A perfect movie, the only one possibly. Incredible mind being plot with the most original idea for a movie. Edge of the seat action and breathtaking imagery and cinematography taken to another level from the Hans Zimmer score. This movie gives me goose bumps every time I watch it. Pure cinema!

One of my favorite Leonardo DiCaprio movies of all time. I love the story of this movie and found the action quite the spectacle to see. My only regret is not seeing this in theatres.

An exceptionally well made movie that goes beyond the screen. This is one of the few movies that has ever made me obsessed with it, and dive deeper into its topic. While it portrays it in a fantastical manner, the actual topic (lucid dreaming) is super interesting. There used to be an iOS app that distorts real world audio and plays it alongside the movie's beautiful Hans Zimmer soundtrack. I used to go running with that app all the time (it has sadly been removed since :( ). I read Leberge's book on Lucid dreaming, I rewatched the movie >5 times. This movie is absolutely iconic, and certainly in my top 5, if not, favorite movie of all time.

I mean what can I say its almost flawless. And for those who are complaining about the movie being too complicated that's just low IQ energy.

Visually stunning but there seemed to be a lack of character depth for all characters bar Cobb. Nothing really happened for the first ~1 hour.

I even went back to see it at the Yongsan IMAX—though I remember being so dizzy because I sat in the front row. 260312 (5.0)I’ve rewatched this one several times since then. I am absolutely in love with Marion Cotillard; her presence on screen is just captivating. Despite the initial vertigo from that IMAX seat, it was a 5.0 experience through and through. It’s one of those rare films that demands to be seen on the biggest screen possible, weaving a complex narrative with such emotional depth that I find something new to admire with every single viewing. A definitive masterpiece of 2010.

Greetings from **** that was something... I simply run out off words after watching this one for the first time in 2010. This is going to sound very familiar, but this film was insanely brilliant. This was probably the best experience i had in a movies - ever, at the **** much as "Avatar" was breathtaking experience in visuals, "Inception" is a breathtaking experience in storytelling. Everything in this movie works on the level of masterpiece - and i mean - everything! I didn't completely understood all aspects of the film in the first viewing (and i don't thing anyone did) - but this film blew my **** much as i love "The Dark Knight", I think "Inception" is better film. Watch this film, way you still can, because after 20 years, this is going to the be classic like "2001" and "Blade Runner" - it's THAT **** the way, the zero-gravity scene in the hotel so reminded my of "2001" - the music, cinematography, the feeling... the masterpiece.

Inception is a groundbreaking film that masterfully blends sci-fi, psychological thriller, and emotional drama. Christopher Nolan’s complex narrative explores dreams within dreams, challenging the boundaries between reality and perception. Leonardo DiCaprio delivers a powerful performance as Dom Cobb, navigating guilt and redemption. The film’s stunning visuals, especially the iconic bending cityscape, combined with Hans Zimmer’s intense score, create an immersive experience. Although the layered storyline can be confusing at times, it rewards attentive viewers with deep philosophical themes. Inception remains a timeless cinematic masterpiece that pushes the limits of storytelling and filmmaking innovation.

Inception is a masterpiece of cinematic storytelling that blends mind-bending concepts with breathtaking visuals. The plot follows a team of dream thieves who attempt to plant an idea in someone's mind rather than steal one - a concept known as inception. Christopher Nolan crafts a narrative that operates on multiple dream levels simultaneously, challenging viewers to keep track of shifting realities while delivering an emotionally resonant story about grief and redemption. The visual effects are nothing short of spectacular. From a folding Paris to a rotating hotel corridor fight scene, Inception creates impossible dreamscapes that remain grounded in a tangible reality. The film's practical effects combined with CGI create a visual language that helps viewers navigate the complex storyline. The iconic visuals perfectly complement the intricate plot, making this one of the most unforgettable cinematic experiences of the past decade.

Well written, mesmerising visuals, and a great soundtrack. I found it a bit dark, which is a shame as the subject matter (building worlds in dreams) is fascinating.

"Inception" is the first film I've seen by Christopher Nolan. Fifteen years ago, I was deeply impressed, and today—with a little more viewing experience—I still am. A key reason for this is probably my love of heist movies, and "Inception" is a very entertaining example of this genre. I also think the way the idea is implanted in Cillian Murphy's mind is very well done. And while Di Caprio's story bloats the film, it doesn't take the wind out of its sails. With a running time of almost three hours, I was never bored even after watching it for the fourth **** this particular film became one of the biggest pop cultural events of the 2010s, I can't explain. For me, it's the fascinating paradox of Nolan as a filmmaker: He always manages to squeeze a lot of money out of big studios for rather cerebral ideas, or rather, sell them to a mainstream audience. He shoots on film in the traditional way, using VFX only where necessary, and even occasionally letting a train drive through a crowded street. His scripts are almost over-engineered, so much so that when you watch the film, you notice its architecture; the characters often say unnatural things and/or regularly throw in such obvious exposition/explanations/etc. that even the last person in the theater understands what's happening and why. This allows you to follow the film without thinking too much and simply have a good time.Because, ultimately, I believe Nolan is all about creating emotions. In his very own, technocratic way. And that's also the reason why I've never understood why there are so many explainer videos about his films. What are they trying to explain to me about "Inception"? Whether the spinning top falls or not? That question still leaves me cold to this day.

