando tudo mais difícil, até que encontra um homem pelo qual ela põe sua vida mais em risco e, ao que parece, o homem não está tão disposto a sobreviver assim. Logo, ela vai lutando não só contra a natureza, mas também com os problemas psicológicos do seu parceiro desconhecido. Ele, por diversas vezes, dá mostra de querer se suicidar ou algo nesse sentido, e ela se desdobra para salvar a ambos. Em flashbacks, em momentos difíceis, ela relembra das filhas, mostrando também um apelo emocional da parte dela. Quando falei anteriormente que o roteiro era um problema, é porque não houve um cuidado na inserção do expectador, tudo aconteceu de forma muito rápida e crua, tão logo o filme começa já começa a nevasca, parece que você está assistindo a um filme da discovery channel. Sendo assim, as ligações e o sentido só vão surgir ao final, quando há um diálogo um ano após o ocorrido, no mesmo lugar. Cinema é potencialização das imagens. O que ocorreu com esse filme é que houve um cuidado nas cenas com a nevasca, e as outras precisaram de um grande contorcionismo para fazer sentido, não houve um preparo dos personagens, e muito do sentido ficou resumido em notas ou frases curtas. Ao menos a mensagem é interessante e tocante. E pelo fato de tudo ser baseado em fatos reais, emociona ainda mais. Entretanto, poderia ser melhor contada.

So how should "John" replace his deceased partner, becoming bigamist? An existentialist survival movie with a really stupid message.

With this film, my interest in cinema increased. This picture is really like Van Gogh's works....

Looks like another PC Feminist garbage movie I won't waste a second of my time watching! Strong Mary Sue women in a disaster and weak man. Everyone knows it's the opposite when **** hits the fan.

Since 2019 Naomi Watts seems interested in stepping out of a comfort zone and has been starring in very different films from each other, with equally varied results. Infinite Storm at least if anything was more exciting than her last film in which she spends nearly an hour onstage running around. A survival story in which the protagonist had the skills to get out of her predicament, but it is someone else she must save to make the story exciting. It is applauded that even with all the explanations the film respects the fact that its female lead is the one who carries the show of doing incredible things in an extreme situation. Needless to say, Infinite Storm is the kind of movie that doesn't take chances, and in a way it didn't need to, at least not to satisfy the demand to become something bigger than it really is. The balance between action and flashbacks may not be the best, but within reason the film does the best it can with what it has. No more, no less.

It was an okay movie. It was easy to follow because of only two main characters. There were no complicated relationships. t was also easy for me to understand because they didn't speak lots. It was hard for them to speak during the storm. Even if you are not an English speaker, you may understand the plot.

Naomi Watts plays a climber who sets out to ascend Mt. Washington in New Hampshire, but a big blizzard complicates matters. Even more so, she discovers a lone man stranded in the snow and determines to get them both out alive. Since this is based on a true story, you have to accept the unlikely scenarios and just enjoy the hike. Even with several setbacks, there's never any sense of peril that develops. The 30 minutes after they return attempts to add an emotional element to the journey, but ultimately falls flat. While the ordeal is interesting and the look is impressively snowy, the lack of tension keeps the film from being truly involving.