Christopher Nolan's winding, twisting dreamland epic is just as revelatory today as it was in theaters. Nolan clearly took his time with this script, a full eight years in the making, and it bears gorgeous fruit in the form of a rich, bright analysis of lucid dreams, shared consciousness and the roots of influence in the human psyche. Those are some pretty heavy concepts to just toss around in a Hollywood blockbuster, but through careful elaboration and a few very stylish test cases, it manages to efficiently explain the ground rules and get on to telling the story without bucking the casuals or alienating the intellectuals. With all sorts of hidden truths, cleverly-masked winks and subtle hints at deeper meanings, there's also much more here than can be absorbed in a single viewing. Although the run time falls well north of two hours, the groundwork is so enveloping - and the plot so fast-paced - that the minutes just rip by without any regard for the clock on your wall. It's a fantastic effort, and a great indication that large-scale, big-budget American filmmaking can still bring the goods from time to time.

Confuso, estranho e complicado.

I had heard of this movie a long time ago. But I've never seen it before. Until two weeks ago, My friend came and asked me: “Are you interested in movies about theory or science?” I told him I really liked it and I also like action movies. So he recommended ‘Inception’ to me and he invited me to watch it together. The plot of the movie is about stealing ideas through dreams. Dom Cobb, the man who founded the intelligence espionage team. He is the best at entering dreams and steal valuable secrets from the subconscious of the target who is asleep. One day Cobb and the team meets an influential Japanese businessman named Saito who will hire Cobb to go on some missions in exchange for his return to the country without guilt. But instead, he hires Cobb to steal some information inside his rival mind. The mission turned out to be the opposite. When he wanted Cobb and his team to implant an idea into the mind of the son of the owner of his rival company. But it seems the new mission isn't as easy as it seems. When everything doesn't go as planned. As a result, Cobb and his team face more and more dangers on each floor of their dreams. While watching, I was surprised by the film production. Whether it's the actors, the plot, the setting, or the story. This movie is very interesting. It's a sci-fi action movie. Suitable for people who like movies with unexpected plots. Can't guess anything. This movie will keep our brains working for 2 and a half hours because it has many complicated theories. But it's full of interest with an unbeatable plot and the concept of Lucid dream, the most intricate. And I think that in that era, Inception was a very cutting edge movie. Because time probably won't be able to do anything about it. Even I came to see it after the movie had been shown for ten years. I'm still amazed by the plot, visuals and sounds, or scenes that I don't think ten years ago anyone would have thought of something like this. I don't know how Nolan's brain came up with something like this. The part that enhances the movie to fulfill the imagination of the viewer very well is probably the CG and the most spectacular cinematography. Each scene was created through Nolan’s detailed thought process. Such as the scenes of the dream collapsing, the folding city, or the dream from the first floor to the last floor all create excitement for me very well. I think Inception is a pretty difficult movie to watch. Because it takes thinking about the whole thing. Think along the storylines and characters. You may have to watch it two or more times to understand and relate to the movie more. Although it may be difficult to understand at first. But I would recommend watching this movie. Lastly, for Nolan's films, I would definitely rank this one as my favorite of his. I really love this !

When I first watch this movie, I was just shocked with it's twist. I'm not gonna mention details, because can't share any spoilers.Simply this movie makes a complex story, that makes you question so many things. "Why he is keeping her in his dreams?" or whatever your question is answering with some well written line. That scene is the key to the whole movie. That line between Cobb and Mal answers all your questions at once. That's why I like this movie so much. Some movies has that potential. Making a complex story that someone could answer with only one sentence. You're waiting for that line for whole content. But most of the contents are not managing that well.

Christopher nolan was known for his special cinematography of imagination about controlling about dreaming ( lucid ) which inception is good work of about dreams which we dream in sleeping and connect the threads over every dream leads to a proper work of archethicture of dreams which some times we can't understand about our dreams we dream which every person dreams are different and it's all about dream controlling of a person obtaining information of what we require

While there are some loose ends that never get fully explained, this is still one of my favorite sci-fi movies. It raises deep questions about our reality and how the human mind works. It has many of the bioengineering aspects of cyberpunk while still stylistically being set in a near future that is similar to the present day. If you want to be completely absorbed in a movie for 2 and a half hours (although it feels much shorter!), this is the movie for you.

Bland, stale and most importantly annoying so much so I fell asleep in the theater when this movie was new. Nothing was cool and nothing was noteworthy. Honestly a soulless experience and 148 mins feels like 5 hours in comparison. Inception gets a 1/10

Why it rocks: Inception is incredibly original. It has fast paced nature, and it’s one of those films where you really have to pay close attention. It is very complex and jumps from one thing to another really quick, but it’s presented in a very simple way overall, and action is awesome.

This movie is great it makes you have to use your mind a lot and think about what Is actually happening. For the first hour it can be a little bit confusing but as the movie drags on it becomes more obvious about what Is actually happening. Christopher Nolan’s cinematic shots are great especially the slow motion ones. The thing that makes this movie is the score one of the best around would recommend this movie to anyone who likes mind using movies
